Kisuke Uruhara On DXD

Kisuke Uruhara On DXD
Chapter 101

Everyone turned their heads in shock, except for a little white-haired girl, to where the voice came from and the young man continued to speak, "Oh, hey, hey, it's a good day for all of you and I'm sorry for interrupting, it's not my right to speak, but I have a suggestion. How about you do this Rating Game that I heard so much about to solve your problem?"

The youth, Urahara Kisuke was sitting on a chair located beside the Rias table with hot tea on it. He was wearing the standard uniform of Kuoh Academy as well as a green and white striped hat that did not match his clothes at all.

Grayfia's vigilance suddenly surged and asked, "Why are you here? And how did you get in here without anyone notifying?" He glared at her and focused his pressure on Kisuke.

Kisuke raised both his hands in surrender but the smile on his face was still not lost, "Wait wait wait wait wait! I'm only here because I'm seeking refuge."

"Protection? What are you running from? And why here?" Grayfia did not loosen her stance as she continued to question him.

"A Demon girl in bob-cut glasses is currently eyeing my neck. And since he's also a Devil, I think other Devils can stop him and talk to him with common sense." Kisuke blurted out an impromptu excuse without stuttering or hesitation.

When Kisuke describes his pursuers, they all have a shadow of Sona on their heads. Rias, Sona's good friend wanted to confirm this and asked her, "Are you referring to Sona Sitri?"

"Ya~." Kisuke lowered his hand and replied.

Grayfia eased her aura but she did not let it off guard around her, especially after she slipped in without her noticing. He also knows the young woman and the heir of the Sitri House and how she acts. He knew that he wouldn't chase someone without a good reason if this man was telling the truth, "Why is he chasing you?"

"Because where is currently playing a game called 'The Hero's Road'. Sona-kaichou plays the role of Hero and I play the role of Demon King and the last boss he has to defeat. But he's so involved that now he wants my head off my shoulder." Kisuke shrugged his shoulders and sighed resignedly, even though deep down, he was having fun.

They were all confused especially those who knew Sona personally because they were so sure that she would never play a silly game as seriously as she did.

Grayfia didn't ask any further about the game they were playing when she thought that Kisuke was trying to throw it away by focusing the subject on something ridiculous and unbelievable, "If that's the case, then, why are you hiding your presence to all of us?"

"You're wrong, maid-san. I did not hide my presence from all of you. Who do you think serves this tea for me?" Kisuke defends 'his innocence'.

Rias, Akeno and Yuuto reacted to her words. Due to their superhuman senses, they smelled the scent coming from the tea, then the three of them looked towards Koneko in shock as the tea had the same scent when she made it, "Koneko... tea?" Rias asked.

Koneko nodded at her question which made Grayfia furrow her brows deeper in contemplation, 'He is able to manipulate her aura to the extent that he can only reveal it to a select few individuals? Although he was not strong, his talent for control was terrifying.'

"When did he show up here?" Akeno continued with another question. He knew what Kisuke was capable of and only he and Koneko knew about it so he was quite worried about his presence.

"He's been here that long!? Why didn't you tell us he entered the room!? And how did he hide his presence that even Grayfia was unaware of!?" Rias did not like how others easily entered her domain without her noticing.

"She told me that she was here just to watch the drama and pass the time. He will leave if Sona-kaichou will arrive. How he hid his presence... I don't know." Koneko did not break her expression as she answered him as she was already expecting these things when she realized that Kisuke stormed the room with a grin while wearing his favorite hat, even though it did not look good in his uniform.

"D-dramas? Spend time!?" Rias's mouth twitched at the unexpected answer.

But before he could react any further, Kisuke spoke, explaining how he hid his presence, "I am quite confident with my Senjutsu skills and the maid-san here is not actively searching for her surroundings. I came here with no ill intentions so he failed to detect me."

"Even then, it shouldn't be possible to hide from him." Rias glared at him.

"Please... Even if you have the strongest detection skill, you wouldn't mind harmless insects coming into your reach, would you? And besides, I can't do it for long. See how my concentration broke when he unleashed his Demon Power so wildly?" Kisuke's smile grew bigger with his gaze.

Grayfia did not let Rias say more as she realized that she had become agitated around her presence more than Riser and supported her claim, "She was right. His senjutsu was strong enough to mimic the aura of a mosquito. I detected a mosquito coming in but paid it no heed."

"...Who is this guy? Why is this man interfering in our affairs?" Staying silent for a while, Riser finally raised his voice.

"Oh, how rude of me. Urahara Kisuke, just a humble candy store owner. Nice to meet you." Kisuke lifted his hat for a while as he introduced himself and put it back on, "As I said before, I only seek refuge in this room, please don't mind me. I suggested the Rating Game just because I was quite curious about it."

Riser snorted at her and completely ignored her. He had already underestimated him because he was just an ordinary Human.

Issei and Asia are confused by Kisuke's presence but they deal with it quickly because they know that he will just appear everywhere like a ghost. What caught their attention was the Rating Game he was talking about. Issei asked his senpai to become a Devil, Yuuto, "What is this Rating Game?"

"A contest that pits teams of servants against each other." Yuuto did not disappoint his expectations and continued, "This game affects the hierarchy in the Devil Society so it should be taken seriously. But I Buchou still can't compete in it because she hasn't become an adult Devil."

Grayfia put Kisuke aside first because this was an opportunity to continue their discussion, but her attention did not leave her completely because she might do something, "As you say, The madam has not been able to participate in formal games, but underage Devils may be involved in unofficial matches. There are many examples like that. And as Urahara said, the Rating Game was also an option as a last resort. Miss, if you insist on doing so, then how about you settle this with the Rating Game."

Rias also ignored Kisuke for now and continued explaining after Grayfia, "What!?"

Even Riser was surprised by his words as it was not easy to obtain permission to start an even unofficial Rating Game, 'Did he just agree with humans?... No, it's not possible. It was prepared before.'
