The Hate That Ends Marriage

The Hate That Ends Marriage
Unexpected Action

Sipping warm tea from her cup, Widya listened to the sound of someone opening her door. Glancing at the wall clock above his television cabinet, he was confused by Radit's rapid return.

Is there anything left?

Still sitting in his place, he saw Radit walking down the corridor while carrying various plastic packages in both hands. From the look in her eyes that looked at Widya, she realized that her husband was as surprised as she was. Perhaps he was surprised to find Widya had woken up earlier than usual that morning.

Kissing something fishy, Widya soon finds out that Radit has just returned from his shopping event at the market. Last night he found out that their side dish stock had run out in the fridge. Maybe that's why Radit today went to the market first before leaving for work, Widya thought in her mind. Especially when he woke up earlier, Widya was a bit confused not to see food on the dining table, but at that time he suspected that Radit was a bit hit so decided not to cook.

"Are you going to sit there and brew your tea without any thought of helping your husband carry groceries?" satir Radit raised his eyebrows while lifting the plastic wrap in both hands.

"Your ability is more than enough to carry the groceries alone, do not be spoiled." Turning her attention back to the television show she was watching, Widya ignored the piercing glare Radit threw at her.

"Who is spoiled here exactly? Whoever is looking, knows that the spoiled one is you" Radit grumbled, galloping towards the kitchen.

Holding back her smile, Widya pretended not to listen to her husband's grunt. In fact, she was very grateful to have a husband like Radit, who wanted to shop alone in the market and never forced her to come with him. And he was very aware of what caused Radit never invited him to go there.

What an understanding husband.

Turning off the television, Widya immediately moved out of her seat to help Radit compile his groceries. The two of them immediately shared their duties. Radit prepares ingredients for cooking, while Widya cleans up the scattered garbage and washes the equipment used by Radit cooking.

After eating, Radit immediately prepared to leave for work. However, before leaving she helps Widya change her bandages first. During that time, Radit was too focused on his task of carefully opening Widya's bandages so that he had no desire to start the conversation. Therefore, Widya took the initiative to invite Radit to talk to fill the silence between the two of them.

"Yesterday because you came home a little night after your meeting with your father, I was unable to discuss your quarrel with Ms. Leni. I heard you guys were fighting because you stood up for me, huh? Cieee," Widya's tease nudges Radit's shoulder.

"Don't big head first. I'm not defending you, I just can't help myself anymore from that shitty Bu Leni babble" Radit replied flatly.

"Oh, so. I don't think that's true" Widya replied skeptically.

"Trust what you want to believe, I don't care" Radit said indifferently. "Well, it's done! Where's my pay?" her message reached out expecting something from Widya.

"Even if you have never asked for it, but as a good wife, it would be nice to return your husband's kindness without being asked, my dear Wife," Radit said, smiling mockingly.

"Unfortunately, this wife of yours is not as good a wife as you might imagine, O Preacher's Husband," Widya replied, smiling wryly.

Instead of feeling upset, Radit was instead pleased by Widya's reply to her innuendo. The corner of his lips lifted into a joyful smile.

"All right, I expected it. Then, get your beloved husband to the front door," she asked, pulling Widya up from her seat.

"Hmph! Loved, what," Widya, let Radit herd her to their doorstep.

Releasing Widya's hand from her grasp, Radit stood straight facing her as he stretched out his hand asking for a hug from Widya before going to work. Exasperatedly seduced constantly, Widya turned Radit's body back to the door, and told him to leave immediately.

Turning his head over his shoulder, Radit put on a disappointed expression. "Just a hug, what's the trouble?"

"Don't keep teasing me, there's work!" Push it with all his might on Radit's body that remained unmoved where he stood. "God! What are you doing?" Scrambling his waist, Widya gave an angry glance at Radit who turned his back to face him.

Without feeling guilty, Radit smiled broadly at her. "I just remembered you owe me something." Her face shriveled in pain as she showed Widya's bite marks on her arm yesterday. "At least I deserve a kiss from you for your bloody bite yesterday."

"What kind of empty tooth came out of your mouth? Kiss, are you crazy!" cetus Widya.

"I understand." Suppose understand. "Because you don't want to give me a kiss, then I'll kiss you."

Just as fast as that sudden remark, Radit immediately kissed Widya's cheek before he could respond. Smiling satisfied, Radit turned around leaving Widya— who was frozen in place—while whistling merrily.

Gawking at the door that closed in front of him, Widya held her cheek that had been frowned upon by Radit. Feeling both of her cheeks warm up, shaking her head, Widya made herself aware of her shock. His voice faltered in his throat, unable to make the slightest sound.

It's insane! That barbarian just kissed me! Does he like me? No way! We don't like each other. Is it possible that he did that to tease me again?

So many various kinds of allegations raged in his head, and all those allegations only made Widya feel more and more like her face was getting heated up. Decided to forget the incident, he did not want Radit to know that his act of pecking his cheek had made him dazed.
