The Horizon Boundaries

The Horizon Boundaries
Ch.59 A Frozen Heart

Maisa enters the restaurant accompanied by Aron. Mr. Chandra was already there first, sitting at a table for a special visitor who did not like the crowd.

From the look on her face, the girl was able to guess it was not something good. Just look at his face. Eyebrows look linked, eyes staring sharply. The nose cup expands and the mouth tightens. Ready to spill those exploding emotions.

Maisa steadied her heart. I don't know what other words he'll hear from his father this time. He pulled a chair and sat down in front of his father. Aron stood watching from a distance.

"Just go. What did you do to Brian's family?" Mr. Chandra's voice sounded furious.

Maisa tilted her head slightly. His forehead creased, figuring out what he had done to the family. How hard he thought, did not find the answer.

"What have I done, Pa?" reply the girl with the lowest and softest voice.

"You seduced them into destroying my company. Is this revenge for expelling you? You brat doesn't know it's lucky," he growled with hatred.

It turns out he was still naive. In his little heart he still expected his father to change to accept him. Some even accused him. What revenge?

"Did Papa accuse me? I didn't do anything!" exclaim Maisa. His chest up and down held all his feelings.

"You asked them not to invest in the company to get my attention. You think I'll forgive all your mistakes. I hope you were never born. That way Arini won't leave pitifully."

"Sir, you've gone too far with Miss Maisa." Aron approached and rebuked him.

"Shut up! This is my family business. You have no right to interfere!" sergeant mr. Chandra is inflamed.

Maisa's body froze. His heart stopped at that moment. Her chest is painful. A clear liquid dripped down his cheeks. All his feelings seemed to shatter formless. His efforts to survive were in vain.

"I am also your son. I don't want to be born like this either. If I could exchange my life, I'd exchange it for my mother's." Maisa wanted to scream, but the only sound that came out was a soft voice held back by various emotions.

Seeing Maisa crying, Mr. Chandra's feeling was slapped. A feeling of tightness filled his chest cavity. He shouldn't have said those words. What has been said cannot be taken back.

His crying stopped, changing with laughter. Maisa's face was flat without emotion. His eyes were empty as if they were lifeless. His heart doesn't hurt.

"Do I have to die and accept your apology, Pa?"

The girl smiled bitterly. He gripped tightly the fork in his hand pointing to his neck. Mr. Chandra is aghast. He stood up to the girl.

A little more the fork touched the surface of his neck. Someone grabbed the fork and threw it away. The sound of metal clanking clashed with the floor.

Ken pulled the girl into his arms. Maisa rebelled. The man held her tightly, not wanting to let go of the girl.

"Stop, Sa! Don't hurt yourself. You deserve to be happy. Live life as you wish even if it's a little selfish."

Ken's words sounded so soft in his ears, seeping into the depths of his heart. He wanted to hear that word from someone's lips. All that is gained is wounds.

Maisa squeezes Ken's shirt until it gets tangled. Drown his head into the chest of his field. Calming calms his chaotic mind.

"What are you doing here, Ken? This is my family business. You have no right to interfere." Mr. Chandra rebuked the young man.

"Om wrong! Maisa has become part of my family. Of course I won't let anyone hurt her." The baritone's voice was cold. His eyes look so piercing.

His attention was distracted as Maisa scattered in his arms. The girl looked up at him. "I want to go home."

Ken agreed. He pulled the girl's arm away from Mr. Chandra. Maisa looked back. His father just stared at his disappearance.

Arriving at the parking lot, Ken holds Maisa's shoulder with both hands. Examine her condition. The girl's face lowered, not daring to meet her eyes.

Ken held his chin. "Sa, wait here for a second. Don't go anywhere! I'm going inside for a second. Someone's missing."

Ken sat down in front of him. "It looks like Om blamed Maisa because Aery Corp delayed the investment. But I emphasize once again Om. We don't invest in people who don't value their own families. So don't blame Maisa. Better to self-introve."

Ken is on the move. Just a few steps he stopped again, turned around. "Ah... Don't cross the line you should or you'll regret it."

Ken's back in the parking lot. But he did not find the girl. Looking left and right. Unseen the figure of the girl. There is nothing in the dining room either. Ken ran to the side of the road.

Ken circulated his gaze one by one on five feet. His steps stopped at the ice cream stand. Maisa bought two ice cream cones. One was given to the boy beside her.

"Sa, if you go please say something. I'm afraid you're doing something, "he approached the girl.

Maisa. He pulled out his phone that was not on. "Sorry, Brother. Hp I'm dead, forgot I cas this morning."

"Who is this kid?" Ken pointed to the boy who was busy licking the ice cream. Seen from his appearance like a stranger. Her hair was red and her eyes were blue.

"Oh he was crying he said separated from his brother. So I bought him ice cream. Brother Ken would?"

Ken breathed a sigh of relief. Nothing bad happened like in his mind. Suddenly a wicked idea emerged from his head. He grabbed the hand of Maisa holding the ice cream, biting it a bit.

"I want you a little bit. It's a reply because it's gone." Ken rolled his eyes at the girl.

Maisa's face turned red. The little boy with him stared intently at the two. Her eyes were round and her puffed cheeks looked adorable.

"Are you okay? Is he bully you?" tanyakanya.

Maisa squatted in front of the boy. He smiled, rubbing his head. "No. He is my boyfriend."

Ken cleared his throat to hear the girl's words. A young man ran towards them. His appearance was not much different from that boy. Her hair is blonde.

"Elkards! Ah... You are here! I've been looking for you."

"Big brother!" The boy ran and hugged his brother.

"Well! It looks like Chris Hemsworth!" maisa exclaimed stunned to see the beautiful sculpture of God.

Whaaat!

Ken squealed inwardly. Can't believe he's just been defeated by a foreign man who looks like his idol. Even the girl stared at him unblinkingly.

"Thanks a lot miss! I was neglecting to look after Elkard" said the man in mixed language.

"It's okay. But you are so handsome. You can make all the ladies scream."

Ken gaped at the tacky words from the lips of the girl. The man laughed a little.

"My pleasure!"

Ken pulls Maisa away before the girl does anything unexpected. Maisa smilingly waved at the little boy.

Ken took her home. With the condition of the girl, he could not bear to leave her alone in the small house. Both of them sat in the living room.

"Sa, don't you intend to say something to me? At least I can help you" Ken said.

Maisa was silent for a moment. "All right! I'm gonna tell you why my dad hates me so much. I hope you don't hate me either."

Ken grabbed the girl's hand, grasped it tightly. "I won't hate you."
