Hell's Charm From My Wife

Hell's Charm From My Wife
2. A short night

His body is tall, big height like a grown man. A clean handsome face, with a thin mustache under her nose, became the focus of Laura's current gaze. His pair of shady eyes seemed familiar looking at him.

"It's late, it's raining again" he said suddenly. "You can't be alone in such a dark place. It will cause slander."

Her voice is so soft. Calm the heart of Laura who was roaring violently. It is like a hum in the midst of the city atmosphere during the day.

"Who is this? For what right, you're interfering?" Daffa. His anger was channeled through his words and the look on his face.

Daffa pulled Laura's hand. "He's my girlfriend and it's none of your business about what happened to us tonight" Daffa said. He almost took Laura away from before him.

"Wait a minute!" The man prevented. Almost pulled Laura's hand, but her heart prevented it. He was silent for a moment, thinking long enough.

"What?" Daffa sniffled while looking at him. "You want to interfere?"

"He was crying, you seemed to be rude to him." The man looked at Laura who instantly turned her face away. It seemed like he was caught off guard with chaos on his face.

"It's none of your business!" Daffa. "This is our business!"

"I'll call the police if you take him away!" It turned out that the man did not give up, trying to fight Daffa who was foreign to him. The focus is only on Laura. He pity her.

Daffa let go of Laura's hand. Approaching a foreign man with a neat shirt like a new person applying for work, the difference is that a handsome face does not hint at a tremendous fatigue.

"Who are you?" mumbling Daffa stood in front of him. "He's my girlfriend and he's mine. I have every right to do anything to him and you!" Daffa placed his index finger in front of the man's chest. "You have no right to interfere!"

"Take him home 'cause it's night. Outside the rain and I'm sure his parents must be worried about him" said the man in a calm tone as he slowly lowered his Daffa finger from the front of his field chest.

The man sighed. "That's my advice, son."

After a small argument, he decided to leave. At least make sure Laura does not get a slap from her lover.

Just a few steps, suddenly her wrist was pulled by Laura. Stopped the man's footsteps later.

"Please take me home," Laura asked with a sad expression on her face. Anxiety filled her eyes. "I want to go home."

"Laura!" Daffa jerking. Pulling his body violently. "Our business is not finished yet."

"She's not my lover" Laura continued to stare at Daffa. A small smile spread over his lips. "She dumped me a few minutes ago and she forgot about me afterwards."

The overwhelming confusion engulfed the tall man. Question after urgent question to be immediately answered inside his head, but he did not even know these two young men in front of him. So, want to force how?

"I will raise this child myself and I will fight for this child myself!" Laura looked at Daffa with a shot inside her angry eyes. "I don't need you, Daffa!"

"Laura. Listen to me first ...."

"I've listened to you enough, Daff. Now it's time for me to decide what to do!" Laura insisted. She was a fool even if there were strangers who heard the news of this pregnancy.

Laura patted his chest. "It's my body! My son! And it's my decision!"

"You're right!" Laura grinned. "God may hate me and will not forgive my sins, but at least I must forgive myself, Daffa."

"I don't want to be a killer" Laura concluded.

"Laura, I'm not—"

"You can go now, Daffa. I don't want to see you anymore." Laura did not allow Daffa to speak. "From now on don't know me and don't see me again. I'm sick of seeing your face!"

"Let him go. He belongs to his parents, not yours, son," he said. The man caught up with Laura after silencing Daffa in his place.

Daffa gave up, without wanting to fight any more. At least the anger and departure of Laura was a bit favorable for him. The rest, Daffa will take care of tomorrow if the situation is much more supportive of him.

"Hey, you!"

Laura turned. The tall man followed himself apparently. Laura thought she'd leave and won't care anymore.

"Wear an umbrella" he said, offering a folding umbrella to Laura.

Laura was clumsy in her place. I looked at the empty hand of the man. There was no expression on his face. Both of Laura's hands just squeezed both shoulders, to hug herself. The drizzling rain brought such a piercing chill.

"Adam" he said suddenly. "That's my name."

Laura looked at him in wonder. Slowly a frown appeared above his forehead. "Who asked your name, sir?"

"Sir?" Adam chuckles. "You call me sir?" He made sure his ears didn't hear wrong.

Adam hated the rain. In addition to not like the cold and wet in his body, Rain is very troublesome for Adam. He's a simple man, but in terms of appearance, no one can ruin him.

"I'm sure I'm not far from you" Adam chuckled. "Call names can also. It's trending in Jakarta."

Laura sighed. He didn't answer. To him, Adam was weird. He looks a fine man with a super neat appearance even though this is a watch prone to spoil the appearance due to circumstances. Adam also had the grammar and art of facing a good young girl. Laura has bad feelings for Adam.

"Take the umbrella. I don't need it" Laura replied in the end. He walked away, almost leaving Adam.

"Wait!" Adam prevented Laura without touching her. The teaching given by his late father and mother is not to touch women who are not his muhrim. Adam should respect the privacy of others.

Laura turned. "What else? You don't see I want to go home now?"

"Daffa is quite annoying, so I beg for his cooperation." Laura nodded with an annoyed face. He was tired, his life was shuffled indeterminate direction.

"She asked to be brought home" said Adam softly. "Where's your house?"

Laura chuckles. He looked at Adam from top to bottom. "I'm pregnant, you want to rape me too?"

Adam was silent. He had never heard the phrase 'sengery' emerge from the lips of such a beautiful girl like Laura.

"What's in it?" asked Laura indifferently. "I'm not selling myself" Laura concluded.

"It's not. I'm just—"

"Mas Adam!" Adam's speech was interrupted by the arrival of a hijab woman who ran towards him. He waved with enthusiasm.

Laura smiled big. "Your wife is beautiful, why do you still want me?" kekeh Laura in Adam's confusion in his place.

"Ah, your appearance is really deceiving me," he muttered. Laura left Adam after that.
