His breath was hunting. He hugged the girl's body. No matter what, his clothes were covered in blood.
"No! Aisha!"
Kio woke up from his sleep. Sweat was pouring down his temple. Whatisthis? The dream felt so real to him. The smell of rusty iron, oil spills, and vehicle fumes still feels fresh in the sense of smell.
Hurriedly Kio called Maisa with trembling hands. Heart's tickling. Not lifted. Until the third time there was a rustling sound from across the phone.
What's up, Brother? What time is it?
The girl's voice sounded hoarse just waking up. Kio rubbed his face. I am glad to hear that his sister is okay. It's just a sleeping flower.
Sis?
A voice from across the phone brought him back. "Oh sorry. I had a bad dream."
Kio turned off the phone. The phone screen still shows at three. He threw himself back into the bed. Closing his eyes with his hands. Teeth crackling. What a bad dream.
The next day, Kio went down to the dining room. Chandra sir is sitting there. His hand held the tablet. His forehead looks wrinkled. Kio looked curious.
On the tablet screen there are 1.8 billion credit accounts. He took the tablet from his father's hand. Maisa Auralina, the name of the account's owner.
"What is this, Pa?" ask Kio to his father.
Mr. Chandra sipped warm tea. "Oh, that's Maisa's monthly money for fifteen years. Yesterday the boy returned it to me."
"Keep Papa just took it?" kio again.
"He wants to go to France" replied Chandra. The girl smiled happily. His chest felt a throbbing pain when the girl held no need for his help anymore to go to college there.
Not that he hated the boy. But it seems he's more dislikeful when the boy doesn't need it anymore. Mr. Chandra is holding his left chest.
Kio watched his father's manner of sighing. "Should I persuade him to go home?"
"No need!"
...****...
Mia ran over to Maisa who was standing in the hallway of the campus. He immediately hugged his arm. The girl looked astonished.
"It seems you're happy again, yes." Maisa pressed on the girl's cheek with her index finger.
Mia just chuckled, not answering the girl's question. He pulled his hand. Want to not want Maisa to keep her steps. The girl pulled him onto the indoor basketball court.
The sound of a foreign ball in his ears. His eyes widened to see so many people on the spectator bench. Looked foreign face that became a fighting opponent.
"What's this?" tanyakanya. His voice was almost covered in the cheers of the audience.
"University G asks for an impromptu match practice. That's why I brought you here. I want to show you how cool Ken and Kio are."
Maisa laughed a little. Substantial. Her friend thought about it. Well, as he said, it's a pity to miss.
Ken and Kio are closely guarded by the opposing team. A player numbered five backs approached Ken, carrying the ball. The guard in the Kio area was weakened. He assists by passing the ball backpass to Kio.
Kio jumped while throwing the ball towards the basket. The finger of an opposing player touches the ball, changing the direction of the shot. The team captain was already preparing below. He jumps to catch the ball and throws it at Ken. Everyone focused on rebounding forgetting about his whereabouts.
"Damn! Block him!" one of the opposing players came running closer.
Kio did a screen to cover the opponent's movements so that his friend was free to move. Ken jumped throwing the curved ball into the basket seamlessly. Cheers from the audience. Ken held his fist up.
Maisa held her breath seeing the quite fierce match. The score ended at 63-61, the campus was two points ahead.
Ken saw the girl waving her hand from the audience bench. He ran to get near her. The audience gave him a way. To be seen, the girl was shocked.
Mia looked at him enviously. He stood on the edge of the guardrail watching Kio downing his mineral water. Someone accidentally pushed him down. Mia closed her eyes tightly, preparing her heart with the worst possibility.
Kio saw the girl fall from behind the guardrail. He threw the bottle, caught the girl. Both fell on the floor.
Didn't hurt. Mia opened her eyes. He was beating Kio's body. The man seemed to grimace in pain. He intended to get up, but Kio held his shoulder.
"Please don't press that," Kio said in a soft voice barely whispering.
The girl's eyes went down. His feet were touching something. Instantly his face blushed. He immediately got up. Kio woke up enduring the pain.
"You all right? Is anyone hurt?" ask the girl.
Mia shook the coconut. "I should have asked. Is Kio's brother injured?"
"No!" Kio turned his face away. There's no way he said it hurt there, right? Too embarrassing.
Ken seemed to be holding back his laughter. I wanted to throw the ball in his face. Maisa stood behind the back of the man looking at him worriedly. I don't know why he was upset. Hey, he's not that weak.
Mia pulls her lover's hand into the club room. Forcing him to sit on the bench. He hacked into P3K boxes looking for wound ointments and bandages.
"I'm fine!" kio moved his hands and feet.
Mia pulled one more bench. He poked the wound ointment and applied it near Kio's slightly bluish lips. It looks like it hit its head when it fell.
Kio noticed the girl's finger approaching touching her lips. He looked at the girl's face. Tight eyelashes, sharp nose, and thick lips.
Mia looked at Kio's face. The eyes of both of them were crooked for quite a while. Real close. As fast as lightning Mia attached the wound plaster to the corner of the male's lips and moved away. It's not good for his heart health.
The girl ran out of the room. Kio gave a small laugh in response to his hilarious appearance.
Again. Kio saw Maisa drenched in blood before him. His body felt cold weakly drooping. She screamed several times and the girl did not open her eyes.
He opened his eyes, taking a deep breath. Why do you dream the same thing twice. Suddenly he felt his feeling was not good. Should he forbid his sister to fly to France.
Someone knocked on his bedroom door. Kio opened the door. Mr. Chandra was standing in front of his room in pajamas.
"Is there anything you're doing inside? You screamed night."
Kio rubbed his eyes. His mouth was wide but his eyes were not sleepy at all. "Pa, how about asking Maisa not to go to Paris."
"What is this empty egg? Get some sleep over there!"
"But...."
"We'll talk again tomorrow morning" joked Chandra again. He left Kio pecking at the door.
The next morning Chandra saw Kio coming down with his mouth evaporating. Under his eyes was a little dark. I could see the boy was sleep deprived.
"Why did you ask me to ban the boy to Paris?"
Kio cleared slowly. Swallowing water several times. "I had a bad dream. Maisa died in front of me."
The deg! Mr. Chandra's body jolted a little. His heart beats faster. He still denied the worries he felt.
"It's just a sleeping flower!"
"But this has been twice. The dream was real in my eyes." Kio stopped his words for a moment. "Does Papa have no intention of making up with him?"
"Kio! It's none of your business!"
Kio clenched both his hands. It seems free to persuade his father. Sadly, the family ended up like this.
