"Where's the kid?" Mr. Chandra asked Kio at dinner.
Maisa's not seen there. Usually the child is most excited if eating together. The child's absence disturbs his mind.
"Oh, he's staying at his friend's house" Kio replied briefly.
Maisa had indeed sent a message to him not to come to dinner and stay at the house of his college friends. But he didn't explain who his friend was. The most boy was staying at Mia's place. Who else was familiar with her besides the girl.
"Oh....!" Mr. Chandra did not ask any further. As long as the kid doesn't make trouble, that's enough.
The next day, Kio was busy with his job as a guest host on a private television station. He did not pay attention to his sister anymore. After doing his job, Kio immediately drove his bike. He went to the clubroom, where they used to gather. Erik and his friends were there.
“Hai, guys! Sorry, late," he said with a big smile.
His eyes swept through the room. He didn't find Ken there. His forehead wrinkled.
"Where, Ken?" Ask again.
Erik shrugged his shoulders. He had no news from his friend. Last time I met you was yesterday afternoon.
"At most he was busy with many jobs," Erik replied.
Kio noticed Mia who was busy taking note of the basketball team's training menu. His forehead wrinkled.
"Where is Maisa?" His eyes were on Erik again. He was busy tidying his hair using a comb borrowed from Mia.
"Where do I know. Ask Mia, here. Not me. What did you eat wrong today? Tumben asked a lot," said Erik in a slightly upset tone.
Mia frowned as Kio asked Maisa's whereabouts. That's how important he is to that man. It was always Maisa who was asked. The girl is dating Ken.
"Maisa hasn't been with me since yesterday either."
"He didn't stay at your house?"
Mia shakes. Kio clucked resentfully realizing where the child had gone. He ruffled his hair. Will runyam if his father finds out. The boy didn't make trouble. Throwing the backpack that had been on his shoulder to the floor. His hand called Ken. There was a sound of a connected tone across the street.
"Whoi, Ken. Turn people's children. It's good to take it everywhere as good as you can! Take him home now! No, just take it to campus," Kio sprayed it as soon as the phone picked up.
Ja. Don'worry. I didn't do anything to her. The sister complex.
Ken immediately disconnects the phone from across. Kio looked at his phone with a furious look. "What did he say. Goddamnit!"
Everyone there looked at him questioningly. Kio who is usually indifferent suddenly attention to Maisa who incidentally is Ken's girlfriend.
Mia squeezed the end of her shirt. Both eyebrows are tied. Her chest ached hearing her tremors attracted to her own best friend.
"Why are you paying attention to Maisa, Ka? Maisa already has a boyfriend," he said slowly.
Kio looked at him sharply. The corner next to his eyebrow was raised. His hands were still busy sending out many spam messages to Ken and Maisa.
"Must not be attentive to my own sister. You're weird!" his voice grumbled.
"Well!"
The whole room was shocked to hear his words. Kio stopped his busyness, realizing the one that had just been revealed. It seemed like he was unraveling his own secret unknowingly. But yeah, that's it. They will also be found out later.
Mia smiled slightly hearing that. His troubled heart was now back in relief. He breathed a sigh of relief. In his heart he apologized to Maisa, because it was bad to think of him. He did not think they were brothers. He should have realized the two looked similar together. Erik patted his shoulders softly, encouraging. Blink one of his eyes. He blushed in shame.
Kio saw the familiarity of the two was a little upset. But he just kept quiet, as if he didn't care. "I'd like to ask you guys to help arrange the show next week."
“You want to marry?” Erik asked, trying to joke. He got a cold look from Kio. The boy cannot be joked.
“Day breakup, maybe,” said Bandi, one of the basketball team members commented.
Kio's face grew sour hearing it. He just nodded his head listening to the chatter of his friend who did not know himself, more precisely ask for disleding.
Kio sighed in annoyance. “Already, deh. Not so,” he said slowly.
Erik draped his hand to Kio's neck while smiling in a knot. Kio threw away his face. He giggled to see it.
“Hei, Bro! Don't upset. Soon old and unable to mate, you know!” joking.
Kio snorted in annoyance, putting on a murderous gaze. “Indeed is old time. You're the one who's unconscious! Oh.... I still have class. Unplug it first yes.”
Kio grabbed his bag on the floor and rushed out. Mia comes out, her steps. "Is Maisa okay?" ask Mia.
"Yes!" balas Kio kept walking along the corridor.
Mia breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank God then."
Kio walked away, disappearing at the end of the corridor. Mia put on a lethargic face. It takes a lot of effort to get close to the man.
...****...
Kio was sleepy listening to the explanation from Mr. Miki. After college he rushed out of class, finding a stranger waiting outside.
Mia leaned her body against the wall. Wiggling his legs kicked the air. Some students went out of class through it.
"What are you doing here?" Someone's baritone voice shocked him.
The girl looked. Kio was already standing beside him. His face looks sour.
Mia smoothed her smile. His fingers squeezed the end of his shirt. "There's something I want to talk to you about, Ka."
Kio's speechless. The people who passed by noticed both. "alright. Where's where?"
Mia took him to a park bench in a corner of the building that rarely passed by people. A place that gives memories of when Kio gave him cola.
Mia gives a can of cold cola. The man in front of him accepted it without commenting.
"So what do you want to talk about?"
He could guess the direction of the girl's conversation. Given her attitude that always wanted to stick to him.
"Can I go to your house, Ka?" mia asked almost with a shouting tone. He covered his mouth with both hands.
"Huh?" Kio was seen gawking at Mia's question just now. Estimates missed.
"Yes, because Maisa's your sister. So I'd love to take a walk to your house. He always avoided me if I asked if I could stop by."
"Just your luck," Kio said in a bored tone. His fingers rubbed his neck. What the hell was he expecting. So ridiculous.
The girl's eyes widened. His smile expands on his face. He hugged Kio so excited. Her lips thanked her.
Kio pecked at getting a sudden hug. His body stiffened, even his own heartbeat felt like it sounded in his ears. A second later he pushed the girl away.
Mia could hear the grin put on a sinless face. "Ups! Sorry, Ka. Kebablasan."
Kio clucked resentfully leaving the girl. Mia is still smiling. Kio's shadow disappeared in the corner of the corridor. The girl pranced like crazy.
"I have to tell Maisa later."
