104. The Hero without a Face

"Adam?" Wanda's voice drew Adam's focus coming at her. The woman approached Adam who was wearing his work boots.

She smiled sweetly. Sit next to Adam. "Don't forget to bring an umbrella. It will be raining again in the afternoon" said Wanda half-smile. He glanced at Adam, occasionally looking the other way.

Adam nodded in understanding. He already knew Wanda's arrival this time, what's the aim for?

He looked at his son, then smiled sweetly. "Your marriage and Laura's failed, neither entirely your fault nor entirely Laura's."

Adam took a breath. "Why talk about it, Mom? It had absolutely nothing to do with my decision to marry Nurwa."

"Of course there is!" Wanda slightly snapped, the only time Adam spoke half-consciously.
