Hell's Charm From My Wife

Hell's Charm From My Wife
66. Divorce!

"You're having an affair." Laura lowered her head. This scenario is what she wants, the rest of Laura must be good at acting to continue her struggle.

Adam took a breath. "How many times have I said I didn't come there to do that."

"I came there because I got a strange message that said you were kidnapped by an unknown man and taken to that hotel" Adam said with certainty.

Not to Laura, Adam tried to convince the woman in front of him, Danira.

"Tante Danira," call Adam Iirih. "I'm right to never do that. I don't even know how I could wake up in such a state, I don't ...."

Laura put the evidence back on the table. Adam's phone is in Laura's hands, somehow the story. After he realized from his stupor, Adam walked around like a person who lost his identity. Confusion plagued him for a while, until the man forgot that he lost his phone.

"I took this. I opened up the whole thing," said Laura steadily. "The message you two are too friendly to be said to be two strangers who have just met."

Adam was confused by Laura's statement. "What are you really talking about? I really don't ...."

The sentence stopped when Danira picked up the phone and read the contents. From earlier he was just silent, trying to mediate a couple who were arguing this. Laura comes to him and whines about Adam's affair.

"Tante Danira, please trust me." Adam begged. "I can prove that I have nothing to do with him. I can call him here and tell him to talk."

Danira looked at Adam. "Part Laura."

Not only Adam was surprised, but Laura was also. The girl did not expect that the process would be this fast. Laura thought there would be this and that debate, proving each other right and wrong.

"I can't see my only niece being wasted like this." Danira puts Adam's phone roughly on the table. "You took advantage of his innocence."

Laura looked at Danira. This woman looks like her mother, easily lied to.

Adam shook his head. "August ...." Adam shook his head. "I beg. Give me time to prove that I never cheated."

"You're a grown man, while Laura's just a plain teenager whose fate isn't necessarily this." Danira is getting stronger. "I can't trust Laura if you do this, my late sister will be very sad and disappointed in me."

Laura looked down, not because she was embarrassed or sad because her marriage was in danger of being destroyed. The girl was hiding a smile on her lips to celebrate her victory so easily.

"Tante Danira," whined Adam. The man tried to grab Danira's hand. "I'm sure I can prove it" he added steadily. "I promise!"

Danira shook her head. "Laura will come with me until you finish all those divorce papers."

"You can call me again if you're ready to meet in court" Danira said confidently. "The affair cannot be forgiven."

Danira cheers up a smile. "My friend whose husband cheated and pretended to be able to prove it, then my friend forgave him .. You know what happened two months later?"

Adam looked at Danira with a look. "Tante, I beg you."

"His husband cheated again. Now he's become depressed and crazy, Adam." Danira looked at the lowered Laura, her acting was truly extraordinary. "I don't want my only nephew to be my brother's legacy to be the same fate as my friend."

Danira sighed. He slowly embraced Laura. "I just want the best for Laura."

Adam took a breath. He lowered his gaze, either embarrassed or sad. His feelings were mixed up this afternoon.

Adam did not answer, but slowly Adam began to resign.

Laura turned to Danira, she was like a savior angel to Laura.

"You should be able to understand my feelings as Laura's guardian now, Adam," Danira said. "I just want to protect her from a man like you."

"I won't bring you to court on suspicion of infidelity. I'm gonna make this divorce so quiet and peaceful, Dam." Danira looked at him fixedly. "As long as you cooperate."

Danira got up from her seat. He looked at Laura who was coming up, looking at him. "You can pack your things now, we go home, Laura."

"Tante will wait ahead" added Danira. Laura just nodded her head. Danira turned away from before him.

Laura rushed over after Danira came out of the room. But Adam stopped him.

"This is Daffa?" ask Adam. The two stared at each other.

Laura did not have the courage to give an answer, of course this scenario was too classic and old-fashioned for a clever man like Adam Dhanurendra.

"Why silence?" Adam repeated his words. "You're doing this on purpose like me, Ra?"

Laura turned her face away. "Sir Adam said what?" reply, a little stutter. "I don't understand."

"You know damn well I wouldn't do that!" Adam began to be more determined. He stood up from his place. "I don't know the girl and my cell phone ...." Adam pointed at his phone. "You manipulated it, didn't you?"

Laura glanced at Adam. "Don't accuse me!"

"I'm talking facts, Laura!" adam Sahut. He approached Laura. "You were too consumed by that bastard's sweet prank" he said.

"Don't call Daffa a bastard." Laura dared to look at Adam. "Look at yourself before calling others that way, Mr. Adam."

Laura patted Adam's field chest. "Don't be a holy pretender" he said. "You're just a cheat hiding behind your innocent face."

"I've never cheated on you" replied Adam firmly. "You manipulated him!"

Laura laughs. "As for you, the most important thing is that our marriage is over to this day."

Laura grinned thinly. "Goodbye, Mr. Adam." She laughed a little later. "I wish we never met again."

Laura left her place.

"Don't come to me if Daffa leaves you!" Adam replied again. Laura looked at it. "He'll definitely dump you."

Laura frowned. "You're a fortune teller?"

"I swear on your destiny, Laura." Adam closed the conversation. "You'll know the pain I'm feeling today."
