"What do you want to know?" Athena took a cup of tea and drank it, 'What might be worse than the pill she just gave me?'

"For starters, tell me why did Medusa have to go through all that?" Kisuke asked calmly. The previous smile on his face had already disappeared.

Kisuke's gaze gave Athena an invisible pressure and she stuttered slightly, "T-because it has to be done!"

"Hoooh? Tell me why."

"..." - ".Athena pondered for a moment before replying, "It would be easier to understand if you knew the whole story..." He sighed before continuing, "Do you know which came first? Man or God?"

"Not knowing." Although Kisuke has a theory that comes first, he has no supporting evidence.

"That's the Gods ..."

"What does this have to do with the Medusa case?" Yoruichi from the side asked. Athena's brows twitched but she had no further reaction, "Let me finish first..."

According to Athena, the Primordial God first came from a different star system when Earth was still uninhabitable for unknown reasons. But after they arrived, they did not settle down but instead started fighting with each other. The fight was on a war scale where it kept changing the face of the Earth every day.

After some time, they stopped fighting because of the many casualties and injuries. However, instead of returning to where it came from, they decided to stay on Earth due to the discovery of the Dimensional Gap. They found that if you split space near Earth, they would open a completely different Dimension. With the Primordial Gods remaining, they divided the Earth into many regions according to their factions and that was the birth of many different Mythological Factions on Earth.

With their power, they changed the shape of the earth according to their needs. They also began creating basic life forms with the help of technology from their star systems. The Primordial Gods had an almost infinite lifespan so they took the time to form Earth. From basic microorganisms to complex life forms, they wait. They even annihilated the life they created many times because it did not reach a certain standard.

"Wait... So you're saying these gods can create anything they want?" Kisuke. A certain being then emerged from his mind, Soul King, 'Is he the same as these people he is talking about?'

"Of course not. They can only create basic life forms and their evolution will depend on the initial setup and environment they are in. Moreover, there are resources they need to create a finite life."

"And that was?"

"On this day... It was called Soul or Spiritual Strength."

"Even inanimate objects need it to maintain their shape."

"So you mean this God can manipulate Spiritual Strength?"

"It's not you who's asking here, Miss. Continue with your story." Kisuke narrowed his eyes from his question, 'It seems that soul manipulation is more amazing than I thought... Fortunately I got this information here. Or else, I'd be in hot water if some of my discoveries about the soul spread.'

"Ehem..." Athena turned her gaze and continued her story.

After more creatures evolved with more complexity, the Gods decided to move away from Earth so that they would not affect life in it too much. Their solution was to open up the isolated space within the Dimensional Gap and create their own living space connected to Earth. And that is the origin of Mount Olympus, Asgard, and many more.

Not long after they discovered the existence of Ophis floating aimlessly in the Dimensional Gap.

Athena stopped talking and looked at Ophis and realized that she did not have any reaction from her story because she was too busy with her snacks, 'Is that really the Dragon Ouroboros?' He wanted to believe otherwise but the aura he was emitting right now was too familiar to him. Eliminating this thought, Athena continued speaking.

The Primordial God tried to capture Ophis to study her but failed because it was too powerful. And even if it could then defeat him by their numbers, he could escape easily and find him in the boundless Dimensional Gap was extremely unlikely. They only gave up when some of them were killed by him.

They then secretly watched life on Earth grow, but it wasn't long before a certain species slowly took pictures of the Gods.

"So that's when the first humans showed up..."

"Yes ... They had no idea how they came into being but one popular belief among the Gods at that time was that their Divinity influenced their development. At first, they were afraid because of the notion that they were as strong as they were and tried to destroy them immediately. But some Gods stopped them and proposed that they examine these creatures in their own form."

Athena stops and drinks her tea again while Kisuke and Yoruichi patiently wait for her to continue as they have no pressing issues.

The first contact between Gods and Humans was successful. They now knew that they did not have any threat to them and these Humans even began to worship them as the Gods watched over them from the sidelines.

What they did not expect was the fact that Humans began to develop very quickly in terms of technology. This is where the theory about humans influenced by the Godhead of the Gods gets more traction.

This unexpected development caught the attention of the Gods and began to engage actively with them seeing where these Humans were going. It was only around this time that Ophis began to explore Earth. It wasn't long before the new creatures explored the Dimensional Gap, now called the Great Red. And along with its appearance, waves of Spiritual Strength came out of nowhere.

Perhaps due to the influence of Ophis and Great Red as well as the abundance of Spiritual Strength, all sorts of beings with powers were born and threatened the existence of Humanity. This is the part where they start to give blessings and help humans defeat these creatures. This time they also discover that Humans can conceive their child who gave birth to the first Demi-God who will lead Humanity to fight against the strange creatures now known as Heroes.

But it is also around this time that a certain being appears and that being will be called the Biblical God later.

"The Biblical God? How's it?" Kisuke and Yoruichi's eyes widened on this revelation when they thought that the God of the Bible was among those who came here from other star systems.
