The System In My Head
The shvontz

Ben's sudden threat causes Lawrence to retreat, shocking the unknown to intervene out of nowhere. "Who are you?"

Ben moves in between him and the petite girl who is the target of their aggression. When he did, his eyes grew bigger than anyone else, surprised an unknown man would come to his rescue.

"Name Ben. I'm a member of your new group. I wish we could be familiar, but if you say another word to this girl, I'll educate you."

...

Lawrence is initially quiet, shocked by Ben's aggression, but when he realizes he is much taller, Lawrence regains his confidence. "YOU're gonna? That's funny!"

Ben's face turned petrified, and he took a few steps towards Lawrence, the distance between them shrinking until they were close enough to blow. Ben clenched his hand as his muscles tightened, preparing to attack. "Try me..."

Lawrence was about to say something else, but when he saw Ben's muscles pushing out of his clothes, he swallowed his words. Ben did not laze around in the gym and the results showed. Even though he was short, he did not look weak at all. Other than that, there was something else bothering Lawrence. 'Why is he glaring down?'

...

When Ben says he's going to cut his head off, it's for Lawrence to misjudge the intended target of the attack-the forgery...However, that was also true since he did not say which head...

...

As for Lawrence, after evaluating the situation and considering his response, he looked at Ben as if he was looking at a corpse ...

...

In the middle of a quiet fight, just as the tension was mounting.they attacked!

A pair of titties! Professor Tremblay entered the fray!

He approached the group, asking with his French accent, "Why is everyone yelling here?"

Seeing the professor arrive, Lawrence decides to take a diplomatic approach. Ben's gaze made him have a bad feeling in his stomach.even lower still...

He's answering. "Professor, Charlotte lost our USB stick. It contains all the data and tactics that we have been working on over the past week. He said he'd make a cloud backup with him, but it's gone! We want him out of our. group!" The other men and women in his group nodded their heads in support.

Charlotte stared at the ground and squeezed her hands, her breathing becoming short as she realized the entire class was staring at her. That's not the only problem either. He knew that if the professor forced him to handle this project alone, it would destroy his value...

Hearing this story, the professor furrowed his brows. It was a difficult situation. If they don't get along, forcing them to continue working together would be counter-productive, but letting Charlotte work on her own would also put her under tremendous pressure. As for forcing the other group to accept it, after this incident, it would also cause trouble.

When Ben heard what the problem was, he snorted. "So he lost the USB stick, so what? People make mistakes. You want to bluff and kick him out for it? Growing up! I have a better idea. You're not going to throw him out, 'cause he quit! And I'm also leaving your toxic group! We'll start it ourselves!" He looked at the blonde teacher. "Professor, I'd like to ask you to allow the two of us to form our own group ..."

Hearing his words, the two members of the group and Lawrence exchanged glances. "Your own group? Didn't you just get here? You know, I remember seeing your face a few weeks ago. Didn't you miss classes for the past few weeks?" As Lawrence chuckled, he realized... "Professor, I think that's a good idea. I support putting them in their own group."

The professor is not happy with the current dynamics, but this seems to be the best solution to the situation. "Alright, Benjamin, Charlotte, you two will be in separate groups for this competition." Then, he looked around at everyone present. "However, don't let me see one of you causing a commotion in my class again."

As he walked away, Lawrence still laughed at Ben. "I don't know where you're from or what makes you think you can jump in front of me like that, but now you're also out of our group. Since you missed so many classes, I have a good idea where you will end up at this end! I look forward to your failure."

...

If that doesn't work, there's still a stat growth multiplier for knowledge that will make it absorb 10 weeks of information in one. Anyways...

Seeing Lawrence's arrogant expression, Ben smirked. "You laugh now, but when the competition is over, we'll see who laughs later."

"That's gonna be me."

...

Lawrence's quick response surprised Ben a little... He thinks it's the hero's destiny to get the last word... "Then you'll laugh at your loss."

"No, I won't."

...

Ben squinted his eyes. 'You forced me...' Lawrence had him pull out a big gun from his cliche bag... "If it's done, just remember—there's no cure for regret."

"There's an antidepressant."

...

Exhaling deeply, Ben realized this was the toughest rival he faced...

In addition, Ben recognizes this enemy because he is famous; the infamous enemy copy-paste from one web novel to the next like a kind of venereal disease transmitted among writers ...

While gulping his saliva, Ben muttered it slowly—the demon's name. "I've met my first cockroach villain..."

...

Ben knew the conflict would not end until his training montage. He turned around and walked over to Charlotte who was watching all this with her mouth open in disbelief.

"Hello, I'm Ben. Your name is Charlotte?"

He blinked a few times before nodding his head.

"Don't worry about anything. In this competition, you can count on me. I'll support you... You don't look that heavy anyway." Ben showed a warm smile.

Dumbstruck by Ben's actions, Charlotte's mind is muddled. 'Why is he helping me? And he even left the group as well...' In reality, if Ben doesn't intervene and they kick him out of the group, he'll get in big trouble. However, his help ..it made him uncomfortable.

He always finds it difficult to ask for help, but he will never ask for it from a man ... 'No, he wants something ... I can't believe it .. but .. I have no other choice. I'm just.too useless...' Realizing she had no better choice, Charlotte sighed softly. 'Because I will fail alone, then .. I might as well let him do anything ...'

At that point, the professor started the class. "Everyone, please sit down. I'll explain the competition format ..."
