The Horizon Boundaries
Ch.45 Birthday Preparation

Saturday morning, Kio and his friends were seen preparing for an outdoor party in the garden next to the house, close to the pool. Some event organizer employees are busy installing decorations for the event.

It looks like party trinkets are arranged in such a way that they seem simple, minimalist, and elegant. They seem to be passionate about designing a party.

Maisa and Mia noticed the crowd working hard preparing for the party. Occasionally help get some decorative trinkets to install.

"Well! It looks so festive. Cool! The party will definitely be festive," Mia told the girl beside her.

“That's. You're coming, aren't you, Mia?"

"Sure dong. This is also one of the opportunities for me to get close to Kak Kio," Mia replied whispering in her ear.

Maisa chuckles softly. He hit the girl's arm slowly. "You're persistent too, yeah!"

Mia laughed a little. "Of course! As long as the yellow janur hasn't curved."

Ken noticed Maisa who was joking with Mia. Laughter on his face. She looks beautiful when it is like that. His feet tripped over the back drop floor. Ken is in pain. He cursed in the heart.

Maisa immediately approached as soon as she heard her voice. His face looks worried.

"Sir Ken is okay? Is there any injury? Let me get you some medicine."

Maisa left after approaching Ken. Steps ceased. Ken caught his wrist. He turned to look at the man. Ken shook his head. A smile spread across his face.

"I'm not hurt, Sa. Just a hum."

Maisa breathed a sigh of relief. "really? Thank goodness then."

"Everything else, the eyes are properly worn. Don't whine" exclaimed Kio from behind Ken. He looks busy putting up imitation vines.

Ken was upset with Kio. Maisa just laughed. Ken tightened his hand, kissing the back of the girl's hand. Maisa immediately pulled out her hand. His cheeks are red.

Kio clucked annoyedly at the sight of the two. Not to help but make fun.

"Woi... Please get me the leaflet next to it, dong!" exclaimed Kio pointed at the green pile not far from him.

Mia rushed to pick it up some, and handed it to him. "This, Brother!"

Kio watched Mia who was smiling for a moment. He immediately took the vines in the girl's hand without saying anything.

"Please get me the plastic fence over there," he said. His chin moved pointing at the plastic fence not far from the pile of vines.

Mia rushed to pick it up again and handed it to him. Kio just quietly took the thing from his hand.

Mia looked at the plastic fence Kio had installed rather obliquely. He helped to hold the other end, while Kio tied the other side again.

Kio's hand accidentally touched his hand. Both pairs of eyes rubbed for a moment. Mia withdrew her hand, turning her gaze towards Erik who was busy transporting pots of ornamental plants.

"Sorry, Brother!"

"Curtain!" Suddenly Kio was annoyed to see the girl watching Erik. He immediately removed it from his mind. This is not related to him, why should he be upset.

Maisa watched the two from a distance. Mia enthusiastically helps Kio pick up items and help arrange them. When he saw Kio, his smile disappeared, changing his desire to clap his head.

"Don't worry! It takes time for Kio to be sensitive to his feelings," said Ken who sat down to rest next to him.

Maisa nodded. His eyes are still paying attention to all the busy decorating the back drop for later events.

Not feeling the afternoon. Everything is ready for tomorrow's show. The table is round and the bench is set, the back drop is fully installed.

"Sip!" erik gave a thumbs up.

Mia was ushered home first by Erik with his sport bike. Ken opened his helmet, smiling at Maisa. His hands ruffled the girl's hair.

"Tomorrow I'll pick you up, yeah. I'm gonna take you somewhere first."

Maisa tidied up her messy hair. "okay, Sis. Be careful on the road."

"Have gone home. You guys just make eye pain," said Kio snorting annoyed with a grumbling tone. Moving his hand, Ken quickly walked away.

Ken ignores Kio's scolding and drives his bike to disappear at the end of the road. Maisa returns to the garden beside the house, retrieving her phone left there.

A bunch of faux white roses fell in the wind not from him. Maisa picks up and pairs it back on the pillar beside the back drop.

"What are you doing?"

Kio's voice surprised him. The flower that had just been reassembled fell. He picked it up again and put it in place.

"There's a flower that's falling, brother."

"Don't hold anything. It'll be a mess."

“Pelit very, sis. I just fixed it.”

Maisa left that place. Accidentally his foot tripped the foot of the bench. He complained of pain. Spontaneous hand looking for a grip. He pulled the flower until it broke.

"She's!" exclaimed Kio from across the pond in an annoyed tone.

"Ups! Sorry are! I didn't mean it."

"Review you, yes!"

Kio rushed to him. Maisa dodged away around the edge of the pool. He laughed instead, making Kio even more annoyed. There was a chase action.

Maisa was out of breath after running long enough to avoid Kio. Breathing violently. Unknowingly, Kio was already behind him and clasped him all of a sudden. Maisa was shocked. He took the flower in his hand.

"Because, you!" Exclaims. Kio immediately let go of his sister, went to the pillar, put the flowers together again.

The afternoon wind blew quite fiercely, a pillar looked sloping, almost collapsing. Maisa ran towards Kio and pushed her away until she fell down. Sure enough the pillar collapsed where Kio had previously stood. Maisa loses her balance and falls into the pool.

"What's this?"

Mr. Chandra who had just arrived, ran over to Kio who was grimacing in pain. Arm scratched. Mr. Chandra took his son to the side porch. He immediately went inside to take the medicine.

Maisa who can't swim tries to go up to the surface. He asked for help with a drowning voice. His hands moved to defend themselves to remain on the surface.

Kio realizes Maisa is invisible since pushing her. Matannya nyalang search for the whereabouts of the girl to every corner of the park. There's nothing anywhere. He ran to the edge of the pool. Maisa is not visible on the surface of the pool. But the surface of the pond was still rippling like there was something there. The worst possibility flashed across his head. There's no way the kid drowned. Kio's face paled instantly.

“Maisa!” hysterical shouting.

Meanwhile the breathless Maisa slowly sank to the bottom of the pond. He tried to stretch his hand up. No one's reaching for it. Some oxygen bubbles came out of his nose.

Am I going to die here. There is still a lot I want to do. Did Ken's brother get home safely. Suddenly I miss him.

Maisa started to close her eyes. Someone was swimming towards him. He reached his hand. After that everything went dark.
