The Hate That Ends Marriage

The Hate That Ends Marriage
Ends When Not Started

Gazing at the gawking, Gilang and his two friends stood silently looking at the departure of their friend, Radit, who ran like a gust of wind leaving the three of them. Reawakening himself, Gilang walked past Dimas to catch up with Radit who was already far from their sight. However, Dimas who was also already aware of his shock, pulled Gilang's arm to stop his steps.

"Where are you going?" tanyanya, hold Gilang away.

"Of course go after Radit. Didn't you say his wife and sister had an accident?" said Gilang asked back, feeling surprised by the behavior of Dimas blocking him following Radit.

"I did say that, but I hadn't finished my words yet" he replied, scratching his head.

"What do you mean?" asked Deni to join the pile.

"So, you mean, there's something else going on with Radit's wife and sister, other than an accident, is that it?" Glad to stare at his friend's confusion.

"It's not. Radit's wife and sister did have an accident, but they're fine. They just fell off the bike as a result of avoiding a collision with a passing cow" he explained. "I was going to say that, but Radit went away like a fool before I finished my words."

"It's your own fault, delivering news like bad news" Deni said.

"Yes. You should not say, 'There is bad news', just say directly that his wife and sister fell from the motorcycle, but did not suffer serious injuries," said Gilang advised.

"Yes, sorry. I was too panicked at the incident" said Dimas, bowed languidly.

"Yes, Radit knew for himself when he got there. Let's go there too to see what the situation is now like," Gilang asked his two friends.

"We just walk, we don't have to rush. I'm too tired to run again" said Dimas.

According to the will of his friend, Gilang walked casually with them to the scene of the accident. In his mind, Gilang was getting impatient to get there, he was very curious what his good friend's wife looked like. Perhaps that was why his steps were a bit rushed while walking.

Is she really as beautiful as everyone says?

It was then that he again remembered the beautiful girl he met in the bookstore today. His charming charm and graceful self-preservation really captivated Gilang. Perhaps there he will meet again with the beautiful girl, thought Gilang. A wide smile was engraved on Gilang's face when imagining that possibility.

Recalling among the gathered crowd, Gilang finally found Radit standing in the middle of the crowd, his friend standing facing a woman standing behind him. His long unravelled hair looked tangled, his posture somewhat shaky while talking to Radit. It was fortunate that Radit nimbly restrained his body from falling.

Not far from that place, Ririn who was still sitting on the ground was helped to stand by the other residents. Ridiculously, he even rampaged against those who helped him.

Astonished by Ririn's unnatural demeanor, Gilang listened to her conversation with the young man who remained insistent on helping her stand up, her tone so loud that it was clearly heard by everyone watching the incident.

"I told you, I can stand on my own! No need to help me. I'm fine!" ririn exclaimed in annoyance, dismissing the helping hand that pulled her up.

"Rilina!" radit snaps at his sister. "You are being helped, not being grateful, instead of behaving impolitely. Let someone help you."

Turning his eyes, Radit let out a sigh frustrated by his brother's childish attitude. Then a tiny white fingers pulled up Radit's sleeves to get his attention. The woman in front of him then walked to Radit's side, on her tiptoes as high as she could, she whispered something in Radit's ear.

While delivering his words, his eyes moved looking in all directions at all the people swarming around them. Until finally, the look in his eyes met a look with Gilang. That was when his eyes bought in shock when he looked at Gilang who was standing not far from them, his hand that covered his mouth as he whispered earlier now drooped limp beside him.

Having seen clearly the figure of a woman standing next to her friend, Gilang recognized her as the beautiful girl she had met in the bookstore some time ago. Rubbing his eyes together, Gilang tried to look back at the woman - who this time was back to him - with both eyes wide to see if he did not see wrong. However, seeing the attitude of the woman's body, which looks stiff from behind, proves to her that she is indeed the same girl in the bookcase.

"Well, that's Radit's wife. Beautiful, right?" whispered Deni in his ear. "I know you're fascinated by her beauty, but don't look at her for too long. Later on others can misunderstand if you see the way you look at it," Deni scolded, misinterpreting Gilang's flabbergasted gaze as a sense of amazement.

Listening to the reprimand, Gilang immediately came to his senses from his shock, and turned to look at Deni. He simply gave his friend a forced smile without saying a word. He was still too shocked by the harsh reality he saw now. Miris once her one-sided feelings ended before she started, Gilang told herself.

What a funny irony this is. It's ridiculous that I fell in love at first sight with my friend's wife.

"Thank God you're here." The voice of his friend Radit resuscitated Gilang from his daydream. "I put Ririn on you two. Please drag the boy home. I couldn't do it, because my wife was too shocked by today's events." His eyes glanced at his wife who was struggling in her bin. "So, I'll take her home first."

It seems that Radit's wife is avoiding looking at Gilang. He deliberately hid his face in Radit's chest.

"Go away. Me and Deni can take care of your sister, "clap Gilang on Radit's shoulder.

The clap, funny, shocked Radit's wife, because her body jumped a little in her friend's arms. Seeing that little gesture, Gilang held back his smile.

What a cute girl. Why is he even that tight? Is he afraid Radit would find out about his meeting with me? Hmmm, interesting.

"Thank you" Radit nodded and walked past him.

Calming himself, Widya hoped Radit would not hear the sound of her heartbeat beating fast. His heart felt faint when he realized Radit's friend he met at the Book House was in that place as well. And it feels, he also almost fainted when Radit approached his friend.

Silent in Radit's arms, he accidentally turns his face away from Radit's friend. At that time Widya waited in such a gripping tension, afraid that the man would tell of his meeting with Widya in the Book House. What she fortunately did not do, relieved Widya in her heart.

"Can't you just relax a little? If you tense up like this even makes you feel heavy," complained Radit, stopping his steps.

"That's why I said I could walk on my own two feet. It's wrong of you to act heroic by holding me like this" Widya replied in anger.

"If I don't carry you, you might fall unconscious. Don't be so strong, I know that your short legs are still shaking" Radit mocked.

"My legs aren't short, you good-ass giant!" the Hardik Widya ketus.

"If it's short, yes, it's short, you ingratitude dwarf!" Raising Widya's body slightly, Radit resumed his journey.
