92. My Husband Candidate's Secret

As usual, this morning Nurwa came with a bushel of food to be brought to Adam's family. Although the situation is difficult, but he already considers that Adam's family is his own family. His mother did too.

"Mas Adam?" Nurwa saw Adam coming out of the house. "You want to go to work?" ask again.

Adam was surprised to see the woman coming this morning. He glanced at his watch. There wasn't even 06:00 in the morning. However, Nurwa was already standing before him.

"Hm. I have business first," said Adam as if.

Nurwa smiled faintly at him. "This morning?" Not that I don't want to believe, just look at the doubts in Adam's words.

Adam is not a man who lies easily, that is the reason why Nurwa maintains his feelings.

Nurwa. "I didn't know that a private tutoring place like that had this kind of morning hours."

She glanced at the food behind Adam's back. Apparently, Adam tried to hide it from Nurwa.

"Ah, this bushel?" Adam seemed to know what was inside Nurwa's head. "Withme."

"I'm going to work longer than usual so I'm thinking of bringing food." Adam tried to smile on his lips. "It's a form of saving too."

Nurwa only knew one fact about Adam. This guy won't talk much and explain if he's not asked unless he's trying to cover something up.

"I also brought you fried chicken for breakfast this morning. I didn't know that Mas Adam was leaving early." Nurwa. "If I pack? Could be an extra side dish."

Adam was silent for a moment. He's thinking. His head shook then. "It's been a lot, Nur. Thanks."

"You can go inside and offer it to mom and Rinjani. They will like it" replied Adam. He smiled again. "I have to leave immediately. I'll call you back."

Adam walked away after he finished wearing his shoes. Nurwa is just mangosteen. Also, there is nothing to argue about right now. Nurwa's suspicions were also unfounded.

"Mas Adam!" Nurwa called out her name. Stopped Adam's footsteps. "Later in the afternoon, Ms. Siti, the mother's seamstress, wanted to measure Mas Adam's clothes for the application."

Adam remained silent.

"Bu Wanda asked us to wear the same clothes" Nurwa added. "You have time later in the afternoon? We're going there together."

Adam was silent again. He could not give a definite answer.

"Can't?" Nurwa. "The proposal is two weeks away" Nurwa said. "We have to deepen things."

"Siti's Mbak's bit is good, but the workmanship is long. Could take a week, we'll be late." Nurwa was constantly talking. I don't know why, Adam wasn't as sure as before.

Adam mangosteen. "Let's try it." She smiled sweetly. "Later to call again" he added. "Now I have to go first, Nur."

Smile over Nurwa's pink lips. "Good, Mas. I'm waiting for you."

Adam's gone. Nurwa could only look at him from afar. His back disappeared after turning at the end of the alley. There was a lot of feeling in Nurwa's heart. Doubt comes little by little.

"Nur?" Wanda called Nurwa slowly. The woman looked.

"Mom Wanda?" Nurwa reached out and kissed Wanda on the back. "I brought you my mom's fried chicken. Miss Wanda would love to."

Wanda smiled sweetly. "False, Nur. You are always like this. I'm not feeling good."

Nurwa. "It's okay, Mom. We'll be a family after I get married to Adam."

Wanda rubbed Nurwa's back, once again she smiled so sweetly.

"By the way, two nights ago you helped Adam?" ask Wanda suddenly. "I just got a chance to say thank you this morning, son."

Nurwa frowned. He didn't do anything.

"Adam two days ago came home and surprised me as well as Rinjani." Wanda sighed. "His hands were bandaged and his face was slightly injured. His clothes were dirty and his pants were torn. He got hit by people."

Nurwa widened her eyes. He doesn't know anything.

"I told him to take a few days off, but he only took two days off. He stubbornly let go of his bandage." Wanda stroked the soft chest. "He looks like his father. Ambitious."

Nurwa could not answer anything at all. Adam seems to be lying to his mother. It wasn't Nurwa who helped Adam, there were others.

Wanda looked at Nurwa again. "Thank you again for being Adam's guardian that night. I don't know what if there's no you, Nur."

"Adam doesn't like hospitals, he can mess up if he takes care of everything himself" Wanda said. "Thank you again."

Nurwa just smiled. He can't break Wanda's trust. Though he actually wanted to know who helped Adam that night.

Adam didn't even say anything to Nurwa about her little accident.

"Laura?" inner Nurwa's.
