Hell's Charm From My Wife

Hell's Charm From My Wife
84. The Ex-Husband's Attention

Actually Laura didn't have the courage to go to work today. After an all-out fight with her yesterday, she did not have time to go to the household furniture store to buy glasses and dishes.

Laura locked herself in the room all night. He came out after morning. Laura didn't even have time for breakfast.

"Mother Sasmita," called Laura softly. The woman sitting in her chair. "Laura wants to apologize."

Sasmita looked up at him. The girl stood up while folding her hands back, like a child who made a mistake. Laura just arrived. He was not late, but he arrived 10 minutes early.

"Why should I apologize?" Sasmita frowned. "What are you wrong?" He wonders.

Sasmita looked around him. It was possible that without her noticing, Laura had already made a mistake.

"Everything's fine here. You haven't started work either. Why apologize?" Sasmita repeated her question again when Laura gave no answer at all.

Laura lowered her head. He felt guilty for her.

"Why just shut up now?" Sasmita frowned. "You want to play me this early in the morning?"

Laura looked at Sasmita. Since coming here, on the road he has prepared his mentality. However, after dealing with Sasmita everything just disappeared. Laura didn't have that much courage.

"Related ...." The girl slowly opened her mouth. "On yesterday's events."

Sasmita paused for a moment, thinking. "Yesterday?"

"Pilts and glasses." Laura stopped her sentence. He looked at his boss. "I broke the plate and the glass" murmured Laura softly.

Sasmita laughed a little. Of course, that left Laura astonished. Yesterday, this woman went on a rampage. Suddenly he was happy for no reason.

"You're easy but forgetful?" Sasmita patted Laura's shoulder. "You returned it yesterday afternoon. The Maghrib."

Laura frowned now. He was sure, it was dusk that he did not come out of the room. Laura is too scared to face Aunt Danira's family. Laura even endured her hunger.

"You even gave me one more pretty plate. It says as a form of apology." Sasmita refocused on the computer screen in front of him. "All problems are done. So, you can go back to work."

Laura was in her place. He did not follow Sasmita's orders.

"I haven't returned the plates and the glasses." Laura stammered in her sentence. He also doubted what was happening. "Yesterday after dusk I didn't get out of the house."

Laura began to block out a long breath, deciding to confess to him what happened to her yesterday. "I did buy the glasses and plates as compensation. However, there was a bad incident and a small accident that made the glasses and plates break again."

Sasmita silently listened to Laura speak.

"I'm thinking of returning it tomorrow morning. So ...."

"Are you storytelling or what?" Sasmita began to get annoyed with this girl. "I told you to get out of here and don't bother me at work, why even talk weird like that?"

"I'm not talking weird." Laura insisted that she had not made amends. "This is the reality. I haven't bought it yet."

Sasmita nodded his head. He took out a piece of paper he got from the shipment that came to his house yesterday.

"Aren't you the one who wrote this?" Sasmita handed the piece of paper to Laura. "Write your hands neatly too."

Laura took the paper. The dense lens reacts when it realizes who has this beautiful handwriting.

"Sir Adam?" muttered Laura. The girl squinted her eyes. "He sent this?"

"You're starting to remember?" Sasmita interrupted him. "The plates and glasses are even more quality and expensive than the ones you break. So, I should be thanking you."

Sasmita smiled lightly at Laura who was still confused in her place. "I'm sorry because I scolded you yesterday. I hope you can teach him."

"Now you can get back to work. Remember to be careful. The next mistake may be thinner tolerance" concluded Sasmita. "I'm busy. So, don't bother me unless there's something important."

The stocky lady returned to her activities. Laura got the answer. Adam is behind all this. So, there was no point in arguing with Sasmita.

"Then I go first, Ms. Sasmita." Laura bows. He turned away from Sasmita.

Laura muttered in the middle of her footsteps. "Why is he doing this?"
