Seeing Radit's mouth agape wide, Widya suddenly laughed out loud as she began to understand what was really happening.
"God! You think I ran away from home? How's it possible?" widya's eyes glittered amusedly looking at Radit.
"If you didn't run away, why wasn't your suitcase in your room? And also what do you think of going here from dawn to dusk like this ? So it's only natural that I thought you ran away."
"If you are careful and not easily prejudiced, as you often always do," Widya criticized in a mocking tone, "you will realize that none of my clothes are missing in my closet. And, as for my suitcase, it's under my bed. Then what were you saying, I haven't been home since dawn ? That's ridiculous, I'm home."
"Then, you mean I've misunderstood?"
"It seems so," Widya replied, shrugging her shoulders. "We'd better talk about this while walking home, my body feels itchy because it hasn't taken a shower."
Leaving her legs behind Radit to close the door of the bookstore by herself, Widya stretched her body while waiting for Radit to put the doorstop outside. The two of them walked together to return home.
"Oh, it was appropriate that this afternoon I did not find food at the dinner table," Widya said, clapping her hands. "I guess you did it on purpose because of my attitude of not eating your food last night, but it turns out...."
Widya again laughed out loud next to Radit. His hand patted Radit's back hard while looking at him with sparkling eyes.
"Stop laughing at me!" Radit scowled in annoyance. "It's all your fault for having the habit of running away every time there's a problem, so it's no wonder that this time I also thought you were running away because of our argument last night."
"I'm not that stupid to repeat the same mistake. Just once I get a terrible punishment from you."
This time Radit's sparkling eyes looked at Widya. "Come on, it's not that scary, I know you enjoy it too. Even I still remember your eyes were closed when I...."
Widya quickly smothered Radit's mouth with her hands, her head turned left and right, making sure no one was listening to their conversation.
"Damn you! Don't bring up the night again" Widya sissed.
Pushing Widya's hand from her mouth, Radit raised his eyebrows. "Why not? No need to be ashamed of that, this is not a conversation that you have to cover up. Remember, we're married."
"You and the words 'We're Married'" Widya grumbled softly.
Not wanting to continue their chatter anymore, Widya walked quickly leaving Radit giggling amusedly behind her. In a matter of seconds, Radit was already beside her again while hooking Widya's hand on her arm, a sweet smile etched on her face that was so annoying.
"Of course I remember it" Radit said cheerfully. "If you have a good memory, My Beloved Wife, surely you will also remember your secret encounter with Gilang, my friend in the bookstore."
Those last words made Widya's head look up quickly at Radit, her eyes twitching as she looked at Radit. Seeing Widya's shock reaction made Radit clasped his hand that was wriggling inside her arm so tightly.
"You owe me an explanation."
"I don't mean to lie to you" Widya said, looking down at the street.
After entering the house of the two of them, Widya quickly released her hand from Radit's arm. He tried to run away from Radit by making excuses that his body really felt so sticky. Unfortunately, Radit's hand is faster than him, he pulls Widya's collar to make her unable to escape.
Sighing in frustration, Widya curled softly as her body jolted backwards. Reversing his body, he stared intently at Radit's eyes so boldly.
"I did it for your own good."
"How am I doing?" Radit crossed his face while frowning.
"Do you need to ask? Of course it's for your own good and that of your friend" Widya replied, raising her chin haughty. "This is the risk of having a wife as beautiful as me, just a little careless, you will see so many men fascinated by me, not least your own friends."
Widya plucked her finger in front of Radit with such a haughty attitude. His confident attitude towards his appearance resulted in Radit being flabbergasted to be unable to say anything.
"But, you take it easy, I've solved this problem. Well it might take a long time for your friend to forget me, although I'm not surprised anyway."
"Gee!" radit exclaimed, shaking his head in astonishment.
Nodding her head, Widya patted Radit on the shoulder. "I hope your friendship with your friend is not fractured because of this problem. It would be a shame if you had a big fight over me." Widya chuckled at the thought of Radit and Gilang's quarrel in her mind. "I'm enough to always attract the attention of the citizens here, you don't follow along too. It will only make us branded as a couple who like to make trouble by everyone in this village."
"At least you are quite self-conscious that all this time you really like to make trouble."
"Even though I am always involved in fights, you must remember that I did not do it intentionally" Widya said, shaking her finger in front of Radit's face. "Citizens here are too sensitive. Well, my husband, if you will, your beautiful wife please step down first."
Stepping back, Widya immediately turned away quickly before Radit stopped her again.
