"Oh," said Laura. He held the end of the chair and squeezed it. Laura could not bear the pain she felt when Adam gave the red medicine to her wound.
"You can still feel the pain." Adam joked while focusing on treating Laura. Sometimes the man looked up, staring at Laura. Then refocus on Laura's wounds.
Laura grumbling. "Did Adam think it didn't hurt?"
"The wound increased as I fell. Many times the pain." Laura whining.
To be honest, Adam missed Laura and her whining. However, the court decision did not allow him to stay and meet Laura all day. Not his wife anymore, and vice versa.
Adam blew Laura's wound to dry quickly. "Maybe it'll be a little sore later tonight. The wound was dirty and you didn't treat immediately" Adam said.
Adam looks up. "If your body is carefree, you must go to the hospital immediately." He delivers. "Who knows the wound is infected."
Adam not only got a scratch because Laura fell, but also a wound with a small hole like something stuck.
"This is an open wound from the fall" murmured Adam. He opened the wound plaster for Laura. "It's like it's got a prick."
"I broke two glasses at work" Laura replied. "That got the shards."
Adam stop. Laura looked at him in silence.
"I went home and bought it instead" Laura said. The girl looked at the plate and the glass that had been smashed into the plastic bag. "I'm making a new mistake."
Laura grunted long. "ah! It is expensive!"
Adam re-attached the wound plaster over Laura's knee after the girl finished her short story.
"Now I'm in debt" Laura growled at her fate. "Completely already!"
Adam got up from his squat. Sitting next to Laura, a little bit of a split. Let the cold air from this afternoon rain pass by.
"You work?" ask Adam to make sure. The talks continue. "Part-time?"
Laura mangosteen. He's down. "Tante Danira isn't as rich as mom and dad. Nia's sister hates me too."
Adam looked, and so did Laura. The two of them exchanged looks in silence.
"Sister Nia is Aunt Danira's son." Laura shortens. "The bottom line is, her husband Aunt Danira's business is faltering, so they have to save money."
"That's why you took a part-time job?" Adam says. He concluded. "For what?"
Laura shrugged her shoulders. "Kali's waiter?" thought. "I don't know what it's called. Maid is too low."
Laura looked at the rain in front of her. The rain brings the story from the past. A flash of memory almost made her cry.
"I used to be .. I was sitting in a fancy car crashing in the rain" Laura murmured again. Adam listened carefully. "Now I'm sitting in a wet and terrible condition on the edge of this unused shophouse."
Laura smiled miris. His destiny was slammed 180 degrees. It was as if everything was gone in the blink of an eye.
"Papa and mama died without a penny's inheritance." Laura snorted softly. "They dumped me after escaping the troubles of the world."
Adam almost pityed Laura. However, that sentence dispelled her mother's sense. Right, Laura stays Laura. Such painful sentences were considered ordinary by him.
"Living poor is bad" Laura said. "Why Mr. Adam didn't kill himself and ...."
"Did that solve the problem?" Adam took over the conversation. He pointed at the sky above. "The sky hides heaven and hell."
Laura looked up. He only saw a cloud dripping rain.
"If we fly to heaven, then the matter is over." Adam is soft. "Suicide alone has kept us away from heaven. Hell is so much more terrible."
Laura nodded. "So, mama's going to hell?"
Adam looked at me. Laura's words surprised him.
"That's not what I meant, Laura," Adam murmured. "Why are you so obvious as a person?" Adam frowned. "That's too blunt."
Laura grinned thinly. "I just want to live on reality. No need to try to cheer me up after everything that happened."
"Honestly, I don't care if you and your mom want to go to hell or heaven." Laura. Adam lost the conversation. She was once in Laura's position when her parents left her just like that.
"In fact they put me in hell, I hope they feel the same way." Laura looked at Adam. "It's not fair if they're happy and comfortable up there, but I'm fighting to live."
Adam slurped. Laura's thinking was clearly contaminated with her circumstances. However, he could not blame this girl either. Laura is just a young girl who's been hit by the situation. Thank God he didn't end his life.
"It's up to you" replied Adam giving up. "I can't change that stupid thought."
Laura laughed lightly.
Adam looked at him. Suddenly she feels Laura's charm, even though Adam knows it means Laura's going crazy.
"By the way, how did Adam know that I gave Daffa the money?" ask Laura. "Sir Adam investigated?"
Adam shook his head. "That's a secret."
Laura clucking. "Curtain!"
"You just need to return the money" said Adam firmly. "For the cost of my marriage capital with Nurwa."
Laura's smile just subsided. Adam's words just now, successfully made his heart hurt. However, until now Laura did not know, what made her hurt.
"Sir Adam is really going to marry her?" asked Laura lirih.
Adam mangosteen. "I love her."
Unfortunately, the confession made the pain in Laura's heart even more pronounced. She didn't know, which was certain Laura just felt this was unfair.
