"What are you thinking now, brother?" mia asked Kio who was sitting next to her.
The man was not focused on playing basketball. There were already nearly countless balls that had been snatched from his hands. Not to mention the shot in the ring missed everything.
Kio leaned his back against the girl's back. His hands wiped the sweat dripping down his neck. For a moment he finished a bottle of mineral water up to the toilet. His gaze was straight at the student who was passing by on the edge of the basketball court.
Maisa wasn't seen on campus today. There is only Ken who is still training one-on-one basketball on the court opposite the captain. Ken did not want to open his mouth when he asked where Maisa was.
"Is this related to Maisa?" mia asked again after not getting an answer from the man.
Kio nodded slowly. Mia wants to reconcile the two. Before opening his mouth, his phone rang first.
"You see him. I'll help you." Mia smiled showing the number on her phone screen. That's Maisa. Mia received a call from the girl. He talked to her long enough.
Kio only noticed the girl who was already his lover. If you knew what was going on between her and Maisa, Mia would hate her.
Mia pulled the man's hand. The girl smiled cheerfully. "Yuk, come with me. Today's training is over."
Kio watched the sign written there. A bakery as well as a cafe. He saw Maisa sitting alone inside.
Mia clasped her hand, directly approaching the girl's desk. "Sorry, yeah. It was a bit jammed on the road.
The girl took a seat in front of Maisa. Inevitably Kio sat beside him. He looked at Maisa's face. In his heart he was grateful that the girl was fine.
"I didn't think you'd bring your girlfriend in front of me" Maisa chuckled.
"What is dong. You also often take Ken with you when you're with me. Consider it revenge. I'll order ya." Mia rolled her eyes at the girl.
Maisa nodded. Stay alone with Kio. The man looked confused and wanted to say something.
"I've heard from Brother Ken that Brother told him to pick me up. I'm grateful to you. Thanks to that I did not do anything terrible," said Maisa chose to start the conversation first.
Kio frowned. His face looks full of regret. "But I didn't do much to help you."
Maisa smiled sincerely. "No! That's enough for me. I know you don't hate me anymore. I will live as I wish now. So I hope Brother also lives life as you wish."
Kio clasped his hands tightly from behind the table. "Can I do it. I've hurt you a lot."
"Why can't. Yes even though Brother is a little coward." Maisa laughed lightly at him.
"Huh? I don't really."
Both nets are widened. Kio was annoyed by his ridicule. On the other hand he was also happy that his sister found her own happiness.
I chose some pastry. He took an apple strudle, choux, and a fruit pie. Arriving at the table, Maisa was no longer there.
Kio smiled faintly at him. His face looks different. His decision to let the two talk turned out to be just right.
"Where's Maisa?"
"He's gone" the man replied slowly.
"Are you feeling better, brother?"
"It's okay. I know Kio's little coward." Mia laughed a little.
Kio snorted in annoyance. "Why did you become like Maisa?"
"Of course it's because we're friends." Mia grinned and moved her two fingers to form the letter v.
Mia's gaze was fixed on two tickets to the amusement park in front of Kio. He grabbed. That's the entrance ticket for the fine biang lala. The man realized Mia's point of view.
"It's from Maisa. Said he wasn't going for a walk because Ken had a sudden job. Wanna go there?"
Mia embraces Kio with a sparkling face. Kio turned his face away. There was a red hue on his cheek. The girl smiled. She is exactly like Maisa. Is it because they are brothers?
Both of them are already in the queue. Mia hummed happily. Kio clasped the girl's hand tightly. He smiled thinly.
"Please!" said the guard officer.
Kio helped the girl up inside. The wheel is slow spinning. The two sat quietly facing each other, watching the twinkling lights of Jakarta that never died.
Kio took out a red rose stalk from behind his jacket and handed it to Mia. The girl accepted it with unblinking eyes. He knows what it means. A pair of red roses symbolizes mutual love and affection.
"I'll give you roses every time I date." Kio smiled gently at him.
Mia's heart was racing. His stomach felt as if a butterfly was flying. He doesn't know what his face is like now. Must have blushed red.
Kio has a romantic side. Contrary to the normal attitude that is jutek and likes to ignore others.
Suddenly there was a shocking vibration. Biang lala stopped when he was at the top. Mia pushed forward and fell in Kio's arms. The distance between the two is very close. Mia could feel the man's breath hitting her face. He closed his eyes.
A gentle kiss landed on his aunt. The girl tightened her grip on Kio's jacket. Lala's voice shook and started moving again. The two sat down, a little further away.
The mood feels awkward. Mia did not dare to look at the man's face. His hand held his lips. Kio also threw his face to the side, looking at the reflection of the girl. He smiled lightly touching his own lips. Both thought the same thing.
That was my first kiss.
Meanwhile, Mr. Chandra threw himself onto the sofa. His head feels heavy. He had just called his father and mother in Jogja, asking about Maisa's medical history.
Why are you asking that now Chandra. I've been telling you for a long time, Maisa's been depressed ever since you left her here. I told you it's not good to leave it here. The boy kept blaming himself and always had bad dreams. I didn't get my heart to see it. Luckily he has a good friend here.
The sound of bells. Bi Tari opened the door. It was Maisa who came to visit. He took the girl to the middle room. There his father was sleeping there.
Mr. Chandra immediately woke up knowing who was coming. Maisa sat down in front of him.
"What do you want to say?" said Mr. Chandra with a heavy tone.
Maisa frowned. Mr. Chandra's face looks tired. His eye bags are starting to blacken. There was a little bit of worry about him. Does his father look unwell.
"I'm not going back to this house again, Pa. I will pursue my own dreams from now on. So I'll say one more time. Forgive all the mistakes I've made all this time." The girl spoke with a peaceful face. A warm smile spread on his lips.
His body felt frozen hearing Maisa's words. When I wanted to say sorry, her lips felt faint. He continued to stare until Maisa left the house.
