Chapter 217

"AHAHAHA!!! GREAT!" Kokabiel caught the snake with his fangs and he was dragged several tens of meters before stopping. Sona and Akeno's magic might be weaker than Rias individually, but when combined and in addition to the element's compatibility, it made Kokabiel the most depressed since the start of this fight.

As powerful as it was, it was just enough to burn Kokabiel's hand a little, "Only this?" After saying that, Kokabiel tore the snake in two with just his bare hands and the snake slowly disappeared into the air, "...N-can't be..." Sona and Akeno said simultaneously. The two of them looked towards Aika and realized that she was closing her eyes and a strange aura was emitting from her. They also realized that Koneko had already disappeared from her position and they suddenly heard Kokabiel's startled voice, "What!?"

They looked back and saw Kokabiel flying backwards and crashing into the wall of the school building, passing through it and hitting the barrier. He coughed up blood and they all saw Kokabiel's chest collapsing, 'What just happened!?' All of them asked inside their heads.

"Coneko!" Rias's voice woke them up and looked at the former place where Kokabiel was standing just now. Koneko, in her nekomat form, was lying on the ground unconscious with blood coming out of her hole. Asia, who was already crying, hurriedly ran to her place to immediately heal her.

What had happened just a few microseconds after Kokabiel tore apart Sona and Akeno's magic, Koneko, in her nekomata form with her ears and tail trapped in white flames, Flash Stepping in front of Kokabiel. Koneko threw a punch and normally, Kokabiel could easily block it but to her surprise, her fists instantly accelerated and reached her chest. The attack resulted in his chest collapsing and his lungs being quite crushed.

Koneko's attack is not an ordinary punch but the Hakuda technique Yoruichi taught him called Ikkotsu (Single Bone) which focuses all of its power into his fist and transfers it to the target's body to destroy it. Yoruichi taught him this to serve as a secret technique that he could use in difficult times. Even though he did such great damage to Kokabiel, he had yet to master his technique at all, resulting in his entire right arm that he was using was invalid and could not kill Kokabiel who originally did not have a strong defense.

After such an attack, Koneko fell unconscious and convulsed with blood all over her face. Her internal injuries worsened and the failed use of Ikkotsu made her worse. Asian healing was helpful but it was just enough to keep his condition from further deterioration.

"Well! Huh!" Kokabiel coughed up blood and his body had already begun to heal. Although it looked solemn from its wound, it was far from fatal to a creature of its calibre. He looked at Koneko in surprise after examining her injuries, "What was that?" Still can't believe what just happened Kokabiel asked. He could not understand how he was suddenly injured and the power of the punch was out of the charts for a Low-class Devil like him.

Kokabiel wants to finish off Koneko because she feels threatened by him but before she can do so, other things catch her attention and those around her.

The air around Aika became heavy and started to swirl. The next moment, a pillar of bluish-white light rose from him and his tattered school uniform slowly turned into black-and-white clothes. Clothing consists of white shitagi, black and hakama kosode, a pair of white tabi, a pair of waraji, and a white obi (waistband). Shihakusho, the uniform worn by all Shinigami of the Gotei 13. Along with his transformation, a two-meter-long nodachi appeared behind him.

What shocked the people around him, however, was not his appearance or his nodachi, but the aura he was emitting right now. It was far from the Human aura he had emitted until now and it made them goosebumps, a frightening kind. But they also could not show what kind of aura this was because they had only first sensed an aura like this, except for Sona and Akeno, of course.

Kokabiel was once again stunned by what happened. His vast experience and common sense cannot keep up with the two 'unnatural' creatures, namely, Koneko and Aika, "What's y- !?" She tries to ask questions again but Aika disappears and reappears before her while holding her nodachi aloft and threatening to split it in half. The anger was very clear on his face, "Your enemy, obviously!"

Aika dropped her nodachi with all her might and Kokabiel immediately responded by conjuring two swords made of light to block her attack. Kokabiel managed to meet his nodachi but that made him anxious and shocked, only after a few seconds of fighting between them did his nodachi pierce his sword. Kokabiel jumped backwards to avoid the trajectory of his nodachi but he was still cut from his right shoulder to his left waist, "Kuh!!!" However, using this opportunity, Kokabiel kicked Aika away as she tried to recover her position from the attack. Aika blocks her legs with her nodachi but she is still sent flying and makes a hole through the wall of the school building.

"Aika!" Sona exclaimed and she left Koneko's side and ran towards her, "Aika! Are you okay!?" Sona used the rest of her magic to remove the debris that was pressing down on Aika.

"I-I'm fine... Just a little dizzy..." Aika stood up with Sona's help and touched her head, 'It feels damp... Damnit... I'm bleeding!' He looked at his hand and saw a splash of blood on it.

Aika looked at him for a while before giving him a wide smile, "I doubt my important friends would agree to go with me, so not~!" Aika separated from Sona to meet Kokabiel who had already covered her wound using her Holy Power.

Sona stared at Aika's back with a blank look for a few seconds before understanding what she meant. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, 'Where is that bastard when you need him the most?...' But he immediately shook his head and threw away the thought, No... Better he's not here.. . He may die with us...'

"Who are you?" This was the first time Kokabiel had made such a grim face. Although he had withheld many things to get more pleasure from this fight, being repeatedly thrown around could not make him laugh at all. Especially the girl he thought was just an ordinary human but turned out to be a different existence he had never met before, the question was.

Aika grinned widely and placed a nodachi on her shoulder before replying, "Aika Kiryuu US #3~."

"What...?" Everyone couldn't understand what he was saying.

Looking at the confusion of Kokabiel and the others, he explained, "Well, I'm just an ordinary clerk from the Urahara Candy Shop in the suburbs."

"Urahara Candy Shop?" Kokabiel just thought that it was a unique name of a unique character because those people were not too rare, "What is the purpose of your organization?" He wanted to know what he was up against first and why he had involved himself with the Devil, 'He is definitely not a human... Where'd he come from?'

"Ronde two, then." Aika took another deep breath, "Aeternam Somnium."

"Huh? Why are you calling Ge---!?" However, before Kokabiel could finish, Aika's aura rose to a frightening level, but instead of the bluish-white light from before, she now released a swirling pillar of black and red light. It only took a few seconds before the pillar disappeared again and the nodachi Aika turned into a black-and-red reverse-colored double-edged sword.

"Ronde two, start!" Aika disappeared from her position and appeared above Kokabiel's head, blasting black and red energy waves at him.
