Hell's Charm From My Wife

Hell's Charm From My Wife
23. Husband or Ex-Girlfriend?

"How does our child go?"

Laura frowned at Daffa's words. This young man is shameless.

"Daf, it was you who decided to leave me. You don't want to take responsibility for this kid." Laura scoffed with a dislike look. Plus a smile no longer deserves him for a bastard like Daffa.

"Why did it suddenly come and care?" Laura looked at Daffa. The wound was still left in his heart. "It's too late."

Daffa shook his head. "I know I was wrong, Ra." Daffa grabbed Laura's hand. "But I'm sorry."

"I'll talk to your mom and dad, we'll take this together." Daffa seemed to want to hypnotize Laura with his words.

Daffa learned a lot, that working on regrets never changes anything. He decided to stop fighting.

"Sir Adam is my husband." Laura admitted with a heavy heart, it shouldn't be Daffa who heard this the first time.

Daffa was not surprised, but he could not take it for granted.

"You're lying, aren't you, Ra?" Daffa held Laura's hand. "You're just trying to avoid me, aren't you?"

Laura took off the grip, took out the necklace hidden behind the collar of her shirt. Show off the pendant from her wedding necklace.

"You satisfied?" ask Laura to make sure. His eyes tried to increase the accuracy of Daffa's belief that he wasn't bragging.

Daffa took a long breath. The fingers squeezed the end of the hoodie he was wearing. This young man had no guts, finally regret even impressed himself like a beggar.

"You can check the ring on Mr. Adam's finger if you don't believe it." Laura added. A smile she gave to Daffa. "You're too late."

Laura got up from the seat. Too many untrue things she talked about with Daffa, leaving Adam who had ordered two ice creams for her since a few minutes ago.

"I have to go, Mr. Adam is waiting for me." Laura glanced at Adam who was sitting in front of the food truck, waiting faithfully for him. Without calling Laura.

Adam knew what he had to do. Shut up and wait for him.

"By!" Daffa prevented Laura from leaving. "Say that you won't regret it?"

Laura looked at Daffa's fingers clasping her wrists. A faint smile was given, almost laughing at his own stance.

"This child needs a biological father who recognizes it biologically." Daffa bragged, smartass. "You should consider it too."

Laura suddenly laughed. Daffa was too funny for him.

"I'm serious, Ra." Daffa softens the voice. "We can start from the beginning. I'm sorry."

"What do we eat?" Laura suddenly sniffled. His tone was filled with protest.

Daffa frowned his eyes, Laura was not as usual. As much as Daffa's mistakes go, Laura always forgives.

"You don't work and I don't either." Laura looked at Daffa's appearance. Quite capable, handsome Daffa with a sexy clean brown skin. His face was arguably higher than the standard of the Javanese.

Unfortunately, Laura no longer needs the charm of her former lover. Laura just needs money and something that guarantees her life.

Daffa was mute, Laura asked an unreasonable question.

"You don't have anything, so don't expect to raise this child together." Laura closed her sentence.

Daffa didn't let Laura go, his fingers again grabbed Laura's wrists. "Your father and mother can help."

Laura almost spat in front of Daffa's face. He will not understand how much his sadness is.

"I will persuade them. I'll try hard—"

"I don't want to be a beggar even for my own parents!" ketus Laura to him. "Stop wishing and just go home!"

Laura left Daffa at her place. The rejection made the wound in Daffa's heart become increasingly open, gaping and very sick to the wind this afternoon.

Daffa had a false belief: recently Laura did not go to school because of her pregnancy.

Adam saw Laura coming, stood up and walked up to him. Bring two melted ice cream.

Laura's gaze was empty.

"Ah, about the ice cream." Adam looked at the cone ice cream in his grasp. "I'll buy you a new one."

Adam smiled awkwardly at Laura. "Wait here first. I bought it again."

"Sir Adam was drunk?" I asked Laura suddenly.

The question left Adam flabbergasted. His eyes focused on Laura, surprised.

"What are you saying?" ask Adam, a little stuttering. "Why do you suddenly ask that?"

Adam looked up at the sky above him. "In broad daylight."

Laura turned her face away. Feelings were mixed, marred by the arrival of Daffa. Laura was as strong as she could not shed tears.

He lies when his love is no more. Daffa still made Laura wish. The hope of a happy life is still in his sight.

"I want to go to my friend's house. Mr. Adam went home first," Laura added. It looks like Adam is not the type of guy who would nod to spend the afternoon in a bar or discotheque.

Laura almost left, but Adam prevented her. "Where are you going?"

"To a friend's house." Laura answered. "Sir Adam need not worry."

Laura turned around again, as soon as she could before Adam nagged her.

"I'm coming along." Adam prevented. As a result, whatever he says to hold Laura. "Wherever I go, I'll come with you."

Laura frowned. Still can't believe Adam's this easy. This guy had a lot of surprises for Laura.

"Sir Adam sure you want to come with me and my friend?" laura asked, frowning. "I'm sure Mr. Adam will regret it later."

Adam let go of Laura's hand slowly. From Laura's face, she was serious that Adam might regret it.

"You want to go to Belen's house?" ask Adam to guess. "Maybe it's true I'll regret it if I go there. Looks like ...."

"Belen likes Mr. Adam." Laura replied firmly. He believes his words can be proved.

Adam bergeming. Apparently he's not stupid in understanding teenage girls.

"Maybe just interested." Adam concluded. "I'm handsome" he said with a slight smile.

Laura immediately turned her face away, the smile that Adam could not see. He was too embarrassed to show interest in their conversation.

"I'm sure it's not serious. You don't have to be afraid. I wouldn't be interested in him either" Adam assures. It was as if Laura had fallen half-dead in love with him.

Laura looked at Adam. "I don't care" said Laura Ketus. "I'm not going to Belen's house."

Adam frowned. "Why?"

"Surely Mr Adam thought my friend was just Belen?" ask Laura. A meaningful grin for Adam.

Adam was sure. "Then I'll come. Wherever you go."

"Where is it?" ask Laura to make sure.

Adam mangosteen. "Wherever," he said uncertainly after seeing Laura smiling strangely.

"Well if so. Mr. Adam can come." Laura smiled with satisfaction, as if she had deceived this man.

"May I come?" adam began to follow Laura. Laura did not reply, leaving Adam with her curiosity.

"Where are you going?" Adam urges.

"Follow it. Don't ask too many questions!" grouse Laura. "You look like Papa!"
