Hell's Charm From My Wife

Hell's Charm From My Wife
30. Apologies

Knowing Adam was sitting in the dining room, having his makeshift breakfast made this morning, Laura ventured to meet the man.

"Sir Adam," call Laura. Standing up while folding his hands forward, he looked like a girl who was found guilty in front of his father.

Adam looked up when Laura called him. The focus is no longer on the phone screen with the busyness this morning.

"You're awake apparently?" Adam chattering. Researching Laura's neat appearance, as it used to be when Adam first saw Laura.

"I thought you'd wake up later." Adam smiled as he could. "I didn't see you enter the house yesterday. I honestly thought you were going with Daffa."

There's probably being insinuated, that's what's inside Laura's head.

"You can have breakfast and go to school. We go to the bus stop together." Adam added again. Pushing the empty bowl at Laura. "I bought some soup."

Laura was unmoved, still in guilt.

"Don't like soup?" Adam tried to recognize Laura. "Want me to buy you something?"

Laura shook her head. Slowly she sat down in front of Adam, taking something out of her short skirt pocket.

Laura handed over the wedding ring that Adam had given to Daffa yesterday. "I'm looking for him."

Adam was slapped. He is a selfish and reckless man, that's what Wanda says sometimes.

"That's why Mr. Adam didn't see me coming into the house" Laura explained. "I'm trying to find him. I'm afraid someone's taking it."

Adam took a breath, held it for a moment, then exhaled it violently. "Maura ...."

"I'm sorry!" Laura suddenly snapped.

It's no lie that Adam was surprised.

"I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have called Daffa yesterday" Laura said, hiding her face. Laura had never apologized to anyone. The strength of her papa and the money she had made Laura never learn that far.

Adam took the ring. "Why not go with Daffa?" tanyanya while wearing back the ring on her ring finger. "I've allowed you. I told you I wouldn't limit what you want to do."

Laura doesn't know either. When Daffa arrived yesterday, he felt an immeasurable relief. However, the feeling of relief and happiness can not move his heart to back in favor of his ex-girlfriend.

"Will not answer?" Adam smiled at Laura. "No problem. You can answer whenever you want."

"Eat. The hunt is late" said Adam ordered. He knew this conversation would become stale and boring.

Adam said, "After school I'll wait for you at the back stop of school. We can go home together."

"Why should ...." Laura replaced the sentence as she stared at Adam's pair of eyes. Adam was serious about his orders. At least Laura should show her regret.

Laura sighed. "Hmm, okay."

Laura did not put a mouthful of rice in her mouth. To be honest, there was not a single thought Adam could understand. Even up to this point, Laura was not sure whether or not her husband was a good man.

Sometimes Adam seems to care. Ada does everything based on the sympathy she has, putting her feelings and trying to understand Laura. However, at the same time Adam's indifferent attitude sometimes makes Laura's trust waver just like that.

Adam looked so calm, but it was precisely the calm water that was the most dangerous and kept many surprises in it.

"You didn't ask why?" ask Adam again. "I am your husband and I should have taken your rights."

"Because you're embarrassed?" Laura guessed the origin. "I'm not sure I can hide this pregnancy any longer than I thought."

Laura smiled wryly. "Chosing not to be legally related to me is the right choice."

Adam shook his head. He did not immediately reply, but paused by sipping warm tea in front of him.

"Belen and your friends are the reason." Adam explained his understanding.

"I said this to explain to you at the beginning, Laura," Adam said. "That I will not be your guardian in writing."

"Tante Danira will replace him." Adam added again. "He will be responsible as your guardian legally."

Laura did not argue. Instead he just nodded. "I understand."

"Aren't you disappointed?" ask Adam to make sure.

"Why am I disappointed? Lagian Aunt Danira is the closest mom sister, she should be responsible indeed. "

Adam smiled. "Thank God. You're not stubborn."

Laura put a mouthful of rice in her mouth. Finally he could eat something to fill his stomach this time.

"When will weekend come with me?" ask Adam again, interrupting.

Laura's staring. Silence with astonished face.

"Dating," he added. Adam was brave this time. "I want to date you. I'm going to introduce you to the best person that's never been replaced in my heart."

Laura sighed. "Mrs Wanda? Rinjani's? Or ... Nurwa?" ketus. "I don't want to."

"not them. They are not very special when compared to these two people" Adam said firmly. "Take some time, just a minute."

Adam ended his sentence with a wry smile. "Let's go on a date with me, Laura."
