"Hey! Don't run!" Adam shouting. His breathing was breathless, forcing footsteps continuously trying to slash the distance between them.
Adam stopped in his place. "Austenance!" his yell. "Can you stop first? I'm tired!"
Kirana. When he saw Adam stopping beside the streetlight, his footsteps stopped. The distance was quite far from the position Adam was standing at this moment.
The girl was tired too. She ran in high heels and a short skirt that was so tight, plus her clothes were slightly exposed, making her uncomfortable.
Adam looked. "Why did you run?" askanya, while continuing to try to catch her breath. "I'm not gonna charge you anything."
"Because you're after me!" replied Kirana firmly.
"That's because you ran away all of a sudden!" Adam menuke. Slowly he walked closer to Kirana, while lightly kneading the side of his stomach that felt pierced.
Kirana retreated, as Adam's advancing footsteps approached her. "Why are you following?" ask Kirana suspiciously. "Because of you I have to lose my Rp 300,000!"
Adam smiled smirkily. "Who just ran away?"
"Why blame me?" Kirana. "You shouldn't suddenly appear so!" He grumbled.
Adam stopped in his place. His gaze was fixed on Kirana's bloody knee. "Your knee is injured, want to be treated first?"
Kira looked down. Blood flowed from his knees. It turned out to be what made it feel so heavy to step foot.
Kirana stops Adam with her hand. "Don't come any closer!"
Unfortunately Adam ignored Kirana.
"I told you not to come any closer!" Kirana snaps. "If you still yell, I'll yell at the propeller and people will come to—" Kirana's sentence came to a halt when Adam suddenly knelt in front of her.
Adam took a breath. "You can stand running with your legs like this?" tanyakanya.
Adam took out his handkerchief. Wiping blood under Kirana's wounds. "Wait there, I'll buy you some red medicine."
Kirana did not answer. He did not know this man at all, but Adam was so familiar with him.
"No need!" Kirana prevented Adam from turning away. "Don't pretend to care about me!" resounding.
Kirana is so foreign to the treatment of people like this. He had no parents, no one paid attention to him and cared about him. Even when Kirana was dying and starving to death, no one would help her.
Adam took a breath. "Don't be chatty!" ketus Adam's. He pointed at the seats on the sidewalk, deliberately reserved for road users. "Wait there. I'll be here in 10 minutes."
Adam approached Kirana. Pull the girl's hand and give her tote bag. "Don't try to run away, or report you for stealing my bag" he said.
Kirana was not given a chance to answer, the man just walked away. Enter the minimarket which happens to be not far from where they stand.
Kirana. He took a long breath. "He's a nice guy, but why does Laura insist on divorcing him?"
>>>><<<<
"You didn't go anyway" said Adam, coming with a medium-sized plastic bag.
Kirana. He clutched Adam's tote bag, afraid that someone might steal it.
"You told me to stay here" Kirana murmured. He handed the bag to Adam. But Adam did not accept it. The man instead crouched down in front of Kirana, focusing on the girl's injuries.
"It looks like it's going to hurt a little, can you hold it?" ask Adam. He looked up at Kirana.
This girl really looks young. Only, his appearance was much more mature than his age.
Kirana nodded unconvinced. All sorts of pain had been exhausted, but for the physical, he was unsure.
Adam took the water and watered his wound. Terrible with the tissue he bought as well.
"Why do you still run if you know your knees like this?" Adam murmuring. He was so painstakingly treating Kirana's wounds.
Kirana. "Because you're after me."
Kirana gave a long sigh. He distracts. Staring at Adam continuously would only make him feel guilty.
"I'm divorced from Laura" Adam murmured suddenly. The focus did not shift, still on Kirana's wounds.
Kirana stared at Adam's head. "Because of me?"
Adam smiled faintly. His head was sure. "Because of infidelity. That's what it says."
Kirana slurped. His guilt comes to dominate. However, he was too embarrassed to admit that.
"I don't know Laura" Kirana told a lie. "I don't know Daffa either."
"I didn't mention Daffa's name" Adam chuckled. "You admitted it."
Kirana surprised. Stupid him!
Adam drips their medicine over Kirana's wounds. The girl groaned slowly.
"I'll assume you don't know them" Adam said. "If you really want that."
Adam started to close the wound of the girl slowly. "I just want to make sure I'm innocent."
Kirana felt pain in both of her eyes. Adam made his heart melt in an instant. This kind of small attention was what Kirana wanted from the people closest to her.
Adam woke up when he finished treating his wound. He handed the rest of the red medicine and handsaplast to Kirana. "Replace the handsaplast and red medicine again if still injured. Do not let dirt and dust, do not use to run as well. It will be more pain."
Kirana didn't say a word. He only accepted Adam's gift.
Adam smiled faintly. "I'm saying good," he said.
Kirana stopped Adam. He pulled the tip of the man's tote bag. "Sir Adam .. That's your name, right?"
Adam mangosteen. "Adam Dhanurendra's. Dhanurendra is my father's name. It's like a clan in ...."
"I don't care" Kirana replied firmly. Adam was silent. His intention was to be funny, to melt the atmosphere.
Kirana took a breath, throwing it away slowly. "Laura and Daffa told me to." He ventured. "I need money, so I do."
Adam slurped. Mangosteen forced. "I'll try to understand it."
"Sir Adam never cheated. We had no relationship and we did nothing that night" Kirana said.
"I know this won't change anything, but I want Mr. Adam to be sure of that sentence." Kirana.
Adam smiled sweetly. His head nodded, understanding it.
"Also ...." Kirana started to doubt. "I'm sorry" he said, looking down. "I was wrong."
Adam approached. Swiping the top of Kirana's head. He remembered Rinjani. "If you meet Laura, please tell her this."
Kirana. Staring at Adam full of question marks.
"He must live happily, for it is his decision." Adam smiled faintly.
The man nodded again. "Never get drunk on the street again. That's dangerous."
Adam closed his sentence. "I'll go first. Take care of yourself."
"Why didn't Adam say that to him himself?" Kirana.
Adam smiled sweetly. "Maybe .. am I too cowardly?" chortled. "I avoided it. Don't ask me why, I don't know."
