62. Marrying Will

Laura was silent as she endured the pain in both knees as Adam pressed the red medicine over her wound. Laura did not think, the wound on Adam's forehead is much worse than the wound on Laura's knee and elbow at this time. But Adam was more concerned with Laura.

"I'll talk to the principal about our marriage." Adam spoke potently. "You don't have to worry, just go to class and study."

Laura turned her face away. She almost cried, but was still stubborn to hold it.

Adam took out Laura's necklace which he kept in his pants pocket. "He also returned the necklace taken from you by force."

Laura remained silent. He was forced to accept Adam's gift without having the opportunity to ask any questions.

"That was Almira. He stole her wedding book" Adam said firmly. "I've known that since they came home yesterday. However, I can't ...."

"Sir Adam is silent?" Laura squinted her eyes. "Sir Adam was silent when Almira held the marriage book?" Laura is getting stronger. Suddenly he rebelled. "Look at what's happening now!"

"Don't you know!" That's all that Laura could say. He couldn't possibly explain all of his difficult situations to these people.

"I thought you'd marry a rich man with a future. However, it turns out instead choose a new teacher whose salary is equivalent to your pocket money?" his friend again.

Laura refused to press. He continued his footsteps and tried to ignore all the voices that were trying to judge and insult him.

At the end of the hallway, he saw Belen standing watching everything without reacting to anything. Just as Laura was about to call out to him, Belen turned away. The girl chose to leave Laura alone.

Laura understood, Belen must be angry and hateful to her.
