At the back of the shop, two figures stood in the middle of a 150-square-meter vacant lot surrounded by a two-meter-high wooden fence.
The night sky is clear of any clouds. The light of the moon and stars provides enough illumination for those who roam.
The first figure was a petite girl with white hair cracking her knuckles preparing for the upcoming fight. The second figure, however, just stood there looking up while scratching his head like he was thinking hard.
"... Can we start?" The first figure, which Koneko asked while still putting on a flat expression.
"You can beat him now." Yoruichi, who was sitting on top of the fence just a few meters away from them, replied.
Koneko did not say anything more and only attacked him with the intention of punching him in the stomach.
When Koneko's fist was about to land, Kisuke suddenly moved to the side and held it outstretched, they threw it into the air, falling several meters from Kisuke's back.
Koneko just lay on her back facing the night sky still could not believe what had just happened. Kisuke's actions were too quick for him to react.
"It's not that I'm too fast, it's just that you're too focused on hitting me and the core of the sparring is thrown away." Kisuke's voice suddenly resounded.
Kisuke looked at her with a wide grin on his face, "Should we start sparring now?"
Koneko flipped towards Kisuke in an attempt to kick him in the face, but he only dodged by jumping backwards.
Now standing face to face again, Koneko glared at Kisuke, "You tricked me, senpai."
"Hahaha~. Fighting isn't just about fighting prowess, it includes everything on the battlefield, especially your feelings and thoughts." Kisuke only pretended to be thinking hard when in reality, he noticed Koneko's every move.
"You were also too focused on the idea of beating me when Yoruichi told you so." Kisuke continued to explain.
"Let's see, If you're in a life or death battle right now, you're going to fight for your life right now." Kisuke opened his hand and showed it to Koneko.
"My hairpin... when are you..!!" Koneko involuntarily touched the part of her hair where the hairpin had been before.
"It's time to get serious, isn't it?" Kisuke stuffed his hairpin into his pocket. He saw something strange on one of them and wanted to check it out later before returning it to Koneko.
Koneko remained silent and attacked Kisuke again, but this time, with more caution and seriousness.
Koneko threw punches and storm kicks while maneuvering around Kisuke but he continued to dodge while occasionally stabbing various parts of his body, such as forehead, cheeks, thighs, legs, stomach, and others.
This infuriated Koneko relentlessly and she stopped holding back which left many holes in the ground behind her.
Kisuke is just doing the same thing as before, poking in various places seems to be having fun.
About ten minutes into their 'debate', Yoruichi was enough, "Stop!"
"Wait, Koneko-chan! We're done sparring." Kisuke raised his hand to surrender.
"No. I didn't punch you in the face." Koneko replied and continued throwing punches at him, focusing mainly on his face.
"But I didn't poke the 'very' private part, did I?" Kisuke simply avoided everything Koneko threw at him without poking back again.
"...Anyway, I still want your face." Koneko was already blinded by anger but not so obvious as she only had a frown and tears that would fall on her face.
"Well, this is my face." Kisuke suddenly stopped moving and offered his head.
Koneko did not think too much about it and did so at full strength. He thinks that Kisuke is playing him again.
But to Koneko's surprise, her fists connected to her face and made her fly, making a hole through the wooden fence only to stop after crashing into the concrete wall of the building near the candy store that made some cracks on it. Kisuke slumped to the ground, motionless.
Koneko finally processed what had just happened and ran towards Kisuke, "Senpai!!!"
He was extremely worried and nervous because the strength he used just now was enough to kill any normal human being.
Koneko reached Kisuke and checked him out. His pulse was too slow and had no consciousness. Evidently, he would be dead in a few minutes.
Koneko was very panicked because she did not know any healing techniques and the hospital was very far from where they were and very few cars, she said, he would not succeed even he started to carry her now and ran with all his might. Tears started flowing real this time. Even though his senpai was a pervert, different from any man he had met so far, he did not give off a feeling of lust despite his actions, it was something different.
Koneko, after spending a few days playing with him, finally discovered what it was. It was just pure admiration for beauty.
In her curiosity, Koneko sometimes spends her free time going and buying some snacks from the Urahara Shop and watching the antics of the male and cat couple.
Before long, Kisuke treats Koneko like his little sister, just like how he treated Ururu and Jinta in the past. And Koneko also thinks of her as one of her few friends, even if she always bothered her.
Koneko intends to call her master, Rias Gremory, to beg her to reincarnate Kisuke as a demon servant. He will only apologize and ask for punishment later to Kisuke. The important thing for him now was to keep his senpai safe and alive.
Just as she was about to call Rias, 'Kisuke' suddenly appeared like a balloon. Koneko just knelt down not knowing what to do when she suddenly heard Yoruichi's voice from behind, "You've done it now, Kisuke."
Koneko does not understand Yoruichi's words and has no intention of doing so as she has a bigger problem to see where her senpai body is going before it's too late.
"Even if you don't tell me that, I'll feel guilty." Koneko heard this voice and she flicked her head to look towards the origin of the sound. There he sees Kisuke beside the cat scratching his face in shame looking safe and sound. His eyes widened in shock not knowing what to make of this situation.
"Ma.mmm..." Kisuke also did not know how to respond as he did not expect to get that much reaction from that stoic little girl.
All he could do now was make it a joke. He took out his fan and put it on his face and laughed, "Hahaha, you've been bullied!"
