The Hate That Ends Marriage

The Hate That Ends Marriage
Feelings of Having

Pushing Radit's body that was holding him back from falling, Widya took a few steps back from him. He currently does not want to be close to or in contact with his cheating husband.

Though this afternoon Widya had decided to have a better relationship with Radit, but that was before she found the terrible object she found in her husband's jacket pocket.

After the return of Mila and Ririn that afternoon, Widya intended to tidy up Radit's clothes in the closet as well as check the condition of the closet shelf that she had been covering a few days ago. How surprised she was when she found the ring box in the pocket of her husband's jacket. A feeling of anger instantly filled her, imagining that her husband had a mistress out there that she did not know.

Wild thoughts began to rage in his mind. Radit's refusal to take her to the city turned into a suspicion that her husband was going to the city, not doing something work-related like he said, but to meet his mistress.

Widya suspects the affair came from Yogyakarta, where Radit worked first. Look surprised Radit earlier when he proposed the origin of the woman's affair was proving that his assumption is true. How dare she do this to him, wrathful Widya, staring resentfully at the desperate face of her well-known husband.

A thought suddenly sprung into his mind, it could have been that Radit's mistress was the lover he had before he married Widya. If that were true, it would only make him even more angry. Although this marriage was forced upon the two of them, Radit could not do this to her. It'swrong. They are now legal in the eyes of the law as a couple, whether he likes it or not, Widya will not tolerate infidelity in her marriage.

“Widya, are you listening to me?”

Returning her thoughts back to the current situation, Widya stared hatefully at Radit.

“Nothing I need to hear from your dusty mouth. Everything is so clear to me, you've been cheating behind my back!" Passing through her husband, Widya crossed the room to exit the room as fast as she could with her limping legs. “I'll report this to your father right now, let him know how far you're out there.”

Pulling his arm to face him, Radit forced Widya to look into both eyes. Trying to release Radit's grip on her arm impatiently, Widya could not match her husband's strength, no matter how strong she pulled his hand off, still no results.

Widya throws a piercing glint at Radit. If only her gaze could be pierced like a knife, maybe now her husband would be in pain with the sharp gaze he gave.

“I told you, don't touch me with your dirty hands!” shouted Widya.

Removing the grip from his arm, Radit grabbed Widya's two shoulders and shook her slightly to get her full attention.

“Quiet! Don't be hysterical like this. It's just a misunderstanding, I'm not having an affair like your silly guess.”

“Konyol, silly you said? I didn't just guess, the proof was there!” point Widya at the ring box lying on the corner floor of the room. “Do you wish I would trust that ring you kept for me to give? Don't be stupid, my husband, I'm not as stupid as you think. I won't believe anything that comes out of your mouth again!"

Now that Radit shook his body strongly, he stared in frustration at her. “Can you just calm down a little!? We will not solve this problem if you continue to be hysterical like this. So, please calm yourself!”

For a moment Widya thought about Radit's proposal, her chest still felt tightened by the feeling of wrath. However, there was no harm in listening to her husband's explanation, she thought, after calming herself down for a moment. Maybe this is a misunderstanding like Radit said earlier, although he seems to doubt it, but hopefully it is true. At least it would take away the feeling of betrayal he felt now.

Sensing Widya's resistance had diminished, Radit loosened his grip from his shoulder.

Sighing in relief, Radit let Widya walk past him to sit on the bedside.

“Talk from there!" Widya's hand was raised stopping Radit from stepping closer to her. "I don't want to be close to you right now. Just tell me what you want to say from there.”

“Good.” Thudding, he stared straight at Widya's eyes from a distance. “You are right, the ring is not for you. I intend to give it to someone else.” Raising his hand, Radit stopped the words that wanted to come out of Widya's mouth. “Listen to completion first! I'm not done yet,” Radit's orders firmly.

Widya frowned, her lips tightly clenched to form a thin line, showing her displeasure with the order.

“But...”.

“Of course, there is a tapi,” murmured Widya mockingly.

Ignoring his ridicule, Radit continued, “That was first. For years, I had intended to give the ring to someone. To be honest, I've forgotten that I still keep it.” His tired gaze was directed at Widya. “Until you find it.”

“Omong empty! There's no way you can forget a ring that looks like a proposal ring just like that" Widya hardik.

“Then believe what you want to believe. The point is, I've been honest with you. I don't have another girl out there, I just have you.”

Widya's heart suddenly clashed to hear Radit's last confession. How ridiculous! Why at a time like this should my heart be pounding, he exasperated. Ignoring her excitement, Widya remained silent for a long time, trying to calm her heart beat.

“If what you say is true, still it does not change the reality you still keep memories of your past in this house. Just so you know, I don't tolerate a third person among us. You are cheating!”

Crossing the room, Radit stood looming before him. “I've had no problem when you call me, Tyranny, Barbarians, Unemployment, and some nicknames you've given me, but I won't forgive you if you call me 'Attacker'. I'm not like that!” furious Radit, shook his body to show his regret.

Observing the earnest glare that flashed in Radit's eyes, Widya now realized that her husband had indeed not lied to her. All the suspicious feelings that had been haunting his mind had now overflowed, replaced by a feeling of relief and dizziness. Her head suddenly felt swirling, probably because she had not had lunch, plus the shock her husband was giving her now.

Hitting Radit's hand that firmly gripped his upper arm, Widya looked at him with equal fury. “I understand. I'm sorry, if I've offended your high self-esteem. But, can you please not shake my body like this, it feels like I want to vomit.”

Pulling off his hand, Radit's eyes flashed with guilt. “Sorry, I didn't mean that. It's your fault anyway! Next time, don't accuse me of that again. Do you understand?”

“Yes, yes, yes, I admit wrong. I will not accuse you like that again,” Widya said, replying to Radit's plot.

Standing up, Widya ruffled her waist in front of Radit. “One more thing you should know, I will not forgive you, if you secretly dare to think of another girl, even if only a little. Because it's the same way you cheated on me.”
