48. Through the Middle of the Night.

"Have you managed to abort the contents?" Someone patted Daffa's shoulder. She smiled sweetly at him. "You're so great."

Daffa. "I told you I'd get Laura again" he added. "I'll pay off my debt with you soon."

The man smiled. "Are you sure he'll take you back after this?" tanyakanya. "Don't forget she still has a husband."

Daffa mangosteen. "I will seize it" Daffa said firmly. "I'll take Laura again."

"Looks like Laura's husband is a stubborn type of guy. I'm sure she won't just give up Laura, even if her child isn't in Laura's womb" she said with confidence.

Daffa chuckles. "We'll see who will win" he said. "Me or her."

"Slowly." Adam helps Laura sit on the bed. She covered her body with a thick blanket.

"Do you want me to get you some warm tea?" Adam offers so much attention. "You wait here first."

Adam hendak pergi dari hadapan Laura, tetapi gadis itu menghentikannya. Adam menoleh dan menatap wajah pucat Laura.

"I ...." Laura shone her voice. "I'm sorry," Laura muttered in the end. He had been waiting for the right time to express his heart.

"I'm careless at this." Laura's down. "I should have been more careful."

Adam did not leave in front of him. He sat down in front of Laura. "If you feel that way, then from now on you should be much better."

"I don't demand you to change completely, Ra." Adam suddenly grabbed Laura's hand and grasped it. "I just want your every behavior, you think about your dead son."

Adam rubbed the back of Laura's hand. "I know facts like this you shouldn't get at such a young age, but I hope this can be something that matures you."

Laura did not react. Sometimes he still felt regret in himself.

"Sir Adam, what about the continuation of our marriage?" Laura asked suddenly. He can't wait to be free from this marriage. Laura is eager to get her old life.

Adam smiled. "What's how?" ask her gently. "Everything will go as usual. Nothing has changed."

Laura shook her head. "There's no more reason Mr. Adam kept me in this marriage, is there?"

Adam remembered by his own promise, that he would release Laura if there were no more pregnancies in her stomach.

"That's what Daffa promised you?" Adam chimed in with a serious look.

Laura's quiet.

"Daffa told you that?" Adam repeated his words again. "Laura, I won't divorce you for no apparent reason."

It was not as easy as Laura thought. Adam was much more stubborn in defending his household.

"At this moment you are still in this state. I don't want us to discuss things that are detrimental to your health." Adam tried to be warmer on Laura.

Perhaps he did not see the general response of a woman who lost her womb to Laura, but he only believed in one fact that Laura was hiding it. From the beginning, this girl was always strong.

"You just rest. I'll make you some warm tea and hot gravy tonight." Adam smiled again. "You wait here."

"I'm not hungry" Laura replied steadily.

Adam stopped in his place again. "Then I prepare tea."

"I'm not thirsty either." Laura is turning more powerful than ever. "I just want to rest. Adam, please close the door."

Adam mangosteen understands. His smile was forced. Adam came out of Laura's room, closed the door carefully so as not to leave a meaningful voice.

Wanting to go to his room, someone suddenly knocked on the door. Adam glanced at the wall clock that signified past midnight.

"Who has the night?" ask Adam. He muttered as he headed for the doorway.

Adam opened the door. She was surprised to see Nurwa standing in the doorway crying.

"Nurwa?" Adam looked at her worriedly. "What's wrong?"

"Mas Adam .. Let's get married!" nurwa suddenly. "We should get married."
