Kisuke Uruhara On DXD

Kisuke Uruhara On DXD
Chapter 66

Returning to the past, Kisuke leaves Yoruichi and the others to do his own work. He went to the center of the training ground where there was a vast open space.

Kisuke looked around and took out 6 black poles. It was 3 meters tall and 1 inch thick. There were also various inscriptions along its surface that gave a mysterious impression.

Kisuke stuck his wand onto the ground one by one with only 1 meter left on the surface. After completion, the pole is made hexagonal shape with a distance of 3 meters from the adjacent pole.

He then went to the middle and touched the ground with his palm to release his Reiatsu. Six strands of Reiatsu were formed and walked through the ground towards the six pillars illuminating the inscription on it with a blue hue.

From the poles, the line of light rises 10 meters. The lines are connected to each adjacent line and a thin film of a blue transparent screen above and between the lines creates a Hexa-cylindrical barrier.

Kisuke put up this barrier just in case something unwanted happens because it will stop the shock generated from inside into the outside environment. It was also made so that Yoruichi could light it up with his Reiatsu from the outside which was basically trapping him inside the barrier.

"It's gonna work." Kisuke then began to sit cross-legged and took out Benihime in the form of his cane, putting it on his lap.

Closing his eyes, he meditated for 10 minutes to empty his mind before focusing his attention on his energy reserves which were a mixture of Reiryoku and his Mana with Ki on the side not interacting with the two.

Kisuke wills the mixture to stop circulating and gather it in the middle of his body. He examined it briefly to see something different from the past but found no change whatsoever other than its volume increasing several times over compared to his childhood. When compared to Reiryoku in his previous life, it was three times larger, so he could already activate Hougyoku completely if he wanted to, but when compared to Aizen, it would not even reach half that. Although Kisuke will also reach his level in the end as Hougyoku continues to nurture his Reiryoku as time passes in a half-awake state.

After quite checking it out, Kisuke then started to separate it little by little. Separating it is like not mixing mixed paint. So it's almost impossible to do so with such insane control as Kisuke and Yoruichi have. Although they could not mix it up from the start without much control over their energy. As he did this, Kisuke was able to feel his physical body weakening with the soul body separated from him.

It took about three hours to complete the entire process. When he finished, his physical body was as powerful as a Middle-class Devil, but it was still without using his Ki, although he would not be able to use most of his Shinigami abilities.

He did not wait any further and started to merge his Reiryoku and Ki. As he expected, it was much easier and less complicated to combine the two as they were very compatible, although it still required the same amount of control as before.

Everything went well. Kisuke even entered a trance state of mind and automatically completed the task. At this rate, he was able to fully merge the two in three more hours, but that was not the case as he was suddenly drawn into his inner world, despite his trance, thanks to his trans, his body was still doing work without any interference.

Kisuke opened his eyes and immediately saw the familiar Japanese castle. It is a flat plain castle very similar to Matsumoto Castle in Nagano Prefecture, but not its black exterior, but the outside is blood red and if it appears in the real world, the castle will be dubbed as 'Blood Castle'.

Kisuke sighed and spoke loudly, "Benihime-chan, can't you let me do my job calmly?"

A beautiful voice answered her question, "This is a good opportunity. I can't let go."

Kisuke turned around and saw a woman with pale white skin, black eyes and braided hair and arranged in a circle on her head, wearing a red Kimono with a black sash that greatly praised her beauty. It's Benihime.

But Kisuke doesn't care about his appearance and is more interested in what he wants to do, "Chance for what?"

He chuckled and answered his question, "Fufufu. You should have known."

"You're gonna kill me again?" Kisuke said in a desperate voice.

"Ya~." And Seeniime's smile grew wider. He then took out a medium-sized slender sword and slashed it towards Kisuke.

Kisuke fended it off with the same sword. They exchanged a few more sword strikes with the sound of metal clashing so violently that you wouldn't expect it to come from swords attacking each other.

In their final clash, the two fired a burst of dark red-colored energy that produced a huge explosion that sent the two away from each other. Surprisingly, there was no damage on the ground and the explosion only splashed a certain amount of red water around it.

"One of my biggest regrets after unlocking my empty power is that you became more unreasonable and radical in your ways." Kisuke adjusted his position, pointing his sword towards Benihime. Kisuke is unable to use most of his abilities because although combining his Reiryoku and Ki does not require his full attention, he still needs to dedicate some of it to his completion. As for why he had yet to stop the process, it was because he would need all of his focus to stop safely or else his body would probably explode and die. But he knew Benihime would not give him a chance to stop.

Kisuke desperately wished for Benihime not to disturb the smelting because he did not do it the first time he did it.

Kisuke also did not want to fight him because he could only do it with skill and planning ahead was almost useless as he could not use the item or Kidou. Every time they fought, it was always a familiar call for him.

"I have to thank you for that~. I think I really got freedom." Benihime answered happily.
