This afternoon, Widya intends to give a surprise to Radit. She was going to deliver lunch to her husband. This time he was very sure Radit would love the taste of his cooking.
Widya had made sure of that, before putting her homemade lunch into the bushel of her food. Although the cuisine can not be said to be very tasty, but at least, the cuisine is not as bad as it was ever processed first.
The troublesome part of her trip to her husband's farm was that she had to walk there. However, it does not matter, if he enjoys his journey, maybe without realizing he has arrived there.
Thankfully, God was kind to her. On his way, Widya accidentally crosses paths with Ririn, who just returned from school wearing her motorcycle.
No need to wait a long time, Widya has arrived at her husband's farm with Ririn. Walking into her husband's farm cheerfully, she tried to find her husband's whereabouts. Surprisingly, he did not find Radit anywhere.
That's when she saw Deni, her husband's best friend, was busy directing one of the workers there.
"Den, have you seen Radit?" ask her directly, without making small talk to say hello.
Widya was made confused when Deni jumped in shock, before turning around to look at her. Though he felt that his voice was not that scary, so it could make someone react in fear, as Deni showed him now.
His face looked deathly pale as he looked nervously at her. In fact, he was trying to avoid looking into his eyes directly.
What's wrong with her? Did he eat wrong?
"Oy, Bang Deni," called Ririn, plucking her finger in front of Deni to resuscitate her. "Sister Widya is asking you, instead of trying to catch you."
"I also know that," Deni replied, staring resentfully at Ririn.
"If you know, why not answer?" reply Ririn. "It's weird. This attitude of Bang Deni was like a person who was caught hiding something suspicious. Isn't that right, Widya? Brother felt it too, right?"
Observing Deni even more closely, Widya felt Ririn had a point as well. Deni's awkward attitude when he saw her, showed that she was hiding something from him.
This situation is also increasingly awkward, when Widya remembered not being able to find Radit anywhere. Shouldn't Radit be here to work? There was no way he would still be in the center of the city for this long.
A cold feeling flowed behind his back. For some reason, he felt that something bad was going to happen in a moment.
As long as he was busy with his thoughts, Deni and Ririn were arguing with each other.
"Both of you, stop it right now!" his orders were firm, throwing furious gazes at the two. "I'm waiting for your answer, Den. Where's Radit, my husband?"
"A-I don't know as well," Deni replied stammering, glancing nervously behind him. "I thought I saw it, but, I don't know. Maybe he's going somewhere not far from here."
"Lho, not that Radit was chatting with his old friend yes," chirped one of the workers, who was directed by Deni.
Instantly Deni's whole body stiffened. He turned his head while touching his index finger in front of his lips.
"If I may know, is this old friend a woman?" widya asked, smiling sweetly at the confused young man.
Having forbidden Deni to say anything more, the young man simply nodded his head at Widya.
I heard a sharp breath next to him. The voice came from Ririn, who was currently covering her mouth with both hands.
"Don't tell me it's Nadin's sister" Ririn's great-granddaughter widened her eyes.
"Deni, tell me where Radit is, right now!" he exclaimed, running out of patience to face Deni's silent action earlier.
"I can't tell her, if you're angry like this," Deni refused, still firmly not wanting to tell her whereabouts. "You better calm your emotions first, after that...."
"I'm not asking for your advice on what to do!" cut it off, really made even more angry by the attitude of Deni who was advising him. "Tell me, or I'll tear apart this whole farm to look for him!"
"Sister Widya, calm down!" pinta Ririn, hesitantly touching her arm.
Throwing hard at the lunch she had painstakingly made onto the ground, Widya threw a furious look at her sister-in-law. Quickly, Ririn ran behind Deni's back to take cover from his rampage.
"How come you told me to calm down, when I didn't know what Radit was doing with his fucking ex-girlfriend!" his his fury, turned his gaze to Deni. "Tell me now, or I'll destroy you first, before tearing Radit apart when I find him later. How dare he break his promise."
"He's behind the cabin there."
Deni showed his index finger trembling towards the hut not far behind him. Moving her legs steadily, Widya prepared to meet her husband and ex-boyfriend there.
"We can't let Widya go there alone. What if he kills Bang Radit and Brother Nadin there?" ririn said, tugging at Deni's sleeves.
"You're right too. We should be there to mediate the dispute, which is about to break out," Deni agreed.
Both of them ran after Widya. Hoping to stop the huge commotion, which was about to happen.
Their hopes were both in vain, because this is where Widya is now. After venting his emotions by throwing Nadin to the ground, he was ready to grab the hair of the shameless woman. Though it was obvious that he said last night, if he no longer wanted to see him meet Radit secretly like this.
His anger grew, as the woman did not rise from there, as if hoping someone would help her stand up. Seeing his victim-like behavior, stirred up the wild side within him.
"Widya, calm yourself!" Radit catches his arm, as Widya wants to get close to Nadin.
"You have no right to say anything to me right now!" Widya brushed off Radit's hand from his arm. "This shameless woman should be taught more than this! After that, it's your turn."
Ririn who had recovered from her shock, immediately ran over to Nadin on the ground to help him stand up.
"Is Brother Nadin okay?" ririn said worriedly, touching her hands gently on Nadin's arms. "Geez! Widya's sister made her cry!"
Ririn turned her head while casting an accusatory look at him.
"She was already crying, before I dropped her!" reply Widya, raise her voice.
His screams suddenly made Ririn sit limp on the ground, like Nadin. Next to his hand touched his chest, as if so surprised by Widya's tantrum at him.
"Sister Widya doesn't have to yell at me like that. Brother scared me!"
"I wouldn't scream if you hadn't yelled at me!"
"You two, stop yelling at each other!" raung Radit wrathful.
Turning her face to Radit in disbelief, Widya slammed her fist into her husband's chest.
"How dare you yell that loud at me! You shameless barbarian cheating husband!"
"I'm not an cheat! You're the accuser's wife doesn't know what's right!" reply Radit furious.
"Hold your emotions!" Radit caught his hand. "It's not a place for the two of us to argue. Everyone here will listen to us."
"Stop advising me! You have no right to regulate me anymore."
"I deserve!"
"No!"
"Widya, be rational!" radit said, frustrated with his stubborn attitude. "It's not all what you think."
"What do you think I'm thinking, huh?"
Not able to bear to see the debate any longer, Deni ventured to mediate.
"This is what you're talking about in your house, not here" Deni suggested, looking back and forth at the two of them. "Didn't you see that now you're the spectacle material of the people here."
"Let's let everyone here see, so they know what their boss is doing!" sahut Widya, turned her head to look at Deni coldly. "Now my business here is done, excuse me."
Before going any further, Widya paused for a moment to say the last thing she wanted to say.
"For you, Ririn, congratulations on getting a new sister-in-law."
Ignoring the gasping sound behind her, Widya resumed her steps. Before he could get out of the farm, Radit immediately stopped him by pulling his wrist.
Unhappy that many people were watching the two of them, Radit yelled angrily to expel his workers, who were seriously watching. Everyone immediately ran away, leaving the two of them to return to work.
"Take your filthy hands off me!" hiss Widya, pulling her hand from Radit's grasp. "Just destroy your stash!"
"I won't let you go before you listen to my explanation" Radit refused firmly, further strengthening his grasp. "I can't let you go with this misunderstanding. We need to finish it right now."
"I don't need your explanation. Everything I saw was enough to explain to me that you ignored my warning."
"I admit, I did violate your warning, but I didn't do it on purpose" Radit said. "I did just that, because the situation made me have to take that action. You can ask Deni, if you don't want to believe what I'm saying."
"The two of you make no difference to me" Widya said cynically. "He's your cabal, of course, he'll take your side. I'm not stupid, Mr. Cheater."
"Stop calling me that! I never cheated on you once."
"That's what you said" Widya snorted, looking down at Radit. "Take me off, or I...."
"Or what am I? Biting me? Slap me?" challenge Radit, looking down at him.
"Or I'll do this."
Gathering all her strength, Widya swung her leg kicking Radit's shins. Of course, the plan worked. Radit quickly let go of his grasp, he lifted his leg that had been kicked by him while rubbing it in pain.
Not only that, in order to make sure Radit can not chase after him, Widya also kicked strongly next to his foot. Satisfied by the results of his actions, Widya turned her back, leaving Radit struggling with the pain he left behind.
Radit called out his name repeatedly, but Widya ignored him. Now he just wants to be alone, away from everyone's view.

With a limp step, Radit tried to pursue Widya. However, Deni stopped him by pulling his arm. When he wanted to curse his best friend, Radit was silent when he saw Nadin running past him with a teary face.
Although he was very upset at Nadin, having caused a quarrel between himself and Widya, he also could not let him go alone like that. No, after his wife threw him so rough to the ground.
"Ririn, you'd better take Nadin home" she asked her sister, who was standing next to her. "Send my apology to her for Widya's rude attitude earlier."
"Then, what about Widya? Didn't Bang Radit go after him?"
"Just obey my orders, do not interfere in my household affairs all," Radit exasperated. "You are so weird. You accused Widya, now you worry about her. Do you know, your attitude has already hurt her."
"I didn't mean it!" elak Ririn, trying hard to stem the tears that almost spilled. "I was just surprised. After all, the wounds I gave were not as severe as the ones you gave."
"You're right." Doldrums. "Don't cry either. Go take care of Nadin! About Widya let Brother handle it."
"Abang that makes a fuss, why should I be bothered, cih," grumbled Ririn, walking away leaving her. "Remember, Bang Radit owes me this."
"Based on a bad boy, being asked for a little help just can't."
Seeing the departure of his sister, who had walked away, Radit was also preparing to leave following Widya. His anger rose again, when he remembered Widya acting insolent by kicking her legs earlier.
Their problem would not be solved, if he acted violently like that, in order to stop Radit from giving an explanation to him. However, the two of them had to talk about this right now. Delaying it will only aggravate the situation.
"Where are you going?" deni asked, holding him back again. "It's not a good decision to talk about this matter, when you two get angry at each other like this. You guys should talk about it with a cold head."
"You don't understand, Den. The more I delay talking about this matter, the more Widya will misunderstand."
"Listen to me! You won't get anything if you talk to him right now. You'll just shout at each other later. At least give your wife some time to calm down."
"How can he be calm, if he hasn't listened to my explanation?"
"Trust me. Leaving it alone now is the right thing to do" Deni said, patting him on the shoulder. "As long as he calms down at home, you can control your emotions here, before meeting him. Talking about the problem with a hot head won't solve anything."
For a moment, Radit thought of the suggestion. Feeling that there is no harm in following the advice of his best friend, Radit finally undoes his intention to pursue Widya.
"I understand" said Radit, then walked away.
"Where are you going?"
"Mandi," he answered briefly.
"Mandi? Why shower?" asked Deni astonished.
"Aren't you the one who said I should cool my head. What else can cool my head, besides flushing it with cold water."
"Oh, you're right too."
Then, Radit went into the cottage on the farm to clear his mind. Before entering the bathroom, he turned briefly to the open window, looking at the place where the terrible thing had happened.
