Walking casually down the path to his farm, Radit accidentally runs into Gilang and Jendi, who are walking in opposite directions from him. Greeting each other, the three of them stopped their steps in the middle of the road while chatting.
"Where are you, Dit?" ask Joints.
"So I ran out of Grandma Yuli's house, just help replace a dead light bulb" Radit replied.
"You are yes, Dit, still have time to help people when you yourself have a lot of busyness," said Gilang, shaking his head in surprise. "Why didn't you become a social worker?"
His two friends laughed out loud imagining the thought.
"If I can still help, I can help. It's me you guys, want to help if you want to," ledek Radit, do not accept to be the subject of ridicule his two friends. "Where are you two going, you two? Don't-don't you guys...."
With a meaningful gaze, Radit implied that the two friends were in an illicit relationship.
"You think we're fuckin' guys, we're still normal" Joints protested loudly. "I have a girl I like anyway, which I might want to be with this butek."
"I don't want to be with you either, my taste is higher than this flea snail," replied Gilang, staring in disdain at Joints.
Radit did not expect that his joke even made his two friends argue with each other. Holding back his laughter, Radit tried to tear the two apart, which sprayed him instead. The two now turn their frustration to Radit, who has ignited a dispute between the two of them.
Linking his arms around his friend's neck, Radit told them to forget his jokes that had offended the self-esteem of his two friends. Releasing himself from his arms, the two muttered resentfully at Radit.
"Based on you two is a paperan, it's a direct emotion," Radit sneered at his two friends who were still grumbling. "Oh yeah, Lang, how's your dream girl doing, have you met her again?"
"What girl, I don't know?" confused Joints, his eyeballs flashed curiously.
"Lho Gilang no story yes, some time ago he said to meet his dream girl in the book warehouse" Radit explained.
Annoyed to learn the story, Jendi immediately launched an endless series of questions on Gilang. However, strangely, his friend just silently did not answer with a grim face. Radit who noticed Gilang's mood deteriorating, immediately stopped Joints from questioning his actions. He answered some of Joints questions so as to relieve a little curiosity of his friend.
"It's better not to talk about the woman again, she's not here anymore" Gilang said, cutting off the talk of Radit and Jendi.
Turning around at the same time, Radit and Jendi looked at her friend in shock from hearing the news. Simultaneously they asked questions about the meaning of Gilang's words just now. Gilang explained to them that the woman he met in the bookstore had never appeared there or anywhere else.
"So don't bring it up again, I've forgotten it." Might as well. "He's gone." I did not lie completely, in fact the village woman I met in the bookstore was gone, there was only a city woman who had become my friend's wife.
Patting lightly Gilang's back, both of them strengthen his friend from his heartbreak. Then suddenly Jendi patted Radit and Gilang on the shoulder while pointing towards the end of the road. There they saw Mila running with a determined expression and relief running towards the three of them.
Perhaps due to over exerting all her strength to run, Mila could not control her running speed so that when she almost got near them, she slipped down while stopping her running. Quickly, the three reached out in unison to help him stand up.
Glancing calculatingly at the three hands outstretched before him, Mila decided to grab Gilang's hand. Instantly it was also the expression of disappointment plastered clearly on Jendi's face.
"Why, Mil, did something happen?" Radit begins to ask, not knowing why he feels Mila has come to see him.
Every time he saw someone running towards him, Radit always felt it must be related to Widya. You could say it has become an indirect sign that bad things have happened to his wife again. Patiently, Radit waited for Mila to catch her breath, though in her heart she cried out in frustration waiting for what Mila would say to the three of them. In the depths of his heart, he still hoped that his conjecture was wrong.
"You have to go right now, Dit, it's there," pointed Mila in panic, "Widya is being attacked by two crazy women," he continued, his eyes round big with a flash of fear.
Without waiting any longer, Radit immediately headed to the place that Mila had pointed at him. While running he realized that Gilang was also beside him, he ran as fast as Radit. Even his facial expression when viewed well looked like someone full of worry. Radit who saw it was made confused by the reaction of his friend. What worries her, why does she look as worried as I am? Although surprised, Radit decided later to think about it, Widya now needs more attention. Given the urgency of his wife's situation, Radit increasingly accelerated his run.
Arriving there, Radit stared gawking at the sight before him. He did not know how to act, seen from any side, Widya did not experience the situation as Mila told him. Quite the contrary, the two crazy women - which Mila said earlier - look so shabby when compared to Widya. The hair of both men sticking out everywhere, even from where he stood Radit could listen to the rough insults thrown by Widya on the two women. Looking at Gilang who was standing glued next to him, Radit also realized that his friend was as confused as he was.
Shaking his head strongly, Radit immediately awakened himself from being stunned by Widya's toughness against the two women. This was not the time to feel astonished, all he had to do now was stop the fight. Moreover, so many people have come in groups to watch the show that his wife has presented it.
"Stop you guys there!" Radit's thunderous voice instantly stopped the dispute.
With steady steps, he walked threateningly closer to Widya and the two women. All eyes were on him in such a stifling silence. The few people who blocked his path immediately stepped aside to the side giving way to him. Even from a distance Radit could see the two women were seen trembling with his arrival. Only one person did not look daunted in the slightest, of course it was Widya. Both of his eyes flashed defiantly staring at Radit from where he stood firmly.
His appearance looked just as random as the two women. However, his hair did not shroud the two women before him. Who would have thought that with such a tiny body, Widya was able to fight both women who were bigger than her.
"What's really going on here?" radit's jaw hardened looking at the three fighters.
"Your wife started it, she attacked us first" said the tall woman, known as Radit Tika.
"Yes that's right, your crazy wife started the fight. If you don't believe it, just ask everyone here" said the woman with a rather excessive appearance, known as Radit Nita.
His surroundings instantly muttered in agreement by those words.
Wrapping his arm around Widya's shoulder, Radit jolted his wife tightly beside him. His attitude indirectly showed protection to Widya. Looking up startled by Radit's actions protecting her, Widya's eyes flashed in confusion looking at him.
"You shut up, let me take care of this," Radit whispered in Widya's ear.
"He lied! We never even provoked him. We had intended to invite her to a chat, but your wife was too sensitive just because of some conversation that touched her ego," elak Tika.
"What Tika said is true, your wife is sensational, she is indeed rude as everyone said. Look at this, Dit!" point Nita on her wrist that has a trace of a punch and scratches a person's nails. "This is what this crazy woman did, she hurt me!"
"You do deserve it" Widya said indifferently, looking at her face as showing the slightest guilt.
"Why!" radit warned.
"I'm telling you the truth, these two damn women do deserve to be beaten up!" widya was upset.
"Don't believe the talk, Dit, this woman's mouth is full of can't" hardik Tika.
In an instant, a fight between the three filled the streets again. The three recriminate in front of Radit. Massaging his temple, Radit tries to hold himself back from the frustrations of facing the fight back.
Mila, who arrived late to follow Radit, listened to the accusations that the two parties threw at Widya. Can not stay silent, Mila intends to intervene to defend her friend. However, his wrist was pulled by the Joints from behind.
"What are you doing, let go of me! Widya needed my help to defend her," said Mila, jerking her hands off the grip of Joints.
"Don't interfere, Mil," Joints warned. "Radit can solve it, your interference only exacerbates the problem."
"But" Mila was worried to see her friend cornered. "Okay, I'll obey you this time. However, if Radit takes the wrong action I will not hesitate to interfere."
"Agree," nod Joints.
Unable to remain silent any longer, Radit let go of the frustration he had been holding back.
"Enough you three!" his roar, shocked the three fighters.
The three stared in horror as Radit pursed his lips tightly forming a thin line. His eyes flashed furiously staring at the three of them in turn.
"Stop that rant of the three of you, aren't you ashamed to see so many people?" Stare growled. "You are adults, act as you are, don't fight like a child. And, you two stop talking about my wife. However she is still my wife, I will not forgive you for insulting her like that in front of me."
The two women trembled in fear at Radit's warning. Squeezing both of their hands, the two lowered their heads apologizing for offending Radit by insulting Widya in front of him.
"We admit we were wrong to insult your wife in front of you, but still she had to apologize to both of us" said Tika, forcing herself to look into Radit's eyes.
"True, Dit, he has to apologize to us, he's already hurt both of us." Nita is also against Widya.
"That must be sorry it's you, you shameless girl," Widya reproached, pursing her lips in mockery. "Don't be naive, just because a lot of people are insulting me, you think everyone will believe your foul talk."
"I'm sorry for the attitude of my wife who hurt you both" Radit said softly.
"Roman!" exclaim Widya angry.
"But" furious Radit looked at Widya. "My wife wasn't completely wrong, here you're not the only one who's hurt, my wife's hurt." Radit looked back at the two women. "I know my wife, she wouldn't attack someone if she didn't attack him first."
Putting on an arrogant look, Widya raised her chin back at the two women.
"You can defend your wrong wife, she's a terrible monster, you know, Dit!" exclaim Tika wrath.
"Stop chasing me!" radit shouted back. "I'm not defending him, I'm just telling him the truth."
"It turns out that what Bu Leni said is true, this venomous woman has turned you into just as bad as her," Tika's eyes widened in horror staring at Radit.
"Trust what you believe, I don't care" Radit said flatly. "I hope this doesn't happen again, so please stop bothering my wife."
After delivering the warning, Radit grabbed Widya's hand, quickly pulling Widya away from the place as quickly as possible. Unbeknownst to him, Widya turned from her shoulder to mock the two women. The smile of the ultimate victory on Widya's lips saw the expression gawking on the faces of her two enemies. And, just then Widya accidentally saw Gilang from among the crowd, a small smile curled on her lips looking at Widya.
