Chapter 219

The day after Kisuke 'rejected' her, Sona arrived at school fifteen minutes late and this shocked everyone from OSIS. After all, Sona would always come first before everyone was with Tsubaki, but today, she was alone and late.

Everyone looked towards Tsubaki to get an answer but she just shook her head. Meanwhile, Sona acted as if nothing had happened and lived the entire day normally. They even notice that Sona starts to work harder with her task and thinks that she is doing this only to make up for her delay and let her go.

However, three days later, they noticed that Sona continued to increase her workload and the bags under her eyes became clearer. Saji confronts her about it but she ignores it and the next day, everyone is once again shocked when they see Sona wearing thin makeup to cover her haggard face. He ignored their gazes and instructed them for the work days and he started working on his ever-increasing paper work.

'This is not going to work... I can't let them worry about me anymore Sona thought as she looked out the window to take a break from her work.

'All this paper work is unnecessary, but it's fun to do it.' Sona looked back at what she was working on. Various plans, rules, and theories regarding the Rating Game School that he wanted to establish, were not only for nobles but for everyone regardless of their status to be present in the Underworld.

'But sooner or later, I'm going to run out of ideas...' The real reason why he wanted to serve as OSIS of Kuoh Academy was because he wanted to experience firsthand how to manage the school and he could do to improve it. But to be honest, he could have hired a professional to do most of the planning for him and he could have changed some details to suit his needs. He does not need to plan the whole school from the beginning, therefore, this is practically useless because the professionally made ones are more useful and convenient for him.

But despite its usefulness, it was fun for him to plan from start to surgery as this was his childhood dream.

He then remembered why he was currently working this hard, 'That damn Kisuke! I hope he chokes and mistook soy sauce for cola and drank it!'

He knows that being angry at her for 'rejecting' him makes no sense because it's only natural that those feelings won't be mutually beneficial and he already has a girlfriend, but he could not help but nag and cuss him in his mind. Sona had already cursed and punished him with countless minor misfortunes.

'...But I like him a lot.' She thought as her tears threatened to fall again, but immediately wiped her off. No matter how angry he is, it will not change the realization of his feelings and it will not go away easily, Damn it! Why are you suddenly leaving!? At least try to cheer me up a little! Although I might listen to you, but still...!' Since she is currently alone in the OSIS room, Sona starts acting like a shy little girl who makes small tantrums by biting her lips and stomping her feet.

'And you went on your honeymoon with Yoruichi the day after I ran away crying!? I know you have the freedom to do whatever you want with your girlfriend, but if you're trying to make me jealous, PLEASE YOU! It's a huge success! I'm officially jealous!' Sona wanted to shout her harsh words but resisted the temptation.

'If I see you again, I will hit you so hard that you will not be able to forget it! For the love of hell! Why do my thoughts keep on going to him!? Sona, wake up and stop thinking about him! It will only make you sad and cry!' To dispose of these thoughts, he again immersed himself with work, like a broken-hearted adult drowning himself with alcohol to forget and escape their troubles.

A few more days have passed, and the members of the OSIS are becoming more worried about Sona. The tipping point for Saji is when he suddenly turns down a tennis match with Rias Gremory as they both look forward to it. Saji confronts Sona once more, but this time, Sona attacks with her words a little which surprises everyone. Due to her bad mood and tired mind, she accidentally yells at Saji angrily as Saji keeps nagging her about taking care of herself and asking what really happened. After a bit of calm, he immediately realized his mistake and apologized to him and everyone immediately and asked to be left alone for a while. They don't know how long 'for a while' but Sona has only continued to talk business and work with them ever since.

When the exorcists from the Catholic and Protestant Churches arrived and requested a meeting with the city leaders, he did not think too much about it after making sure that they did not mean evil and immediately referred them to Rias.

However, before long, she receives another news that one of the exorcists is Kisuke's childhood friend and is currently living in his house, 'Children's friend!? Black cat, white cat, pervert, waitress, and now childhood friend!? Why are there so many girls around!? And here I am, suffering because of him... Not fair!' Sona made another small act when she was left alone after she heard it.

He finds an opportunity to relieve more of his stress when he learns Saji's activities help the exorcists by giving him two thousand magical blows. Although afterwards, he knew that the situation with the exorcist was more serious than they thought and they would probably be dragged into it.

And as he had expected, the situation became much worse when Kokabiel appeared and threatened to destroy the entire city.

Sona wants to call her sister but decides not to because she knows how her sister reacts and things will only escalate from there. She also instructs Tsubaki not to call her before she can do so, though, soon after, she regrets this decision because Aika tells him how foolish her decision was, 'She was right... his army and reminded him not to come here...'

Ordering Tsubaki to call her sister, Sona and the others go outside the school to put up a barrier that will stop the damage from within to go outside.

Even though they were outside, they were all able to see what was happening inside through magic. Everything was going well until Valper managed to combine the four Excalibur swords and they had to hurry before the rest of the magic exploded. They can't wait for reinforcements anymore.

And everything went downhill when Kokabiel finally made his move, 'This is bad! He's too strong! Much stronger than we expected!' Sona starts to panic and finds a way to help them but fails. Sona was fine, but her other slaves were already tired from lighting the barrier and if she left, the barrier would disappear in just a few seconds.

Not knowing what to do, he suddenly heard someone calling him, 'Header of the Sitri Household, it seems like you need help. I can take care of the barrier here. But that's all I can do. I'm not going to face Kokabiel.' A robed human approached the barrier and placed his hand on it. Suddenly, a large amount of Demon Power entered the barrier and it strengthened several times.

'What!? But I think he's human? How could he use the power of the Devil? And this intensity? Above High Class?' Sona was of course wary and could not believe this unknown figure, "Who are you? What's your purpose?"

The disguised Cleria understood his vigilance, 'Hmm... What am I supposed to do... Uh. There's that method. I wonder if it could work?' Cleria looked at Sona and replied, "I'm Kisuke Urahara's friend."

Cleria thought as she stared at Sona's conflicting expressions of happiness, sadness, and confusion, 'It seems like my decision to help them was the right one. Those words were like magic to Sona as she hesitated for a moment before calling Tsubaki, "Tsubaki, back off now! Let him guard the barrier and wait for reinforcements!"

"Kaichou!? How's it going!?"

"I still have a little bit of my power so I'll help Rias."

"Then we'll go with you!"

"You can't! You are all tired and will only be ducks for Kokabiel! I can protect myself! Go!"

"Yes!!!" Tsubaki wanted to say more, but her master was right that they could not proceed any further and would only hold her back. Gritting his teeth, Tsubaki instructed everyone to retreat. Saji tries to protest but he is dragged away by two girls from his team.
