Radit tried to slip his body between the people who crowded in front of him. Benefiting from his large and tall posture, Radit was finally able to see Widya who was now standing behind him.
Not far from there Ayu-wife-Deni-looks so panicked. He looked at Widya with fear while trying to slowly approach her. Just as Ayu opened her mouth to say something, Widya turned her face to look at Ayu with a displeased look.
His glint seemed to say "Step a little, you will die in my hands". That's what Radit saw from his wife's gaze. No wonder Ayu stepped back, giving up trying to stop him.
Worse still, Radit only noticed if the merchant in front of Widya, it turns out that his entire body is soaked, as if someone had watered it.
No need to find out who did it, because he saw Widya's hand in the fish container, preparing to splash the water on anyone who dared to offend her. In fact, he suspected, the screams he heard earlier came from the women who were crowding near the fishmonger.
It seems that everyone who was there had cornered Widya so much that it provoked anger in his wife. Therefore, the women were not much different from the seller of fish that was watered.
If he thought carefully, Widya was outnumbered in the fight, but strangely all the women no one dared to fight him. His entire body was still clean-like when Radit left him earlier-unless, of course, both of his hands were in different circumstances.
"Repeat your words again, then all the water that is here I will throw it all at you!" widya exclaimed, positioning her hands, preparing to lift the fish container at any time.
"You wild woman!" hardik's one of the women there.
"Not educated!" the other timbrung.
"No manners!" the fishmonger's chimpanzee. "It's wrong, pretentious to act as a victim anyway. Flush again if you dare!"
"Know what you are!"
Not just a mere talk, Widya splashed water on all the women once again. Then began the sound of screams.
"Yes my. It's terrible" Deni said, tiptoed beside him, flabbergasted to see what was happening in front of him. "You gotta do something, Dit."
"That's what I'm doing right now" he said, urging himself on, trying to get to where Widya was. "All of you get out of my sight!"
Raugan murkanya managed to attract the attention of everyone, who was engrossed in watching the show. Slowly they began to step aside to give way to her while whispering.
Only one person who was not affected by his arrival, Widya. She had indeed stopped watering those annoying women, but she refused to turn her back on him. His rigid body attitude shows that his grumpy wife does not feel guilty in the slightest has been caught doing something bad.
"Thankfully you came just in time, Dit," relieved Ayu, running towards him.
Ignoring him, Radit continued to move closer to Widya. For a second his eyes never turned to look at his wife's stiff back.
"Follow me now!"
Radit grabbed Widya's wrist while dragging her to follow him. Behind him, several women who felt aggrieved by Widya's actions, shouted to hold her accountable.
"You hurt me!" widya shouted, lashing the back of his hand. "Take me off! I haven't finished giving the ladies those foul-mouthed pepper lessons."
Ignoring his wife's violent protest, Radit walked up to his friend Deni, who was now standing with Ayu in his arms.
"Den, please help me resolve the damage my wife has caused. Sorry to bother you and your wife" Radit regretted, giving an apologetic look to Ayu who still looked shocked.
"I'm fine," Ayu said, forcing a smile on her lips.
"You go. I'll handle the mess here" Deni told me.
"thank you. We'll talk about this again on my farm."

Throwing Widya onto the sofa, Radit walked back and forth before his wife. He tried to calm his bubbling emotions before lecturing his wife at length.
"It's so rude of you! After I was humiliated there instead of calming me down, you threw me like a bunch of insignificant things."
When Widya got up from the sofa, Radit stopped her by pushing her shoulder back to sit down again. Not to be outdone, Widya was as strong as she could against him.
"So, in addition to wanting to look after me, you also intend to kill your wife, do you?"
"I never meant to kill you. I'm just saying it."
"Just the same."
"Widya, listen to me first."
Contrary to his firm grip on both Widya's shoulders, he looked at his wife full of tenderness.
"I know how you feel now."
"You don't know anything. If you knew it, you wouldn't treat me like this."
"I didn't want to be this rude to you either, but your actions just now really made me angry."
"I did what I had to do. You can't expect me to be calm when someone tries to slander and vilify me."
"Although they are wrong, it still does not correct your actions" Radit continued, ignoring the piercing gaze of his wife. "What you've done just now will only make the situation worse. Your actions just made you exactly what everyone was gossiping about you. You shouldn't have treated the vilification of those women by watering them like that."
"Then how should I behave? Smiling to thank them? Saying 'Geez, how flattered I am for your wise talk', is that it?" widya said with sarcasm. "It's still good that the water I threw at them, not the fish in the container."
"Widy! I'm being serious."
"I'm serious too!" reply Widya just as neat. "You really think I'm kidding, huh?"
Massaging his temple for a moment, Radit then sat down next to Widya while facing Widya looking at him.
"Please, Widya. Remember, you are married. How many times have I emphasized this on you?"
"What does our marriage have to do with this?" Widya frowned.
"Both relate. Since you are married, you should be able to be wiser when dealing with a problem. Don't let the momentary emotion take over. It just makes you look like a kid instead of a family woman."
"The one who needs to listen here seems to be you, Dit." Widya clucked while shaking her head. "If you force maturity on someone, just because he or she is married, then you are wasting your time. Maturity can't just come out of a marriage."
Widya shut Radit's mouth ready to refute her words.
"One will be mature when he wants to be, not because others want him to be. You cannot force your will. Everyone will mature in time, not in your time."
Lowering Widya's hand that covered her mouth, for a moment Radit just stared at his wife without saying a word. After that he immediately grabbed Widya into his arms.
"All right, I get it. Just don't repeat your barbaric actions anymore. Remember I'm Mr. Kades' son in this village. You always seem to forget that."
Radit gave a small smile listening to Widya's moans, who seemed to have forgotten that she was the son-in-law of a Village Chief.
"It seems like I really have to control this implicit attitude of mine." Releasing her embrace, Widya looked at him regretfully. "Now I'm starting to regret it. I forgot that my implicit actions will also affect the quiet lives of others."
"You just calm down. I will settle this matter for you" he promised, unable to see his wife's grief. "Whatever happens I will definitely find the mastermind behind this false gossip spreader. My father's problem, you don't have to worry about it. I'll talk to him."
"Hopefully your father doesn't hate me."
"Don't think so badly. Now clean yourself up, then go rest."
After Widya cleans herself up, Radit drives Widya into their bedroom, then has her wife lie down to sleep before leaving her alone. There are a lot of things to be done today. However, the main thing he would do now was to meet Gilang.
Letting the matter drag on like this would only worsen the situation between them. It was time they talked about this long overdue matter before things got worse.
