"There's.." Bian replied while looking at his two best friends.
Adel and Adnan looked surprised when they heard it firsthand. The two of them looked at each other at Bian's words.
"Ada?" Shocked Adel. "What?" He came back curious.
"You curious?" Ask Bian back.
"Well, who knows if I can help, right?" Adel tried to convince.
"Seriously? I'm not sure you can hear this?" especially here is Adnan!." Bian looked at Adel.
His slightly ambiguous words made Adel and Adnan feel confused, also a little wondering, especially for Adnan himself who felt incomprehensible about Bian's speech.
"What does this have to do with Adnan here?" Ask Adel curious.
"Before I answer, I want to return your necklace that I borrowed earlier." Bian replied, then gave Adel's necklace which he had brought earlier.
"Oh, you've changed the chain." He received his necklace. "But there is no need to return the gapapa, because I don't need it anymore either." Adel said he was no longer interested in his necklace.
Adel's reply left Bian speechless. There was a hint of disappointment there, and his expression seemed to give a picture.
"You still have that necklace?" Ask Adnan who is interested in the padlock necklace that is being held by Adel.
"Yes, I still keep it. I don't remember and want to throw it away, suddenly Bian said he wanted to borrow it, so. well I tried to find it again." Answer Adel.
"I didn't think you'd borrow Adel's necklace?" Adnan said a little surprised at Bian. "Did? why are you so interested in that necklace, try it? Yesterday too, you thought my necklace had Adel.?" Said Adnan again, who was rather curious.
"Well! till so? how did I just know?" Adel said somewhat surprised to hear the words of Adnan. He looked back at his usual-looking necklace.
"Yes, yesterday at the park, I was gonna wear a necklace, and Bian thought it was yours." Adnan again.
Bian just silently heard various questions from his two best friends.
"Actually, I don't know either. The question just crossed, because the necklace is unique in my opinion." Answer Bian later.
"Unique? why don't I like the necklace, huh?" Adel said he disagreed.
"Don't like it?" Bian was a little surprised to hear those words from Adel. "You don't like the necklace?" Ask again to make sure.
"Yes, I don't really like it, because the design is a bit old-fashioned." Adel replies, putting his necklace back in a box.
"But that's your legacy from the orphanage?" Reply Bian.
Adel suddenly fell silent as soon as Bian mentioned about his foster home first.
"Stop my necklace, you haven't answered me about my question? what problem are you having again? and again think about what makes you not excited like this?" Adel said to shift the conversation quickly.
"Nothing, just feeling tired about work." Reply to Bian calmly.
Bian's answer got an annoyed look from Adel who was worried about him.
"You are a child, you can joke like this.!" Rutuk Adel was upset.
Bian just smiled looking at Adel's annoyed face, and he could only resignedly get a small blow from Adel who happened to be sitting next to him.
The interaction of the two can not be separated from the view of Adnan who sits between them. He was speechless and could only divert to the drink in front of him.
"Is your problem in India over?" Ask Adnan later.
"Not yet." Answer Bian briefly.
"Yet? why are you going home?" Ask Adel.
"There's something I have to make sure of now, so I'm going home." Bian replied as he looked towards Adel.
"Yes, about your heart..." Bian said calmly as he looked at Adel.
His sudden speech, made Adel and Adnan a little surprised when he heard it. And instantly, the atmosphere between the three became silent and a little awkward.
Adnan felt that he was in a difficult situation, he was even fixated until it was difficult to move his body.
On the other hand, Adel who suddenly got recognition from Bian was a little surprised and often felt uncomfortable, especially at Adnan.
"Bi.." He then looked at Bian.
However, he could not continue his words back, let alone Adnan beside him. Several times Adel always bit his lips that feel stiff to just open his mouth.
Suddenly Adnan stood up from his seat. Trying to give time to both.
"I'll go first, yeah... Let's get you guys to talk deeper.." Adnan said he tried to control his expression, then said goodbye to Bian and Adel. He smiled looking at the two.
"Nan, you're the one..."
"Relax Del, actually I have other needs." Adnan said to calm Adel down.
"It just so happens that Bian will talk to you. So, I go first so you can have a casual chat. I'm saying yes.." Say it again, and walk away. While passing behind Bian's back, he patted her on the shoulder to encourage his best friend, even though the actual corner of his heart hurt a little. But he still supports his best friend.
Only Adel felt panicked after being left by Adnan. He did not dare to look Bian in the eyes, and often hid his awkwardness by drinking the drink in front of him.
"Drink mine." Said Bian giving his drink to Adel, who looked like he was running out of drinks.
Adel accepted it awkwardly. For some reason, the Bian he was facing right now looked different. His expression looked serious and full of maturity, making an awkward Adelia.
"Bi.." Call Adel then, who tries to break the awkwardness.
"Hem.." Reply Bian briefly in a soft tone staring at Adel.
"What did that mean, what did it mean?" Ask Adel pretending not to understand.
"So? which one is it?" Ask Bian back.
"Bye..." Adel said with an expression demanding Bian seriously.
"Oh that one." Said later. "I'm just asking for clarity, can't I?" He smiled at Adel.
"Bi, but..."
"Why? is it because I'm not ready yet?" Ask Adel. "I waited a long time to say this again." Reciprocity.
Adel bowed to hear it, he was a little confused to answer what now, to Bian who looked at him full of assertiveness from himself.
"You say the problem is not finished yet, are you going to go back there?" Ask Adel.
"Yes, I'll come back after getting an answer from you." Answer Bian firmly.
Again Adel was surprised by Bian's courage, and also his firmness. However, he remembered this moment in America. The moment Bian shot him, before going to Canada.
"When are you going to get back from Jogja?"
"Well, maybe 2 weeks or maybe 1 month at the most?." Bian replied unsure. "Well, until the hotel really doesn't matter anymore." Further.
Adel fell silent, he hesitated a bit before continuing his words.
"Well, did I answer until you came home?"
Bian fell silent, then tried to smile when he heard it. He felt dejavu with his memories of his time in America, then looked towards Adel who was sitting next to him. This time, however, he remained silent, not answering.
