Kisuke looked at the clock with tired eyes. He saw this already at 3am, "Say, Kaichou, aren't you enough yet?"
Sona, who also had the same tired eyes glared at Kisuke, "Are you trying to block my concentration? That's not gonna work for me. I won't let you stop when you're ahead."
"I'm not just in front of you, you can't even win! The score is now 9:0 and this is the tenth match. I want this last one, because they don't deserve me anymore." Kisuke shook his head.

Sona and Kisuke have been playing chess ever since Aika called her parents. And they did it until now.
After Sona lost the first game, they all changed their pajamas after taking a shower. Koneko has cat-patterned pajamas that she always wears, Sakura lends her flower-patterned pajamas Aika and Sona conjures a checkered motif with her own magic. They then move into Kisuke's room as it is quite large.
Sakura prepares three sets of futon mattresses for Koneko, Aika, and Sona and sets them aside. He knew that Kisuke would not do anything unwanted to them even if they slept in his room. After preparing the futons, he then took some snacks and made tea for them. The house has a lot of snacks and tea.
While Sona and Kisuke are focusing on the next game with new terms that are only a few upgrades from Kisuke's previous condition, the, Aika and Koneko are playing with Kisuke's game console while the latter explains a few things to the newcomer, Aika. Yoruichi, however, was already napping on top of Kisuke's bed.
When Kisuke and Sona reach their fifth game, Sakura retreats to her bed long before and lets the kids do their thing. Koneko and Aika also started to fall asleep and they cleaned up the snack dishes and tea cups before putting two sets of futons to sleep. Sona had already bitten her finger at this moment. And they no longer bet because Sona was afraid she would lose everything she had if she kept betting. He had already lost all of his confidence before they decided, and the only thing left was the persistence and determination to defeat Kisuke even just once to make up for his shattered pride.
In the tenth game, Kisuke finally lost his temper and we went back to the beginning.
"I have improved in real-time and the game is slowly becoming longer and longer. I can also see your movements quite freely now compared to the previous games, I can't stop now." Sona's elegance disappears and her decisiveness rises to another level, albeit in a bad way. Now he doesn't want to stop playing until he wins one game.
Kisuke somehow already expected this after their fifth game, that he would be a very stubborn person after losing so many times in a game that he was very confident in. In their sixth game, Kisuke slowly changes his strategy to slightly lower his level. He did the same in the seventh and eighth games. The ninth is a game where Kisuke is almost on the level with Sona. Sona is so tired that she doesn't realize what Kisuke is doing and misunderstands that he is improving so quickly while playing with her. Kisuke thought that it was time for him to put out the reason he had thought before, "Kaichou, you are a High-class Devil who is very active at night and superhuman specs, I am only human remember? Even though I know a bit of magic, my physique is still like a normal human and I won't be able to follow you if we continue playing like this. Are you okay with me losing to you just because your stamina is so much bigger than mine?" Kisuke did not hesitate to use his pride against him. He moved on and ended their game.
"Kuh..." Sona's thought process has slowed down due to fatigue, not just from playing chess, but the fatigue that continues to accumulate working as Chairman of OSIS and the planning he made to realize his dream is already weighing on his mind. He processed Kisuke's words and thought that it was true he didn't want to win that way, "I'm sorry. Let's take a break today."
"Y-well, that's something I played as a kid and lately no one has been able to beat me." Sona had a delicate red hue on her face as she explained to herself, 'There's no way I can tell you the real reason.'
Kisuke smiled and only accepted the reason. He knows he is hiding something else but it seems he has the right to dig into his personal history and Kisuke is not interested in doing so unless the situation requires him to. He gathered the chessboard and the pieces back into his inventory, he then took out two cups of milk and gave one to Sona who was rubbing the space between her eyebrows to ease the eye strain, "What'sthis?"
"You won't be able to sleep without calming down, drinking it, and you'll feel better." Kisuke drank his own cup of milk.
"Thank you." Sona slowly drank her milk, "Enak." A small smile appeared on his face, although fatigue was still visible. It seemed like she was hiding her quiz face through some means or she was really good at controlling her facial expression, and that control had just disappeared.
"Kaichou, you shouldn't exhaust yourself too much like that. It won't do you any good." Kisuke started an empty conversation.
"So, you noticed, yeah. I can't relax even if I want to. I have so many things to think about that it just fills my mind. Problems that seem to have no solution unless I go up the stairs and things that I have to do to climb those stairs." Sona smiled wryly, she felt a little better after letting out a little of her pain.
Kisuke says nothing and puts down the final set of futon mattresses for Sona, She tries to stop him but she manages to put them down in just a few seconds and all she can do is thank him.
"Take your milk, and this is water. Lie down and give me your hand." Kisuke gave him some instructions, but Sona became defensive in this, "What are you trying to do? Don't think that I won't fight back if you do something funny to me."
"Come on, I wouldn't do something as bland as that. But if you offer yourself, it'll be a completely different story." Kisuke gave her a wide grin, and Sona finally let down her guard and said, "Stop teasing me. I'm tired." He then followed his instructions by lying down and lending his left hand to Kisuke.
"Then the Soul is Calmer." Kisuke uses the Kidou he used on Koneko when she was in an unstable state of mind.
"Hm? What'sthis?" Sona was surprised by the strange energy flowing through her hands and spreading throughout her body. He wanted to take back his hand from Kisuke, but it felt like this energy calmed his nerves which almost never happened.
"A little mantra I made to calm your mind, just enjoy it and go to sleep."
"...Is that so? Then I'll.just.that's....." Sona immediately fell asleep with a smile as her tired soul was being healed by Reaitsu and Mana Kisuke.
