Nurwa was waiting in front of the gate of this huge building. It had been almost thirty minutes, but what he was looking for did not show the trunk of his nose. Honestly, if it wasn't her boss's son, Nurwa would've given up a long time ago. Plus the sky is overcast above it.
"Nurwa?" Someone took his name. Nurwa turned her head when the heavy voice of an unfamiliar man sounded so clear.
Adam came, like a superhero who would finish himself off in his usual boredom.
"Mas Adam is here?" Nurwa smiled in disbelief. Destiny is so funny to him. If it continues like this, why not just get married?
Adam nodded his head. "Do you remember that I now teach at a private private educational institution?"
Nurwa. "It's real here?" He looked at the building behind him. "Thank God. He said the salary here was equivalent to a permanent teacher."
Adam smiled lightly. "so. I'm grateful that someone will accept me."
"Mas Adam deserves a good place to work. Adam is a smart man" Nurwa replied again. He praised while he had the chance. "Mas Adam was also a great teacher."
Adam blushing.
"However, keep looking for work in an official school. Mumpung Mas Adam hasn't been idle for too long." Nurwa. "It was for the sake of Mas Adam's career."
Adam nodded in understanding. "What are you doing here?" tanyakanya. They only talked about Adam. "No business?"
"I picked up my boss' son. It just so happened that he just entered tutoring today." Nurwa looked at the building behind her. "Surprisingly he didn't come from earlier. I was late to pick her up."
Adam looked inside. "What class?"
"One SMP." Nurwa answered as she could. "ipa Majors. He said he was in biology class. Her father can't pick her up and ...."
Nurwa's sentence stopped when her phone rang. He grabbed the bag and took it. A message came in from his boss.
Adam noticed the change in the look on Nurwa's face when he read the message. "What's wrong?" ask Adam. Nurwa was obviously disappointed after reading it.
"Surely he's home." Nurwa. "He's his friend." She looked at Adam. "I was in vain" he murmured.
Adam smiled. He rubbed Nurwa's shoulders. "Then you want to have lunch with me first? I happen to have no more clocks."
Nurwa was a little comforted to hear that. "Mas Adam wants to go home too?" tanyakanya.
Adam mangosteen. "The plan is so." Adam says. "However, meeting you here, it looks like we can spend the afternoon together."
Nurwa. "I happen to be not late. Adam could pick his place to eat."
Both walked down the street. Then the vehicles around them, become a breaker of silence between the two. At last, Adam spoke.
"Nurwa," he called. He looked at Nurwa. "What was said by that time ...."
"I don't want it to be a burden to Adam." Nurwa added again. "I want our relationship to be fine, without any awkwardness."
"I've thought about it." Adam says. He looked at Nurwa again. "I've been deciding on it for the past few days as well."
Nurwa smiles. Surprisingly, he was afraid of an answer that might disappoint him. Adam was never interested in her as a woman.
"Mas Adam need not hurry." Nurwa tried to divert the conversation. He didn't want to hear anything from Adam. Nurwa still chose to dream and imagine about their relationship in the future.
He was afraid of facing a reality that did not fit his fantasy.
"I'll marry you." Adam made a statement. The sentence was enough to make Nurwa stop in her place.
Adam also stopped. He turned to Nurwa, who looked at him like a clumsy person. "You don't seem to believe it" said Adam laughing. "I'm serious."
"Mas Adam ... would actually propose to me and marry me?" Nurwa looked at him with disbelief. "I didn't hear wrong, did I?"
Adam smiled. His head nodded with certainty. "I talked about this with Miss Wanda. He agreed I'd marry again."
Nurwa. He can't control the look on his face right now. Flushed like a boiled crab. Adam's probably catching him wet.
"Maybe not in the near future," said Adam giving tenderness with a smile. "I need time to prepare everything. I'm sure you are too."
Nurwa. "I can understand." She smiled at the sumringah. "Most importantly I've gained clarity. Adam is going to marry me."
Adam smiled too. He continued his footsteps, followed by the woman beside him. Nurwa looked at Adam. Somehow, but before that Adam loved Laura so much. His feelings just changed?
"Mas Adam, I want to ask you something." Nurwa interrupted the footsteps. Adam looked at him. "Laura?" nurwa asked doubtfully.
Adam frowned. "Why Laura?"
"Don't Adam love him anymore?" Nurwa was trying to find information, maybe there was a residual taste in Adam's heart.
Adam shook his head. "I should forget about Laura, because Laura did that too."
"We have made our own decisions, we must not regret anything we have decided." Adam insists. "We have to be happy with each other's choices" he concluded.
Nurwa did get some clarity from Adam, but she did not get any relief from that answer. For some reason, Nurwa smelled the scent of lies from Adam.
Nurwa only believes that Adam did not completely forget Laura.
