Kisuke Uruhara On DXD

Kisuke Uruhara On DXD
Chapter 17

"You want to know about us?" Koneko tilted her head to ask, "About what exactly?"

"Hmm, take a look... Didn't you say you were from the Gremory Household when I first called you? Tell me about it." Kisuke asked as he chewed his snacks.

"Is this going to be tonight's contract?" Koneko wants to make sure.

"Yes. If it's some kind of secret then I can ask for something different." Kisuke.

"No. It's not really a secret. Then I'll start with..."

Master Koneko is a High-class Devil named Rias Gremory. Rias Gremory is the daughter and second child of the House of Gremory. She became heir apparent after her brother, Sirzechs, became Satanic Lucifer, losing his right as heir to the house.

Koneko is the second demon slave Rias with the position of Fortress.

Currently, they were using the Occult Research Club as a guise to gather to conduct their activities. The other Rias servants, besides Koneko, were Akeno Himejima, the Queen, Yuuto Kiba, the Knight, and the Bishop who were sealed by order of Sirzechs.

"What's a position like this 'Tortile?" Yoruichi asked after she finished with her milk.

"Before I tell you about his position, you should know about Evil Piece first ..."

The Evil Pieces, also known as Devil Pieces, are a set of 15 chess pieces given to high-class Devils to increase their rank by reincarnating other beings into Devils.

The Evil Pieces were created by Ajuka Beelzebub to help replenish the number of Devils after the Great War that had caused the deaths of countless Devils.

The creation of Evil Pieces eventually led to the creation of the Rating Game.

Evil Pieces were usually given to pure-blooded High-class Devils, so that they could gather their own slaves. Reincarnated Devils were also given the opportunity to receive Evil Pieces if their rank rose and became High-class or High-class Devils.

When the Devil receives the right to obtain the Evil Piece they are required to go to the territory of Satan and touch a monument that serves as a replacement for King Piece to register themselves as King.

Evil Pieces are identical to normal chess pieces in terms of appearance but will shine according to the magic color of the user when used.

Based on the game of chess, there are a total of 15 pieces (1 Queen, 2 Fortresses, 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, 2 Knights , and 8 Pions ) given to high class Devils (King ) with nobility. These pieces were used to reincarnate other beings into Devils and become high-class Devil servants.

Evil pieces can reincarnate those who died recently or anyone who is still alive who chooses to reincarnate.

The powers, talents, and skills of the beings to be reincarnated play a big role in determining how many pieces to use for reincarnation. Different Evil Pieces cannot be used together. Evil Pieces can also be exchanged between high-class Devils with noble titles.

The Queen had all the characteristics of the Citadel, Knights, and Bishops, making them the most balanced and also the most powerful pieces. In individual peerage, Queens usually act as their second-in-command master, overseeing the rest of the peerage.

The fortress gained superhuman strength, resulting in high attack and defense. However, they are not very fast and can be defeated easily by high-speed opponents. The King can do a skirt with the Citadel piece.

Bishops gain enhanced magical abilities that they can use to invoke many spells (attacking, curing, etc.). However, the stronger spells depleted most of their magical power, which took a long time to recover, forcing them to use their strength carefully or risk becoming vulnerable to physical attacks.

The characteristics of a Pion are the ability to promote to be Queen, Fortress, Knight, or Bishop in enemy territory or with the permission of their King.

There are also special pieces known as Mutation Pieces. If reviving someone requires more than one pawn, then using one Mutated Piece is enough to reincarnate that person rather than having to use multiple pieces. Mutation Pieces can be Queen, Fortress, Knight, Bishop, or Pion. They were said to be extremely rare, and only 1 in 10 Devils possessed a Piece. Normal Evil Pieces could also turn into Mutated Pieces.

Another feature installed in Evil Pieces is the unused Evil Pieces, which will undergo changes according to the growth of the master, allowing the King to use fewer pieces when reincarnating other creatures into Devils.

"That's a very bad system, there's no play on words" Yoruichi commented.

"Indeed, that Ajuka Beelzebub was one of the demon geniuses, nor was there a play on words." Kisuke rubs his chin in contemplation.

"Koneko-chan, you said that you are a Fortress, right? Then, your fighting style should be empty-handed combat?" Yoruichi curiously asked Koneko.

Koneko simply nodded her head in confirmation.

"Then how about arguing with this guy over here?" Yoruichi suddenly suggested.

"" Eh? ""

Kisuke and Koneko were both stunned.

"What's? Did I say something so shocking?" Yoruichi asked the two.

"Why do you even suggest that?"

"I want to see him fight. Don't you also want to see the devil in action?" Yoruichi explains his motive.

"But Kisuke-senpai may be injured. After all, he's just a human." Koneko still could not agree with him.

"It's okay. Even if he received that thousand knees early, he would just laugh at him."

"But.."

"And didn't she introduce herself as a witch when she first called you? He can cast some body strengthening spells to bridge the gap between the two of you, albeit a little." Yoruichi continued his persuasion.

"...Stay on.."

"Oh, I just remembered. I saw a picture of you when you cosplayed for the store. Some of them are even a bit obscene." Yoruichi hammered the last nail in the coffin.

"Yosh, let's do this senpai." Koneko's aura suddenly lit up and she started cracking her knuckles.

"D-!! Yoruichi you're a traitor!!!" Kisuke who had only been listening all this time was shocked by the betrayal of his cat.
