Chapter 69

"Did he just drop five giant pillars on Kisuke? Is he trying to turn it into pasta?" Aika was amazed at the turn of events. He was worried that Kisuke was killed with that move now.

"Kisuke-senpai is very strong. I think he's just trying to stop her from moving." Koneko sees Yoruichi's intention but she is still quite worried about his senpai who hasn't moved for a while now.

Both of them were very nervous about Kisuke's situation and wanted to approach the barrier because there was no movement from Yoruichi and Kisuke. But just as they were about to leave their position, Yoruichi suddenly kicked the ground and jumped backwards to gain some distance from Kisuke. Aika and Koneko are confused by Yoruichi's reaction but choose to remain still and not move.

After a few seconds since Yoruichi had retreated, the five giant pillars that were pinning Kisuke to the ground suddenly started to tremble. The first few seconds were just minute movements but after a minute or two, the pillar started cracking and vibrating even harder. Immediately after the pillar was sent upwards with a roar Kisuke destroyed it in the process.

"Ck." Yoruichi clicked his tongue, but he had expected this to happen, although not as fast, I knew my Kidou would not seal it for long, but this was still too short. Sealing is not easy for me without my artifacts from my Clan. I will only waste my Reiatsu if I repeatedly do that and he continues to get stronger as time goes on. Is the fusion of Ki and Reiryoku still going on and reinforcing itself? I guess I can only exchange blows with him."

Kisuke's appearance was mostly covered in white matter that doubled his size and made him look like a bodybuilder. A lizard-like tail appeared behind him along with spikes protruding from various parts of his body. Dark green tattoos also began to appear all over his body coming from the hole in his chest. His overall appearance would instantly think that he was a monster coming out of a fantasy book. The only way to tell the difference is light blonde hair and usually clothes that have been mostly destroyed.

Aika and Koneko were frightened by Kisuke's appearance. Although her physical appearance was not a nightmare, the aura she was emitting right now was frightening, especially for Aika who was unfamiliar with these things. He was already sitting, trembling and unable to speak. Koneko fared better, but she was also unable to move from her place.

Koneko bit her lips and traces of blood flowed from her mouth, but she was able to regain her composure, even if only a little. He gripped his pendant and went behind Aika who almost lost her consciousness injecting a bit of her Ki to calm Aika down. Although it was not an effective Kisuke spell, it was still very much needed for Aika's current condition.

Aika looked behind her after a little calm and saw Koneko's determined expression and a trace of blood from biting her lips. Aika woke up from that sight, 'This is no good.' Aika thinks that only Ki Koneko helped her to calm down, "Thank you." He stood up and cleaned himself up, putting his hands on the pendant after he finished, "Is that Kisuke? Is he gonna be okay?"

Koneko returned her attention to the two figures who started exchanging blows that shook the barrier along with the entire training ground. This was the first time he had seen Yoruichi put on a very serious expression and knew that Kisuke was not in a good position, "I don't know, I don't know, but Yoruichi is going to do something because it doesn't seem like it's the first time he's seen something like this."

"All I can say is that they cannot achieve such a force simply by leaving peacefully." Koneko shook her head and looked at the figure of Yoruichi who appeared and disappeared and Kisuke wildly swung his sword while roaring.

Yoruichi maneuvered around Kisuke and delivered kicks and punches to Kisuke's body, but the most he could do was leave some cracks in his ivory body that instantly regenerated, 'This will not work. His body was too sturdy so I could not leave any long-term damage. His reiatsu also increased which increased his defense even further. "Shunko (Driver)!" Yoruichi's orange t-shirt was destroyed leaving only a black, backless, sleeveless t-shirt and lightning dancing around him. He raised his Reiats further forming a pair of lightning wings that were generated from his back.

Aika and Koneko, of course, are fascinated by Yoruichi's sudden outburst.

"It's cool," Aika muttered involuntarily and Koneko nodded in agreement and clenched her fists, 'I will be able to do similar things in the future.'

Yoruichi did not wait any further and rushed towards Kisuke and jumped up placing him right below him, "Raiouken (Thunder King's Boxing)!" He sent out a series of extremely high-speed punches clad in lightning that were sent out using both of his hands.

The ground was completely destroyed leaving Kisuke under him. The barrier was also largely destroyed and Yoruichi retreated to repair the barrier. He deactivated Shunko and took a deep breath while repairing the cracks on the barrier.

Yoruichi never let his focus leave Kisuke but he still underestimated him, because while he was busy repairing the barrier, Kisuke suddenly used Sonido to appear beside him without waiting for his wound to heal. Kisuke's body cracked everywhere and half of his mask shattered, revealing his face without any emotion other than anger.

Yoruichi is able to react in time and uses Hakuda Ikkotsu (Single Bone) technique to hit him on his stomach, sending him away with his stomach almost crushed. But Yoruichi felt something was wrong when he landed his punch and he was right. Kisuke uses a Sonido variant, Gemelos Sonido (Sound Twins) creates a mock-like shadow, a, and Yoruichi right hit Kisuke's shadow and he who was actually behind him blew it up with a red colored energy leaving a huge wound behind him and sent it away like a meteor.

However, before Yoruichi hit the restored barrier wall, Kisuke appeared in front of him again by using Sonido again and grabbed his neck. Yoruichi grimaced in pain and tried to open his hand but to no avail. He could not gather his Reiats as he still felt dizzy from the explosion earlier. He saw Kisuke start compressing the dark green Cero (Hollow Flash) from his mouth, 'I'll die if it hits me.'
