Professor John Harisson sits in his office at the university, while working in front of his computer. Since teaching motivational speaking seminars, a new workload floods his schedule, causing him to forget about Ben.
*the ring*
At that moment, he answered the call on his phone. "Bob? Haven't heard from you in a long time. How are you?"
After a short chat to catch up, his old friend explained the reason for the call. Bob's media company recruits interns and a few people drop out before the last-second interview. Therefore, he wanted to know if John had any recommendations from his university.
Professor Harisson promised to call her back that day after thinking about it, and hung up. Afterwards, the professor spent a few minutes thinking about potential recommendations, even checking his class rosters to see if anyone fit in.
But a moment later, he sighed, disappointed with the result. 'Nothing stands out this year...'
As for Ben's seminar, he didn't even consider it. It was a short seminar for freshmen and not the kind of place the company would be recruiting for. As for Ben's outstanding performance, it flashed through his mind.
As he was about to put the matter aside, planning to call his friend later and apologize for not having a good prospect, his arm dropped a folder on his desk, stretching out some papers on the floor.
Reaching out to take it, the professor blinked as he looked at the list of students for a motivational speaking seminar. The disturbing feeling in his mind made him pick it up and take a closer look, which is when he reads Ben's name, and slaps his desk.
"That's right! There's that boy!" He remembers Ben and his extraordinary speaking ability. While public speaking is just one of the many skills media companies may be looking for, the professor knows that they value talent, and would rather raise it themselves. Internships are the perfect position from which they will develop such people.
In fact, he plans to find something for Ben when they exchange numbers, but not seeing it regularly causes him to lose that trail. Anyway, it's all solved now.
As he was about to conclude something, the professor realized there was one problem: his friend might be looking for junior and senior scholars. Since Ben was a freshman, this apprentice was a level higher than what he planned to recommend him from the start.
However, when the professor recalled his weak list among the higher classes this year. 'They will not hire someone who is mediocre, and may prefer to take risks on younger talent. Then...' The professor made his decision to give Ben a chance. Besides, he had to go back to work and did not have all day for this.
Finished with that, the professor smiled, as he had found someone to recommend to his old friend, and a good chance for Ben.
In a good mood, he put it aside for later. Rubbing his hands, he returned to his daily work. "Well, where are we?"
He started typing on his computer: "Candice, can you put it together?"
...
"That's it! This is why your camera stream is my favorite! Donation is coming soon!"
...
SHE IS A PAYPIG!

A long time later that day...
Ben sits on the casting couch...
...
ilk. He was sitting on a sofa in the student room of the media building, but someone photographed an Instagram-selfie story earlier, so the semantics still hold true...
At that moment, he received a call on his cell phone. When Ben saw the caller-ID, his eyes widened because it was Professor Harisson, someone he hadn't heard from since the beginning of the semester.
He answered the phone and they exchanged pleasantries. Then, Ben's jaw gaped as the professor asked what he had been waiting for all day to hear!
...
"Coughs. Nope, no. I'm doing fine. Just a little excited. Yeah, thanks, I'll be there." Ben hung up and looked around.
All the students in the spacious waiting room stared at him ...
"Is he okay?"
"He really likes money or he really likes Tom Cruise..."
"She sounds like she's going to go to a perverted movie audition."
...
Picking up his book bag, Ben got up and walked out of the waiting room, back to his dorm. This was an amazing opportunity and she agreed to attend the interview the next day. Tonight, he had to go home to do some research on the company and prepare his resume. He doesn't have much time.

On the other side of campus, Professor Harisson rubbed his hands again. "All right, where are we? The legs!"
...
He works two shifts!

Moments later, Ben is in his dorm room, beginning to research the company he interviewed at: Hearth Communications, often referred to simply as Hearth. While reading his official website, Fariq came out of the bathroom and saw a large logo on Ben's monitor. "Why are you looking into the Hearth, bro?"
Ben glanced. "I have an interview there tomorrow for an internship."
Hearing this news, Fariq's eyes glared. "Really, man?"
Unsure what the excitement was, Ben nodded.
"How can you be so calm, bro? Fireplace is no joke!"
"What's the problem?" Although Ben attended media school, he only chose those subjects because of his interest in media products. He doesn't know much about the leaders in the industry.
Fariq was surprised to hear that. "'What's the problem?' Bro! It's one of the biggest media companies in New York! No, this country! It's a multinational conglomerate! They have everything..." He mentioned it with his finger. “Newspaper, magazine, TV channel, you name it! It is very difficult to get a chance there, especially for us new students!
After hearing all this, Ben gulped. Now, he's getting nervous.
Seeing that, Fariq tried to ease the pressure. "Don't worry, bro. I'm sure you'll succeed in the interview and do an amazing job. Anyway, you ..." He stops when he tries to think of something Ben is good at ... "You will ... f*ck your way up!"
...
Fariq grimaced but that was all he could think of...
Ben squinted his eyes. "For God's sake.he's right..."
