122. Hang Yourself

Adam stopped when he saw Laura in his yard. The girl crouched down, turning her back on his presence.

Adam walked carefully. Trying not to make a meaningful sound, or maybe Laura will just walk away. Adam must have lost time to talk to her.

"Why can you die?" muttered Laura. Getting closer, Adam could hear whatever Laura was saying.

"Maybe I bought the wrong fertilizer?" Laura continued her sentence. "By yesterday the flowers were still in bloom."

Adam could see Laura gardening tonight. Slowly a smile rose above his lips. Maybe this is part of the strange cravings of a pregnant woman.

Without saying anything, Adam suddenly stretched out the vitamin that Belen had bought earlier. The action surprised Laura. The girl turned her head, but unwillingly looked at who was holding out the vitamins to her. Belen promised to buy her vitamins and came tonight. So, Laura thought it was Belen.

"Why is it so long?" ask Laura. "So you said you were coming at seven."

Laura looked back at the withered flower in front of her. "Belen, the flowers are dead" said Laura. "And I really want to see the flowers bloom tomorrow morning."

There's no answer.

"My son can drool because of non-sequence," said Laura while sighing long. He was disappointed, but what else? Laura could not bring to life what was destined to die.

"After our old house were many flowers" Adam replied in a soft voice. "Would you like to see me tomorrow?"

"Where is it possible? Last time I came ...." Not yet finished answering, Laura realized that the one talking to her was Adam.

Laura looked up. He was shocked by Adam's sudden presence. Even more surprising, Adam brought him vitamins.

"Ah, fucking Belen," Inner Laura grumbled. "Why is Adam here?" Laura slapped her saliva.

Adam crouched down in front of Laura, leveling high with her. "You're the second girl who was surprised just to see me tonight, Ra."

"I was that scared?" adam's chuckles. "I guess I'm handsome, apparently not." Adam reached out his hand, helping Laura to stand with him. "We're in, it's night. The air's cold."

Laura removed Adam's hand from his presence. He wakes up alone, unwilling to accept Adam's help.

Adam understood Laura's anger. It's only natural that Laura hates him now. Adam could not blame Laura. The sin is in Adam's hands.

"Gapain, Mr. Adam came here?" asked Laura with a kettle. He only dared to glance at her, not daring to look at Adam even though the man was standing in front of Laura.

Honestly, Adam didn't know where to start. So, like a fool, Adam just extended that vitamin to Laura.

Laura looked at Adam's hand. He wanted to deny that he didn't need it. However, Laura was convinced, Belen dismantled everything.

"Why is that going to happen to Adam?" ask Laura again. "Where's Belen?" Laura couldn't stop talking.

Even Laura missed Adam, but she didn't want to just fall for this jerk. Adam clearly said that his relationship with Laura was a mistake.

Laura widened her eyes. "Don't fret!" He panicked suddenly. "How could Mr. Adam kill him just because he helped me buy vitamins for my womb?"

Adam smiled. "So you're really pregnant with my son?"

Shit, Laura's in her trap.

"Maura ...."

"I can raise my own son." Laura cut out Adam's words. "I will not abort him and repeat my old mistakes."

Laura was shaking her waist in front of Adam. "Some, tell me who Adam's coming? Belen forced?" He laughed crazy. "No need to pity me! I can live alone!"

"Laura, we need to talk about this all right." Adam tried to persuade. "I know that you ...."

"Our relationship is a misunderstanding." Laura digs into her pain. "Sir Adam himself said that night was Mr. Adam's fault and it shouldn't have happened, right?"

Adam regretted it, really. This was the peak of regret he had never felt before.

"That means his son was also a mistake for Mr. Adam." Laura grinned sharply. "So, I'm not going to beg Mr. Adam to take responsibility if this is a mistake."

Adam wanted to refute everything, but he only listened to all of Laura's heartache.

Laura nodded long. "Better Mr. Adam get out of here. I also want to rest" said Laura. He turned away from Adam. But the man prevented it.

Adam pulled the hand of Laura who had thrashed. The man gave her the vitamins that Laura should have received earlier.

"Drink this" said Adam softly. His eyes were full of sadness. "Generally, I'm not the one who bought it. Belen paid for it, I just helped get him here."

Laura just looked at her own hand. Adam never fought it when he was angry. This guy always just gave up, looking for the right time to tear down Laura's stubbornness.

"Don't stay up, Ra." Adam smiled at him. "Your test is done. You just have to wait for the results, so you have to rest more."

"Stop pretending to care about me!" Laura stays hard. "I don't need that care."

Laura pushed Adam's body from before her. Not wanting to engage in a deeper conversation, Laura turned away. Adam could only look at Laura's back away.

"Don't forget to drink milk before going to bed!" Adam insists. She saw Laura stop before entering the house. The man was about to approach her, thinking that Laura might have changed her mind that quickly. However, Adam was speechless when he saw Laura dumping her vitamins in the trash.

Without a word, the girl went inside the house and slammed the door.

"Ah, he is still a child apparently," murmured Adam. There was no other choice, arguing with Laura for now was not a good idea. Both are tired. So, Adam decided to leave Laura's house.
