Laura's life will never come back. Things will never be the same again. All eyes shifted their eyes. Laura was no longer an attractive object to look at and praise, in fact her friends began to stay away from Laura.
Laura chose to sit in the corner of the canteen. A bowl of meatballs and warm tea accompanied his lunch this time.
"Now he has no friends." The whispers of sound entered Laura's ears.
"Life completely changed after his father went bankrupt."
"I wonder when he'll survive? He was just a spoiled child."
Laura tried to ignore all of those words. In reality he could do nothing, nor could he possibly rebel and yell at all his friends.
"Say Daffa also severed their relationship. They don't communicate anymore."
"Daffa is right. Laura betrayed her by marrying another man. He even lied to us all."
Everything Laura heard was so painful. The girl tried to ignore him by eating meatballs in front of him. Pretending to never hear what she heard today, was Laura's way of avoiding a fight.
"Why eat alone?" Belen suddenly came to him. Without asking permission from Laura, the girl pulled out a chair and sat in front of her.
Laura squinted her eyes. Little wonder to see Belen in front of him.
Belen put down a tray containing a bowl of chicken noodles and orange ice. "Once in a while try eating chicken noodles here. It tastes good."
Laura did not speak a word. She turned to Belen once in a while, then glanced at the person in front of her who was staring at Laura cynically.
Sometimes the toughest punishment is social sanctions.
"Why look at me like that?" Belen protested to Laura when she got a strange look at her eyes. "Is something wrong on my face?"
Laura shook her head.
"You don't want me to sit here and eat with you?" ask again. "Then I will ...."
Laura stopped Belen who was about to take her lunch and left in front of Laura.
"Stay here." Laura ruled slowly. However, Belen was still unmoved. "Please," she asked.
Hearing that word, Belen smiled faintly. He sat down in front of Laura.
"Sir Adam taught you many things apparently, even though your marriage did not go well" Belen said.
Laura looked at the interlocutor with a sneer. His gaze was sad, harboring a lot of sadness.
"Belen," call Laura in doubt. "There's something I want to talk to you about."
Belen. "Next time don't sit in your own corner like this. You'll be an easy target for Almira and her gang."
"I know that everyone here hates you, but at least don't intimidate yourself" Belen said.
Belen looked at the atmosphere of the canteen so crowded. "A lot of empty seats there, can sit there. Why are you sitting here?"
Belen looked at Laura again. "You know what makes them hate you the most?" tanyakanya. Belen completely dominated the conversation, while Laura was silent without language.
"It's not about the news that your family is broke and you're poor, nobody cares about that, Laura." Belen. "You lied to them all."
Laura's down. He realized his mistake.
Belen breathed. "At least it won't be worse than this. "
"I'm sorry." Laura looked down again. His voice was so slow, it could barely be heard by Belen.
Belen frowned. "I'm sorry about what?"
"Everything." Laura looked back at Belen. "I lied to you, I didn't appreciate you, I even slapped you in front of a lot of people back then."
Belen breathed. "really. You should be sorry."
The girl started eating the chicken noodles she ordered. Trying to enjoy the awkward atmosphere between herself and Laura.
Belen also did not know, since when he felt so foreign to Laura. They were like stamps and letters.
"Belen," call Laura again. "There's something I want to talk to you about again."
Belen just nodded his head. However, he did not stop his eating activities. "Tell me," muttered Belen in the middle of her mouth full of food.
"On papa and mama ...." Laura began to doubt.
Belen glanced at Laura. "Hm. Your mom and dad? Where are they now? You live with your aunt."
"They went abroad?" Belen tried to guess. Occasionally re-eat the chicken noodles in front of him. "They're trying to develop other companies abroad?"
Laura shook her head. "They go far."
Belen glanced at Laura. "Where?"
"When did they return to Jakarta? I want to see them." Belen smile.
"They'll never come back, Belen." Laura. "My mom and dad are no more. They died over a month ago."
Belen regurgitated the food in his mouth. He was surprised not to play to hear Laura's confession on this one.
"Ra?" Belen is still on the verge of unbelief. "You don't worry!"
"I know maybe you're angry with your mom and dad, but talk like that ...." Belen did not continue his sentence. Laura looked at herself sadly, that gaze had already explained everything.
"Are you serious?" Belen. Her heart felt Laura's sadness.
"I've been pregnant with Daffa's child." Laura confessed again.
Now Belen was made silent in his place. He was shocked in disbelief. Laura has a wonderful lie.
"That's why I married Mr. Adam" said Laura. "All because of tragedy."
Belen gave a rough sigh. He threw the spoon into the bowl. "Well! You really lied to me!"
"I'm sorry, Belen," murmured Laura.
Belen squinted his eyes. "I'm sorry I came to you earlier."
