Chapter 36

More than a quarter of an hour ago.

Rias and Akeno teleported near the church and started walking towards her.

"Look who's here."

Fallen angels blocked their path by jumping down from a nearby tree branch.

The one who spoke was a girl with blond hair styled into twintails and blue eyes. She wore Lolita Gothic clothing, which consisted of a black Lolita dress with a white frill, a large black ribbon on the front, and a green gem embedded in the collar, thigh-high white socks, and, and black shoes. She also wore a large black ribbon over her hair.

Rias and Akeno stopped and looked at him.

He stood up and said, "People call me the fallen angel Mittelt! And I'm the most awesome angel ever."

"Geez, how polite you are. But don't you like it a little?" Akeno smiled and said.

"My servant feels your presence. You must be afraid we're moving." Rias follows.

"No, not at all." He laughed, "Only we don't want the devil to interfere with our important rituals."

"Well, we're sorry about that. Our cheerful children just went there." Akeno sneered at him.

"Wait, what!? Are you really serious?"

"Sufuku. Yep! Boldly pass through the front gate."

"Damn it! I thought you were gonna sneak in from behind!" Mittelt repeatedly stomped his feet to the ground in frustration.

After a few seconds, he paused and calmed down with a sigh, "Well, how many minions you brought doesn't really matter. That won't be a problem. After all, you two are the only ones who really have a chance to bother us. Thank you for coming all the way here!"

"No problem. I won't join them." replied Rias.

"Oh, wait, you left them?" Mittelt looked at them dumbfoundedly.

Before Rias and Akeno could answer him, two other fallen angels landed near Mittelt.

"Huh, what do we have here?" Dohnaseek, whom Rias, Akeno, and Koneko met earlier when he tried to kill Issei because he thought she was a wild demon, muttered.

Dohnaseek is a middle-aged man with short black hair and dark blue eyes. Her outfit consists of a pale gray trench coat over a white shirt with matching ascots, black pants and shoes, a pair of black gloves, and a black fedora.

“You want to interrupt Reynare-sama's ritual? I have to kill you both here.” Kalawarner, the last Fallen Angel spoke up.

Kalawarner is a tall, plump woman with brown eyes and long, sea-blue hair that covers her right eye. The outfit consists of a maroon-colored top like a raincoat with a wide collar, a matching miniskirt, and black heels. The top of the raincoat opened on his chest, giving a look to his breasts and cleavage. He also wore a gold necklace around his neck. He appeared to be wearing a white shirt under his top, but it could only be seen from below.

After Kalawarner spoke up, they all breathed air.

"Aken." Rias calmly called out to her Queen.

"Yes, Buchou." Akeno parted from Rias and raised her hand.

Akeno's demonic powers surge and her school uniform suddenly transforms into Miko's traditional outfit, consisting of white hair with red accents, red hakama, and a pair of zori with white tabi.

"Damn! Why does a demon like you have a transformation scene!?" Mittelt would not say.

Akeno did not reply but spread her hands out and several magic circles appeared around her which basically sealed the space around them.

"Hey, aren't we fucked?" Mittelt looked around in a slight panic.

"So this is what you planned from the start." Kalawarner embodies the spear of light and directs it towards Akeno.

"Ahh~. Don't disappoint me. I hope you can endure a lot of pain" Akeno smiled seductively.

"Haha, that's right." Mittelt managed to regain his composure.

"I see, so your goal is the nun's sacred gear" commented Rias.

They threw spears towards them and Akeno raised the magic circle as a shield to protect Rias.

"Not bad! The shield was strong enough to withstand the spear of light. Pretty good for a Devil." Mittelt said indifferently.

"But I wonder how long it will last." Kalawarner threw another spear and two people followed him.

"Sealing this space and installing shields, isn't a very good plan." Dohnaseek gave them another sneer.

The two were silent and did not hear their provocation.

"Hey how about you go and let you go~. Just kidding. You accompany us here until it's all over. We'll also turn you two into powder afterwards. Haha. Your servant should be black and blue now.

"Especially the perverted child who fell in love with Reynare-neesama! I'm sure he's been a long time—."

"Don't underestimate Issei. After all, he's my strongest pawn." Rias finally interrupts her annoying monologue.

"'Pawn'? Oh right, you described your servant as a chess piece. Pions are lined up in front, aren't they?" Mittelt continued to grumble and throw spears.

"So, they are basically sacrificial lambs," Kalawarner commented from the side.

"Geez, our club president will never sacrifice any part!" Akeno was sweating around her neck as she blocked their attack. But their final attack finally pierced through his shield and he was thrown a few meters away from Rias.

"You seem to think the boy is very capable, but he has no chance against

Reynare-sama, no matter how good she is." Dohnaseek uttered another sentence.

"After all, he's her ex-boyfriend!" Mittelt was already laughing out loud as if she remembered something funny, "Reynare-sama told us about what she did to her. That's funny!"

Rias' aura suddenly changed but the three Fallen Angels were unaware of it.

"Don't go there, Mittelt. Just thinking about it makes me laugh out loud!" Dohnaseek also began to laugh out loud.

And Kalawarner is the same, "Well, I have to admit it's so funny!"

They, at the same time, threw their strengthened light spears to kill the already defenseless Rias.

"Buchou! Watch out!" Akeno warned her master.

But before the spear landed on him, a powerful wave of demonic energy shot out from him and destroyed all the spears.

"It bounced off him ?!" Kalawarner was agitated, especially from the frightening energy coming out of him. The two fallen angels also ended up feeling terrified.

"You're making fun of my waitress." The power of Demon Rias, which was now mixed with the crushing element, surged once again.

"Geez, you shouldn't piss her off. You did a good job mocking him, you silly angel." commented Akeno.

Rias sent out waves of her Destroying Power to all of them and they instantly disappeared from the face of the earth without even letting out a cry of grief.

"Let's go, Akeno. We shouldn't have let them wait." Rias cleaned herself up and started walking towards the church.

"Yes, Buch-"

"Now, now. Look what you've done to my precious little pet." Akeno is interrupted by a sudden intruder and an evil aura envelops them.
