Laura looked at Kirana without pause. He looked at the girl suspiciously. It seemed like he missed one big fact about the incident that night.
"Sir Adam knew already" Kirana said as she placed the glass on the table. His tongue tasted several times the sweetness of the milk coffee he ordered. A smile on his lips signifies contentment. Laura is not wrong place to choose this cafe to hang out with him.
"Say what happened?" Laura refused to talk. His arrival was only trying to resolve his own curiosity. "How did he know? You told him, right?"
Laura laughs. "You are a hypocrite. You've already received the payment, but you still betrayed us?"
Kirana did not notice Laura speaking. He was busy picking something up from his bag.
"Now you want to ask me for more money, because the money yesterday was lacking?" ask Laura. Smiling a grin could not lie to the vexation of his heart. "If I don't want to give you that money, you will ...."
Laura's sentence came to a halt when Kirana suddenly put a wad of money on the table. Laura looked at the girl's face intently. No one spoke in a few seconds.
"I want to give you the money back." Kirana. "That's the point of our conversation.
Kirana smiled in anguish. "I was only paid three million for the lie, but the guilt kept haunting me throughout my sleep."
Laura sighed. "Now you're acting as if you're holy?"
"You need that money! So stop pretending!" Laura was a little angry. "Nobody wants that money back, Kirana."
Kirana pushed the money closer to Laura. "It's up to you to use this money or throw it in the trash, which I obviously gave it back."
Laura could get seriousness from Kirana's facial expression. This girl has a strong will.
"I met Mr. Adam last night" Kirana confessed. "It turns out I misjudged it."
"Either you are too disfiguring him with your story, or I am the one who misunderstood and hastily concluded," Kirana added. The girl smiled. "Sir Adam is like an angel."
Laura turned. He threw away his eyes, reluctant to speak again.
"He helped. Then she said that she knew everything, I never told her." Kirana is back.
Laura's staring. "You're forced to do this the same Mr Adam?"
"Laura!" Kirana gave emphasis. "What are you the same? There is something wrong with you."
"I don't see any loopholes and crimes committed by Mr. Adam" Kirana said steadily. "He shouldn't have this treatment."
"He's a good guy. That's what made me think about returning this money," Kirana added. "I don't want to constantly feel guilty."
Laura did not give an answer. He was silent in his place. Kirana slowly also began to awaken herself.
Kirana managed to give Laura a slap.
"Now has Daffa finally left you?" Kirana laughs. "Laura, you regret it, don't you?"
"Don't you know!" Laura suddenly snapped furiously. Kirana is becoming more and more into laughter.
Kirana did not know Laura personally, to be honest she was closer to Daffa. However, seeing the look on Laura's face at the moment, Kirana believed her feelings. He regretted his actions.
"Are you done with your words?" asked Laura firmly. "If I had been I would have ...."
"Sir Adam is getting married?" ask Kirana suddenly. The words made Laura stop in her place. He did not leave Kirana.
Kirana smiled faintly. "I saw her with a woman before coming to see you" Kirana said. He delivers. "Say they're planning a wedding."
Nurwa. That was the name that stuck in Laura's mind. Who else could suddenly take over?
"So you're disappointed, Ra?" Kirana laughed again. "Unfortunately you can't bring things back to the way they were, even if you try."
Kirana packed her things. He should be back at his boss's house. Kirana just went for a while to buy some cake.
"Saranku, your last chance is before the yellow janur curves ...." Kirana spoke again. Not happy to tease Laura. "Take Mr. Adam again, rather than regret it."
Laura looks up. Kirana. "I don't care who she wants to marry. It's none of my business anymore."
"Stop lying to yourself, Ra," Kirana said. "Your eyes say otherwise. You miss him."
Kirana passed away after finishing her sentence. He left Laura speechless, staring at the wad of money on the table.
"Is it true that Mr. Adam will marry Nurwa?" laura muttered in her question.
Laura looked at the streets. Drizzle down unexpectedly. "Is that how quickly he forgot me?"
"He never even saw me again, apparently because he wanted to marry Nurwa?" Laura nodded long. He shook his head. "What's wrong with me now? I shouldn't care."
