The next day, Issei and Asia return home from their school activities without Rias because she has an urgent meeting with the Chairman of OSIS.
Just as they were about to open the door of their house, the two suddenly froze. They felt a very familiar aura coming from within the house, the aura of an exorcist.
Issei hurriedly opened the door and called out to her mother frantically in remembrance of the first time she met Freed who killed someone who had come into contact with the Devil, "Mom!!!"
He and Asia ran through the corridor and reached the living room. They were greeted by Issei's mother and two foreign girls wearing priestly standard clothes with one of them having a sword-like object wrapped in bandages, "Oh, welcome to Issei's home, Asia. What's with that look?"
"B-mother?" Issei checked her mother's condition first to see if she was injured anywhere. Asia from behind heaved a sigh of relief after making sure that Issei's mother was safe.
Issei then turned his attention to the two guests, 'Are they, exorcists?' He raised his vigilance to the maximum and prepared to summon his Boosted Gear if anything were to happen.
One of the girls stood up and greeted Issei familiarly, "Hi, Issei-kun~."
'He knows me?' Issei looked at him with a serious and confused expression, "It's nice to meet you..."
The girl was a beautiful young lady with purple eyes. She has long chestnut hair that is usually tied into twintails, each tied with a tie of blue hair.
Beside her, sitting quietly was a young lady who was as beautiful as her chin-length blue hair with a painted green fringe on the right side and dark yellow eyes.
The girl with the twintail realized Issei's confusion and pointed to herself, "Huh? You don't remember me?"
Seeing Issei struggling to remember him, Miki put up a photo album they saw a moment ago and pointed to the image with the Sacred Sword, in particular, the boy besides him and Kisuke, "This girl is Irina Shidou-chan. She might have been a tomboy back then, but she grew into a beautiful woman. I was surprised too."
"...Huh uh?" Issei took a few seconds to process his words, 'Girl?'
"Remember now~?"
"What's!? I bet you're a man!!!" Issei couldn't believe it.
"I don't think it's any good. I've always loved playing with boys and I'm a troublemaker." Irina smiled wryly looking at her expression but it was her turn to be confused, "But I remember that I dressed like a girl just the day before I went abroad."
"That's...I think you must have some weird hobby like Kisuke..."
"What's!? So rude! Stop putting me on the same level as that guy!" Irina retorted but she calmed down immediately, "Ehem... After all, a lot has happened since I left." The girl with blue hair beside her suddenly stood up prompting Issei to call out to Ddraig in her mind to materialize the Boosted Gear as they moved. But as much as possible, he did not want to do anything in front of his mother.
'I don't know how strong they are and seeing them makes my skin tickle. But the real danger here comes from that wrapped item. It's like it would kill me if it hit me.'
Irina looked at Issei's expression as she looked towards the bandaged sword and said, "That's right. You never know what will happen when people reunite."
'He knows I'm the Devil... If he's like Freed, then I'll have to risk my life to get Asia and my mom out of here.' Taking a stand, he waited for their next action.
Irina chuckled at his actions and said, "Don't worry. We're leaving now. I haven't been back to Japan in a long time, so I feel nostalgic and just have to come and say hello." Irina faced her friend, "But it's time we go, right, Xenovia?"
"Yes." Yeah." Xenovia answered briefly.
The two of them then face Miki and bow as standard Japanese etiquette and thank her for her hospitality.
"I wish you could stay longer." Miki led them to the door.
"Oh, we might pass again sometime. But until then, see you, Issei-kun~." They turned and left. But before they could leave the backyard, Xenovia turned around while holding a draped sword and looked at Issei, "I'll be ready at any time." There were no distractions this time and they were gone for good.
A few minutes later, Rias ran after them, "Issei! Asia!" She hugged the two of them tightly, "Thank God you're all fine. Are you hurt? What did they do to you?"
It took a few minutes to calm Rias down. He explains that Sona called him early because some church affiliates made contact with him. They wished they could talk and negotiate with the Devils who run the city that was them.
"Why do the people of the Church negotiate with Satan?" ask Issei.
"To be honest, I don't know what they want. They'll meet us in the clubroom tomorrow after school."
"Is that really a good idea?"
"I heard them swear to their Lord that they will not attack us. For the members of the priestesses who came to the Devil for help, they must be really in an emergency." Rias sat on Issei's bed and put on a serious expression, "I also heard that the priests who visited the city were slaughtered. I wonder if they're here because of that little problem." He muttered.

"Where do you want to go next? Should we find a place to stay?" Xenovia asked Irina as they walked on the streets in the suburbs.
"I want to go somewhere else. I'm surprised Issei-kun became a Devil and I hope that doesn't happen to him. And more importantly, I want him to explain something." Irina replied with a disappointed face, I think we are enemies from now on... I hope Kisuke doesn't become a Devil...'
"Is that your other childhood friend? What do you want to ask him?" Xenovia looked at him curiously.
"Remember when we first encountered the Devil and were lost at that time?"
"Yes... We almost died for that."
"I'm pretty sure it's not the first time I've met him... And more hostile than we first met."
"What...? Then why are you still alive? Did the devil let you go? Why are you keeping this a secret?"
"Because I also don't know how to interpret the event itself ..."
"so... So you want to ask your other childhood friend I thought you were with at the time?"
"Yes... Issei-kun is also with us but he doesn't seem to remember anything like it ever happened..."
"Tell me your story..."
"When we were kids, I always played around pretending to be a priest like my father and would go around 'exorcising ghosts'."
"So you've been like this since you were a kid."
"Let me finish!"
"..."
“There was one incident where I dragged Issei-kun and Kisuke with me to go to an abandoned factory that I accidentally found. And as usual, I pretended to be a priest while the two acted as my assistants. It also serves as a test of courage for us. Although it is very annoying that Kisuke always walks around a scary place with an indifferent attitude... He's a weird kid." Irina finally chuckled as she recalled the past.
