The Hate That Ends Marriage

The Hate That Ends Marriage
It's Not Good to Keep Envy in Your Own Friend

Ignoring the sound of an impatient knock on the door of his room, Gilang tilted his body then covered his head with a pillow. It was deafening listening to her mother's scolding from outside her bedroom door. He knew at this time his parents must have been astonished by his attitude, which had since yesterday confined himself in the room. You could even say since yesterday he had no food at all.

The guilt that has been eating away at him since his meeting with Radit last afternoon caused him to lose his appetite. He did not know how to deal with his friend. Revealing the fact that he really has feelings for his wife will certainly make him get a blow from his friend. After careful thought, it might not be a bad idea.

Feeling relieved after no more sounds outside his room, Gilang stared blankly at the ceiling of his room. Lifting his phone, he stared at Widya's photo on his phone screen. Now what he had to do, mused Gilang, shutting himself up constantly in his house would not solve the problem.

For whatever time he put off the matter, still one day he would have to solve this problem of his out-of-place feelings as quickly as possible. Keeping his childhood friend's wife's feelings for too long is not wise. Although Radit once said they were married on the basis of compulsion, still, Widya had legally become Radit's wife. Hoping that the two would part would only make her look evil.

Since long ago, for some reason, Gilang always liked the feelings of women who belonged to Radit. Several times he felt tempted to snatch his friend's girlfriend. The envy of Radit who always gets the woman he wants makes him want to destroy his friend's relationship. Maybe that's why, he used to feel rather happy when Nadin left his friend, because he chose his career.

The impact of his phone that fell on his face made Crazy groan in pain. Plopping his phone on the bed, Gilang glared angrily at his phone. It seems, his phone also criticized Gilang's actions who felt happy over the suffering of his friend. Yes, he admitted, he was not a good friend. Making old friends by harboring feelings of envy in his friend is indeed a despicable act. Moreover, Radit had never once been bad to him.

Rubbing his face furiously, Gilang got up from his sleeping position. Well, this is not the time to act like this loser, it's time he spoke his mind to Radit. However, before that he had to fill his stomach first. Very silly, if later he suddenly fell down due to lack of energy.

Stepping quickly to his bedroom door, Gilang accidentally listened to the conversation of his parents outside his room.

"Geez! Really, Sir? Unfortunately, Radit's wife had to experience something bad like that" his mother sighed.

"But, I heard that both of them had received a reward from Grandma Aya. It's good then that the two bad girls will stop bothering Widya again" his father said, clicking his tongue.

"Mom was surprised by the behavior of Tika and Nita, why the hell they had to behave so childishly. Too bad Widya had to find her legs sprained again by the actions of the two women," reproached her mother.

What's the matter, actually? Not a day had he locked himself in his room, but what? Widya sprained? How come! Women as tough as Widya can be defeated by Tika and Nita. The last time he saw the fight of the three women, he could tell that Widya was not that weak woman. Then how is it possible, now he sprained because he was attacked again by Tika and Nita?

Opening the door of his room violently, Gilang shocked his parents, who stared in surprise at him.

Ignoring her parents' calls, Gilang rushes out of the house to find out the true events, which befall Widya. Although his mind screamed loudly for him to stop himself from running like a doormat, he couldn't stop the worry he felt when he found out Widya was now injured out there.

In his mind, he knew very clearly, if this had nothing to do with him at all, but without being able to stop, his feet continued to step away looking for Widya's whereabouts.

After a few minutes of running, Gilang rested his hands on the shady trees, resting himself from fatigue. This is due to his behavior no touching food for a day, now his legs feel weak like melted wax. Even the dizziness in his head had made the streets before him feel swirling.

Forcing himself to continue on his journey would only make himself drowned in the streets, like a piece of paper that fell in the wind. Subjecting his head staring dejectedly at the ground he was treading on, a small pebble caught his attention. Irritatedly kicked the pebble from before him.

Frowning annoyed at the pebble that had been thrown away from him, Gilang gasped in shock as a hand patted his shoulder. A goosebumping feeling ran down his back, before he turned to face the person behind him. Somehow he already felt that someone was Radit, of course, his guess was very correct. Bad feelings are never wrong.

His friend crossed his arms while looking at him with glittering eyes annoyed, and there was also a sense of satisfaction there. Maybe he was finally happy because he had found the whereabouts of Gilang who had been hiding from him.

"It turns out you're here" he said. "What's it like to hide like a mouse from me? Why is that hue of your face, are you that scared of me to this pale?"

"My face has nothing to do with you. And, just so you know I'm not hiding from you" Gilang said, annoyed by Radit's annoying behavior mocking him with a rat.

"Oh, huh?" Radit raised one eyebrow, his expression showing disbelief. "Then why am I so hard-pressed to find you today, my lying friend?"

"That has nothing to do with you! I'm busy doing something today."

"Of course, this has something to do with me. If your business is related to my wife" Radit lamented.

"By the way about your wife, I heard today she had another fight with Tika and Nita. Is she okay?" Gilang tried hard so that his voice sounded not too care.

Squinting his eyes suspiciously, Radit said curtly, "on account of my wife's condition, you don't have to worry about her. I can take care of it." Stepping closer, Radit lowered his voice. "Now tell me, buddy, is my guess right that you have feelings for my wife?"

Replying to Radit's angry gaze with almost the same anger, Gilang answered his friend's question while gritting his teeth.

"Yes, right, I like it! Whyever not? It's not that you guys don't like each other, so what's wrong with me keeping my feelings to your wife?"

Pulling Gilang's collar furiously, Radit clenched his hands, as if preparing to punch him in the face.

"What's wrong with you?" Push it rough Gilang body on the tree behind him. "Even though we married on the basis of compulsion, she is still my wife, you need to be*n!"

"What harm? I just like it! I have no intention of taking it from you. You can't force me to just forget about it," said Gilang ketus. "I can't control my feelings. I'm sick of giving up on you anyway."

"What do you mean?"

"People like you who always get whatever you want, won't understand how I feel" Grunted Gilang, smiling obliquely at Radit. "Don't be afraid, man! I'm not going to ruin your household, I realize where my limits are."

"Damn you!" Radit raised his fist.

Closing both eyes, Gilang prepared to get his friend's punch. Yeah, slap me! Don't hold back, I deserve a blow from you.

"What are you doing?"

The shocked voice of a woman made Gilang realize that his quarrel with Radit was witnessed by others. Damnit. Poking her head, she sighed inwardly, seeing Mila turn away in surprise looking at her who was speechless resignedly on the back of a tree waiting for Radit's punch. This is not what he wants, but what the forces of destiny say is different.

If you think about it well, it's wrong to choose an open place like this to ignite Radit's anger at him. But at the very least, he should be thankful that no one else was looking, other than Mila, who was still frozen in place staring gawking at Gilang and Radit.
