Chapter 208

As Koneko expected, Issei suspiciously made contact with Saji to discuss something. But before Issei could say anything, Aika cut him off and joined in on the fun.

Issei intends to help the exorcists destroy the Sword of Excalibur. As she says this, Saji tries to escape but fails when Aika holds him back. Aika and Issei managed to convince him to join the discussion with the exorcists. Since they knew where they were staying because Akeno had made no secret of their existence, Aika took the initiative to call them.

He said after giving her a 'good' smile, "Yes! Ma!" Saji unintentionally paid her respects. He still has some trauma regarding the kind of pressure from Kisuke.

But due to his immature control, he ended up putting Issei, Irina, and Xenovia within his reach as well. Irina and Xenovia almost pulled out their weapons. If not for Aika pulling back her pressure, they might have attacked her out of instinct. Even now, they had no idea what had just happened.

"Damn it! Kiryuus! If you know that technique, at least say something before you use it! That's so bad for the heart!" Issei complained loudly attracting the attention of other customers so she sat back down in embarrassment.

"W-what's that!?" Xenovia and Irina asked at the same time.

Irina and Xenovia knew that they would get nothing out of it while Issei and Saji also said nothing about it so they started 'negotiation' they were rather than just wasting time as they still had to patrol the city to gather more information.

When Issei told them her intention to help them destroy Excalibur, Irina shouted but Xenovia agreed after a moment of thought. The two end up arguing about getting help from the Devil who shows their respective strange beliefs. However, Xenovia emphasized the point that they borrowed the power of the Dragons rather than the Devils and the fact that they did not have much of a chance to take the sword even with their trump cards, after all, destroying the sword is easier than taking it. . They would rather the sword be considered useless than used by the Fallen Angels.

After reaching an agreement, Issei first decided to call Yuuto before they polished the details of their plan.

They then remembered that he also seemed to be trained by Kisuke Urahara and looked towards Aika.

The two exorcists thought that they could at least measure the demonic-power in this city, but because of this 'Kisuke Urahara', it became beyond their comprehension.

They then explained who the Freed Sellzen was. He was a genius warrior who was raised by the Church but he never had any confidence just against a creature that he considered a monster. He crossed too many boundaries so his trial was only a matter of time but he was able to escape. They did not expect that they would receive news of him holding one of the stolen Excaliburs here.

With this information, they decide that Issei and his company must hide their identities while dressing up as priests to lure the Freed Sellzen who seems to be the man behind the massacre of the priest in the city. They would split into two groups and call the others if they met Freed. This mission seemed to be easier now that they knew that only humans used the Holy Sword.

Their meeting was over so they had to go their own way to start their plan. After coming out of the cafe, the Devils plus Aika discussed what they were going to do. Aika decides that they will fight if there are only humans present and if there are Fallen Angels in sight, they must escape.

Finished with that, Saji finally voiced his confusion about what Yuuto's relationship with the Sacred Sword was even though he was a Devil. Yuuto then decides to tell his story about the sole survivor of the 'Sacred Sword Project' as his comrades use their lives to protect him so that he can escape.

After hearing her story, Saji cries and promises that she will help him despite the risk of 'death' in his own master's hands.

It took them two more days to lure Freed out.
