Chapter 6

Thirty years ago, Vince Pearce was a human and a wizard, a criminal wizard. He had talent that was only below those who were considered geniuses. But when experiencing and obtaining magic power, he got drunk very quickly. He robbed, killed, robbed, and more with the help of his magic.

He was discovered when someone finally felt suspicious about him and reported to the Witch Association with some incomplete evidence of his cruelty.

Vince's name was already at the top of the Witch Association's criminal suspects list but no evidence was found when he was reported. So when they got little evidence, the Association Enforcement Department immediately went and searched his entire house and some of his known hideouts.

With all that was sought, they found a large amount of stolen goods, moreover, they found many corpses; skeletons, rotten, and fresh, most of them young women.

Fresh corpses were easily identified as missing women, and all of them were, to some degree, beautiful.

The association immediately issued a hunt and a huge reward on Vince's head. They almost caught him, when he suddenly disappeared, but in reality, he was helped by a Devil of quite high rank.

This Devil is one of the evil believers, the Devil-Devil must go to great lengths to bring chaos to the world. He and Vince get along well because of their outlook on life. Devil Vince was reincarnated as one of his own and took the position of bishop in his slaves.

Vince's actions were obviously the worst, but it didn't take long when the other Devils in the Underworld were fed up with his master's actions and took action against him. He, without hesitation, betrayed her and fled. The Underworld nicknamed him a B-rank wild Devil and another reward was placed on his head.

He returns to the human world and commits a massive killing, eating human flesh and soul to strengthen himself.

He then joins an organization called the Khaos Brigade and is sent to Kuoh City to investigate its ruler, the high-class Devil, Cleria Belial, and her lover, an exorcist, Masaomi Yaegaki.

It made him laugh when he heard that high-level Devils were in love with humans and exorcists at that moment.

He used the abandoned factory as a temporary base of operations while he was in Kuoh City. There were already a few people who had trespassed into this place for various reasons and he did all the same things to all of them, being killed and eaten.

One day, when he finished investigating for the day, he saw three children trespassing this time and he thought everything would be the same as last time. But a boy, who introduces himself as Urahara Kisuke shatters this idea. This kid looks like an 8-year-old with some sort of messy, almost pale young blonde hair which is quite rare.

Vince, despite his cruelty, is an experienced wizard and fighter. He had already fought with angels, fallen angels, youkai, and other Devils. He knows for sure that in order to use magic, you must create a magic circle as the source of the 'logic' spell and pour mana, Devil power, or your holy power to activate it. Of course, there were exceptions to this, the bloodline abilities possessed by top-class beings or the highest nobles in this world, the Sacred Gear that followed the reincarnation of humans, the precious tool that some factions stored, the Sacred Gear, and Senjutsu (Art of Sage) that uses natural energy in the atmosphere.

This Kisuke Urahara had just completed the spell of the lightning system known for its destructive nature with a single word and easily pierced through his strengthened body. The fuel for this spell seemed to be mana, but there was something different about the presence of this 'where' directly putting pressure on the soul, and this scares Vince because this is the first time he has discovered this kind of magic.

"W-What are you!?" Vince asked in panic. "How did you do it!" She added.

"What are you talking about, Devil-san?" Kisuke replied as he slowly walked towards Vince, "I am obviously a human child. As for how I did that, it was called Kidou (Devil Art), and you don't need to know specifically about it, just think of it as magic driven by my soul."

'A magic driven by your own soul!? That's just one way to kill yourself! This bastard really underestimated me.' Vince thought of Kisuke's answer.

"Your face tells me that you don't believe what I just said." Kisuke continued with a faint smile on his face. "Whatever, you won't live past this day, just tell you." Kisuke suddenly released his Reatsu (Spiritual Pressure) which weighed down on everything around him.

From Vince's point of view, some unknown force suddenly tries to push him to the ground and the feeling of imminent death becomes more pronounced. His instincts as a Devil had already told him to escape as quickly as possible and he had never been this close to death.

"UAHHH!!!" Vince shouted with red eyes, a circle of green-colored lines and a strange symbol appeared in front of Vince, with it, a green-colored fireball of various sizes appeared a second later and shot towards Kisuke.

"Bakudou No.44, Sekisho(Blocker)" Kisuke quietly muttered at the incoming fireball, and a fuzzy wall of light instantly appeared in front of him.

The fireball hit the wall and a huge explosion ensued that destroyed part of the factory. Vince saw no destruction and darted towards the location of Issei and Irina. Vince knew if he escaped outside, Kisuke would be able to catch him easily at the speed he had shown earlier, so he hoped to take the other two children as hostages, that was the only way he thought he could survive this fallen disaster.

He easily reached the place where Kisuke hid the two, but they could not be found anywhere. He tried to search near the area, but he did not even see their shadows.

"You won't find it anywhere because I hid it well." Kisuke's voice finally echoed behind him. Vince looked back and saw Kisuke walking towards him amidst the smoke and debris while giving him a mocking smile.

Vince was shocked because even though he did not expect him to die, he hoped he would be seriously injured since he used almost all of his Devil power for the attack, which was a huge blow, but he came out only with his dusty and tangled clothes.

"WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Just die with me then." Vince's last strand of excuses is broken and only chooses to die with his hateful enemy. His body suddenly swelled up three times its size and began to emit green flames everywhere.

"Seriously? You gave up too soon." Kisuke commented while looking at Vince's state. "Oh well, you can go alone, I don't have a dead-end hobby with weird parents. Hako Okuri (Farewell Box)."

A transparent blue box appeared around the Devil. Vince, along with the blue box disappeared and a huge explosion was heard in the distance a few seconds later.
