Chapter 78

Ruruko Nimura is a first-year high school student at Kuoh Academy and one of the Pion Sona Sitri. Ruruko, by chance, happens to know about Sona and her slaves as demons and voluntarily asks to be reincarnated into her slaves. Sona did and she joined OSIS in the process.

Ruruko is a short girl with brown hair in long twin ponytails and green eyes. She wears a pair of green clips in her hair and she also wears striped green stockings.

Ruruko has a crush on Genshirou Saji and her crush on him begins when she starts giving him a lot of help once he starts doing the OSIS job. He has a hot desire to solve problems through violence, rather than negotiation. So when he checked that Saji was not breathing after receiving Kisuke's attack, he had already come to a conclusion. Poking his fist, he rushed towards Kisuke with a hateful expression, "YOU'RE RIGHT!!!"

Kisuke dodged by avoiding and taking out his wand. Ruruko wanted to turn around to rush towards him again, but just as she turned the tip of Kisuke's wand hit her forehead with enough force for her to lie on the ground with her back, "Kuh..."

Kisuke flipped forward, landing near Ruruko's head which held the tip of her wand just a few millimeters from her face. Ruruko tried to stand up but found her entire body pinned to the ground, 'I can't move!' He looked towards Kisuke who was now wearing a blank expression, looked down on him and fear finally started to crawl over him as he saw strange energies coming from his staff. It was like a sharp sword was about to fall onto his face killing him in the process.

Kisuke only uses a Zanjutsu technique called Shitonegaeshi (Cushion Return), which aims to subdue opponents and incapacitate them on the ground using force alone. Kisuke suspends the tip of his wand a few millimeters from his opponent's face after he hits them.

"Rukes!!!" When the members of Sona's slaves saw that Ruruko was now in danger, they all took out their respective weapons and most of them rushed towards Kisuke to help Ruruko, but they stopped their steps when an unexpected person entered between them.

"Koneko!?" Rias, Akeno and Issei shouted as they woke up from their fainting. In just a few seconds, many things happened so they were not even able to react properly.

"What does this mean? Koneko Toujou! We know that you are very close to him, but we will not let him go for killing Saji and holding Ruruko hostage! Even if you are from the slaves of Rias-sama! " Without Sona and Tsubaki, Momo Hanakai acted as their current leader. He is a second-year high school student at Kuoh Academy and one of the Bishops of Sona. And he was angry that one of his precious comrades did not breathe after being hit by Kisuke's palm and the other was pinned to the ground by the same assailant with a terrified expression on his face. He also panicked because he did not know how he would explain this to Sona. And now that one of the members of Rias' slaves was blocking their way to save Ruruko, she had almost lost her mind.

"Coneko! What are you doing!?" Rias shouted and was about to drag him away.

"Please calm down, all of you. Genshirou-senpai is not dead. He's not even hurt that much." Koneko spoke with her flat expression and slowly walked past the group and towards the unconscious Saji. He ignored everyone's gazes and used the coercion technique Yoruichi taught him which suppressed those around him using only his aura.

Everyone in Rias' group was also dumbfounded at Koneko's pressure. 'What a fuck!' And they all have the same thoughts.

Koneko reached the unconscious Saji and crouched down. Tsubasa Yura, who was left behind to keep Saji from wanting to block him but was unable to move from his place due to the unknown pressure he released, "What are you doing!?"

Koneko ignored him and raised her left hand, "Eyy." He dropped it off, slapped Saji in the chest. After that, Saji coughed and regained consciousness. He looked around in bewilderment and noticed everyone's dumbfounded expression staring at him, "What happened?"

Saji hears it and everything comes back to him now. He made one strike into the solar plexus from Kisuke's palm and launched into the air. Before he touched the ground, he had already fainted, "I lost." Saji let out a long sigh and became frustrated with his own weakness.

"Saji-senpai!" It is unknown when Kisuke released Ruruko and she rushed over to the awakened Saji, hugging her while crying.

"Ruruko-chan!? What's going on?" Saji does not know what to do and looks around to seek help and try to understand the situation, but he realizes that everyone still has the same dumbfounded expression, 'Really! What the hell's going on?'

Kisuke, who had been silent all this time suddenly spoke up, "Then, Gremory-san. Please hold up the bet we just made."

They all looked at him with complicated expressions as he cleaned his school uniform. It took Rias a while to answer him, "I will definitely do it."

Yoruichi jumped onto Kisuke's head again, "Since we're done here, I'll leave if you don't mind."

Momo Hanakai wanted to stop her and apologized for what happened before but did not know what to say so she hesitated. Just as he was about to call out to her, Kisuke suddenly stopped walking and turned to face all of them.

"Right, I forgot to say it." Kisuke looked at everyone before smiling, "Since I've already revealed myself like this, I don't want to peek at my house or shop anymore. And no longer investigating the people around me." Kisuke then focused his gaze on Rias and Akeno, "I let you do it early because you were only worried about Koneko-chan and no real damage was done, but I won't allow it anymore. My house cat is getting restless you know~."

Rias and Akeno narrowed their eyes and thought, 'Isn't she too self-centered just because she can fight a little better than the others?'

Rias opened her mouth and said, "And what if we don't listen to you? You may not know, but I'm the superintendent of this city and someone dangerous because you can't get off my radar."

Kisuke's smile deepened and said, "I don't care if you're the supervisor, the Mayor, or the Demon King's younger sister, but I've already given my promise, so please don't just ignore it."

As he finished his words, pressure suddenly enveloped them except for Issei, Asia, and Koneko and they almost fell to the ground.

"All I can say is you won't like it."
