Chapter 45

'What is Princess Sitri doing here!?'

Sona sees Sakura entering the living room and greets her, "Good night, Mom. Sorry to bother me. I am Souna Shitori, Chairman of OSIS Kuoh Academy." She bowed gracefully to Kisuke's mother.

Sakura took a few seconds to answer because she didn't know what was going on, "Ah... Good evening and welcome to our humble home. My name is Sakura Urahara, Kisuke's mother. May I know the reason for your visit?"

"Please don't be too formal with me, I'm here for my personal affairs. I have an appointment with your son for this afternoon and he told me that Toujou-san here can bring me here." Sona convinces Sakura but she is confused as to why she is so nervous. After giving her a second glance, she felt a little familiar with Sona, but could not remember where she saw her.

"Sure, um, I'm sorry, but who are you?" Sakura directed this question to the third person in the room.

"Uhm, Good night, Mom. My name is Aika Kiryuu, a classmate of Ura-Kisuke-kun, I also have some business with him. Please forgive me for my interruption!" Aika, who came with Sona and Koneko because she was dragged by Koneko frantically greeted Sakura.

"Welcome too, please sit down, both of you. I'll prepare dinner for all of us."

"Thank you for your offer, but it's late so I have to go. I don't want to be too intrusive." Sona bowed again getting ready to leave.

"Now, Kaichou. Since you are already here, please join us for dinner. You too, Aika-chan." Kisuke's voice echoed behind Sakura. Unbeknownst to them, Kisuke notices their interactions since his mother enters the house. He also notices Sakura's unnatural behavior but says nothing. If her mother didn't want to reveal anything, then she would never force her. Kisuke thought that he might already have a premonition that his son was not a normal human from the way he looked at him from time to time.

"Kisuke! Where the hell have you been? It's not good to keep guests waiting!" Sakura turned around and immediately scolded her son.

"I'm really sorry. I have something to do this afternoon, but I don't think it'll hold me back too long." Kisuke confronts Sona and Aika and apologizes sincerely, "Although, I didn't know Aika-chan would be here either. What a pleasant surprise." He sent a grin to Aika who did not know what to do.

"Ughs... Toujou-san dragged me here and I also want to quickly finish." Aika stopped fidgeting and looked at Kisuke like he owed her something.

"Hahaha, thats. Then you two sit down first. I'll help mom make dinner." Kisuke offered both seats.

"No. You entertain your guests and I will prepare dinner with Koneko-chan." Sakura disagrees with Kisuke's words, "Enjoy your time. I went upstairs to get changed before I cooked dinner. Koneko-chan, please prepare the vegetables in the fridge for now." He then left four in the living room.

Koneko stood up and went to the kitchen to do Sakura's instructions. He had already helped out several times and had even learned how to cook some dishes by himself, a skill he did not imagine he would have.

Left alone, Kisuke felt completely fine, but the two glasses-looking beauties felt awkward. Sona and Aika cannot refuse Sakura's invitation if she insists so. Aika, in particular, felt quite nervous because this was the first time she had come to the house of a boy her age. She always teased the other girls about going to their crush's house, but she didn't know that it would be so stressful, 'Is it supposed to be this difficult? I always imagined myself coming to a boy's house or even a room, but this feeling was much different than I thought.'

"What should we do while we wait for dinner?" Kisuke sat on the sofa opposite them, "Film? A game?"

"I'll finish some of my work for OSIS." Sona fixed her glasses and took out a laptop and some files from her bag.

"Are you even resting?" Kisuke's mouth twitched looking at this hardworking girl. Although if Yoruichi was here, he would probably reply and say, "You have no right to say that! You're even worse than him if you focus too much!"

"Let me help you then." Kisuke offered a helping hand and Aika could not sit still, "I will also help."

"Thank you, but these files only take 15 minutes to complete. I've already finished most of them while waiting for you." Sona replied as she began to write many notes on the paper, and from the looks of it, 15 minutes was enough for her.

"Then reduce it to 10 minutes. Me and Aika can help you arrange some things to make it easier for you." Kisuke suggests and Sona does not refuse a second time and only thanks them for their help.

All three said nothing unrelated to what they did and only faithfully did the job. After about 10 minutes, they finished everything and Sona started packing everything back into her bag. It'll take longer for dinner to get ready and they've got nothing to do. Kisuke uses this opportunity to make Aika more relaxed by talking about random things and she succeeds as Aika returns to her usual arrogant self, though she holds back due to Sona's presence. Sona also likes to talk about random things and especially about feminine things with Aika as she does not have many opportunities to do so due to her position and legacy. Although they were both completely disqualified as 'modern teenage girls' in terms of knowledge, they still enjoyed being with each other.

Kisuke, who was with them, also floated some ideas from time to time making the two glasses girls think, 'Why does this guy know so much about this?'

Although this pleasant and relaxing time did not last long as Kisuke felt a presence that was interfering with his way of mind. It was the same presence that Kisuke and Yoruichi referred to as the 'Last Boss'. However, this time it did not disappear and instead locked his attention on Kisuke and everyone in the house. He did not even try to hide his view. Kisuke's smile was stiff and this was noticed by the two people beside him as he stopped in the middle of saying something, "What happened?" Sona furrowed her brows.

Kisuke did not answer him and was immersed in deep contemplation with a very serious expression on his face, 'What is he doing here? And why was he staring in this direction so intently? Does it want something? I cannot pay; any hostility, but that could change at any time. For now, I should slowly activate the teleportation array placed in this house to secure everyone just in case. Yoruichi also rushed here and would arrive in a few seconds. I have to wait for him before I decide on my next move.'

Indeed, after a few seconds, Yoruichi in his cat form jumped from the window landing on the middle table surprising the two girls at his sudden appearance. He looked at Kisuke's serious expression and turned his attention to the two girls with him with still shocked expressions. Aika especially feels excited, she likes to hug cats since she was a child and one of her little joys as she grows up, "Is this your cat? Beautiful black fur, can I caress it?"

Sona, on the other hand, felt disbelief as her gaze intersected with the cat, 'Did I just see something? Why do these cat eyes put pressure on me?'

Yoruichi then looked back at Kisuke who was thinking, "What's the plan?" She said in her different male voice as she was in her cat form.

The expressions of the two glasses-looking beauties froze.

"It speaks!!!" Aika jumped into Kisuke's arms involuntarily and shouted horribly.
