The Hate That Ends Marriage

The Hate That Ends Marriage
After the Wind, a Cyclone

Nothing goes well for him every day. Whatever he did, nothing could make him happy. Even when it comes to work, there are problems. No one understands him. At the moment Gilang feels he is at the lowest point of his life.

Glad to know, he shouldn't blame this shitty situation on anyone. There's no point in denying it, it's all self-inflicted.

His mood was always bad after he was hostile to his good friend, Radit. That's why he expressed his frustration to everyone around him.

Maybe he should have never come back to this village. That way there will be no accidental meeting between her and Widya, which fosters this sense of liking to grow as time passes. However, it was just empty hope. It seemed, his friendship with Radit was indeed destined to be destroyed like this.

This sickening state and bad mood will never disappear, unless he tries to reconcile with Radit and confess his guilt. Unfortunately, this stupid self-esteem of his did not allow him to do that. The man and his self-esteem are annoying, Gilang thought grimly.

No, I can't keep doing this. However, I have to repair my friendship with Radit. Being cold like this will only hurt us both, given the friendship that has been established for so long between their parents.

Already established with his decision, Gilang finally decided to meet Radit directly on his farm. However, in the middle of the road he accidentally crossed paths with Widya, who was walking slowly with her head lowered to the ground.

Why is he walking like that? Is he looking for something that fell? No, no, don't be curious, Gilang! You just decided to make peace with Radit, which means, no longer involve yourself with his wife.

Although he was determined to ignore Widya, unfortunately, his mouth was of another will. Without being able to stop him, his mouth had already said something to Widya

"What are you looking for?" tanyanya, standing right in front of Widya.

A step too late, maybe Widya will hit him. It seemed like his mind was being unfocused so as not to notice what was in front of him.

But there was something strange that caught Gilang's attention, he saw Widya's posture became stiff when he heard her voice. And, he took a step back with his head lowered.

"I'm sorry, if I've surprised you" she said gently, taking a step back so as not to scare Widya. "I just want to help. I saw you were busy looking for something, so I approached you to offer help."

There's no answer. Then, Widya's head shook strongly, still lowered. Waving her hand an expelling sign, Widya walked past her in a hasty step.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Gilang pulled Widya's wrist, stopped her. "Why did you lower your head like that? Did something happen to you? If you have a problem, just tell me, maybe I can help you."

This time Widya no longer lowered her head, she this time turned her face away from Gilang.

"It's none of your business!" he answered raucously, pulling off Gilang's grasp from his wrist. "I don't need anyone's help, so leave me alone."

Silang ignored the warning, forcing Widya to turn to face him. That's when she realized that Widya was crying. His eyes look red, former teardrops look wet both cheeks.

"You crying?"

"I'm not crying!" elaknya, brusquely brushed both hands Gilang from his shoulder. "Stop bothering me!"

"Siapa yang telah membuatmu menangis, katakan padaku!" perintah Gilang, merasa begitu marah mengetahui ada seseorang yang telah menyakiti Widya. "Apa ada yang menyerangmu lagi, atau Tika mengganggumu lagi?"

"Good move if that's the case. At least I won't be as hurt as this" Widya murmured softly. "I'm warning you, don't bother me anymore! I'm being bullied by anyone, it's none of your business. Right now I want to be alone. Your existence only worsens my mood."

"But...."

Widya threw a murderous look at him, as she intended to follow him.

Standing speechless in his place, Gilang looked at Widya's departure, who was currently stepping fast, like one being chased by a demon. After he thought carefully, Widya said there was a point as well, it was none of his business. Finally, he resumed his steps, going to Radit's farm.

Although he repeatedly convinced himself not to care about Widya's problem, still the sad look on Widya's face was still in the shadows in his mind.

As he approached Radit's farm, this time Gilang accidentally crossed paths with Nadin, who was running with a teary face, heading towards him. As he opened his mouth about to ask, Nadin instead passed by, without saying a word.

Before long, he saw Ririn riding her motorcycle, approaching towards him. Without a second thought, Gilang jumped into the middle of the road, blocking Ririn from passing through.

"Right now I have no time to serve Bang Gilang's rant, so, now get out of my sight!" drive Ririn, get the gas back.

"You can't leave, before you tell me what's going on!" tell Gilang, hold the front of Ririn's motor to stop it. "Some time ago, I met Widya, in the same situation as Nadin. Did something happen between the two of them?"

"If Bang Gilang wants to know so much, just ask Bang Radit. All this chaos was caused by his reckless behavior," Ririn grumbled. "He's the one who's making trouble, uh, even I'm told to clean up."

"God, stop asking me questions! I'm in a hurry. If Bang Gilang invites me to talk, I'll lose track of Brother Nadin."

"Why should Nadin? What about Widya?"

With a nimble gesture, which she had trained for many years, Ririn skillfully turned her motor to avoid bumping into Gilang who was blocking her way.

Having just finished bathing, from inside the hut, Radit heard a rowdy sound coming from outside. Who else this time made a scene? With wide steps, Radit opened the door of his cottage to see what had happened out there causing a commotion.

"What storms...."

Radit could not finish his words when a fist landed on his face. Falling to the floor, Radit touched the corner of his lips that were bleeding from the powerful blow. Today, he had already gotten a crushing blow on his leg and on his face. Later, what else?

Turning his head, Radit was shocked and confused when he saw the perpetrator who had hit him. The fray maker turned out to be Gilang, who was currently being held back by Deni.

What the hell is he doing here? What made him throw his fist at me, without this kind of cue?

After recovering from his shock, Radit stood up, then thrust a not less powerful fist into the face of his former friend. Inevitably, all the workers who had been watching immediately ran up to him to restrain him, just like Deni did to Gilang.

"Take me off! Let me punch my fist at this jerk!" shouted Gilang, trying his hardest to break away from Deni's grip on him. "It was so stupid of me to think of meeting you here to apologize. It was fortunate that before arriving, someone had awakened me from my stupidity."

"It's exactly the jerk here that's you! Come straight punching people's faces, "reply Radit wrathfully, managed to release himself from the grip of his workers.

Once again, Radit thrust his fist into Gilang's face. But, Gilang did not just shut up, he also returned the blow. Just contact the workers and Deni desperately catch them both so as not to return to fight each other jontos more.

"Stop fighting! You can talk about this very well" Deni said, giving the two of them as much distance as possible. "I don't know what got into you, Lang, but you have to apologize to Radit."

"I don't want to apologize to that despicable human," Gilang refused, spitting on the ground. "A dog*n guy like himself doesn't deserve anyone's forgiveness."

"You have no right to call me that! The despicable here you are, the basic seductress of the wife of men!" reply Radit, lifting his leg trying to kick Gilang. "Everyone here should know what you really are."

"I've never flirted with your wife, you slanderer!" sizzle Gilang, gritting his teeth. "You should be reading to yourself! Look what you did to your wife. You cheated on her in front of her own eyes! Not enough to get there, you also ask your sister to take care of your affair, instead of asking her to take care of your wife."

"Know what are you so daring to criticize me like that, just because based on what you see, huh?" sahut Radit, growling furiously. "You don't know what really happened, so don't you dare judge me! And, as for what I asked my sister for, it's none of your business."

"Radit's right, Lang. Everything you see is not what you think" Deni said, defending him.

"You shut up, Den! Just because he's your best friend, you don't have to defend him in any situation. If he is wrong, yes, wrong," hardik Gilang, flashed a cynical look. "Everything I saw and heard, it was enough to explain to me, what this real jerk looks like. I won't believe a word, spoken from your mouth, or from this damn thing."

"You don't want to believe what Deni says, you just refuse to believe. Because what you see and hear from gossipers is more profitable for you, "scoffs Radit, looking down on him. "Let's just say, you're trying to take advantage of this fight to get Widya back, you hypocrite."

"Fuck you, Dit! I'm not as low as you think."

Pulling his arm rough from the grip of the person holding him, Radit walked closer towards Gilang while patting his shoulder casually.

"Consider what you believe. I don't care what you think of me." Radit glanced at his friend, Deni. "Don't let this man go before I reach my house. I don't want him blocking my way to see my wife at home."

Then, he stepped away from Gilang, who was thrashing, trying to escape the support of all his workers.

"Where are you going? I'm not done talking to you, damn you!" shouted Gilang, his voice shrill like an eagle flying in the sky. "All of you, let me go!"

"Shut up, Gilang! Let Radit solve his household problems. Don't interfere!" snapped Deni, annoyed by Gilang's meddling attitude, which was out of place.

Great, Dude. The troublemaker must be made aware of his brash behavior.

His debate with Gilang could wait. Now his main priority is to resolve the misunderstanding between himself and Widya.

Imagining Widya who was crying in her bedroom, really hurt her heart. Radit could not let Widya dissolve in her grief any longer.
