The Horizon Boundaries
Ch.36 Clarification

"When do you want to hide there?" Ken Exclamations.

He approached Maisa and Mia who were crouching not far from him. Both hands went into his pants pocket. The two girls stood up, laughing awkwardly.

"Sorry, Ka. I was invited by Maisa. Then I'll go first." Mia felt a sharp look aimed at her. He rushed to escape.

"Well, Mia. Wait!"

Maisa extended her hand towards Mia who disappeared at the end of the corridor. Ken crossed both hands. His eyes stared intently at the girl before him. Maisa gulped her saliva. It looks like Ken is angry with her.

"Sorry, Ka. I didn't mean to eavesdrop," Maisa said quietly. Head lowered.

Ken grabbed his chin. "Hm.... Then?"

Maisa brushed off Ken's hand. He turned his face away, staring at the passerby in the distance. Trying to strengthen his heart, his eyes glanced towards the man before him. Ken was still staring at him intensely. It turns out to be persistent too.

"I... I don't like Ka Ken being close to other women."

Maisa's voice stammered. He covered his red face with both hands. Shame about his own words.

"Gpff..."

Ken laughed a little. The back of the hand covered half of his face. I didn't think her boyfriend would say it out loud. He just teased her.

The silent corner atmosphere of the building made his laughter sound clear. Maisa put her hand down. Her face was sour, her lips were frowning.

"I'll just go."

Maisa intended to take a thousand steps. Ken grabbed her from behind. He rested his chin on his lover's shoulder.

"Sorry! Pardon me! I didn't mean to."

...****...

Alice reveals a picture of her childhood with Ken. They both look happy together. Is it true that their relationship is fractured because of the third person?

Maisa read the magazine in annoyance. He squeezes the edges of the paper until it is tangled. Put the magazine on the table. His hand picked up the remote in front of him and turned on the television.

There is celebrity news being aired. The reporter invited Alice as a guest star. The girl smiled as she shook hands with the reporter.

We were both friends since childhood and were comfortable with each other. He liked me a while ago too. But Ken started to change a few months ago. I didn't think she would introduce her boyfriend to me. It hurts....

Maisa grunts off her television. He took the canvas and painted it. Step into the gazebo at the back of the house, along the marble rocks covered with Japanese grass.

His hand began to sweep the brush onto the stalled canvas. All the concepts in his head evaporated somewhere. The news about Ken and Alice is disturbing. He put his brush on the palette, laying on the floor. The gentle wind blew making his mouth yawn. Slowly his eyes closed and fell asleep.

Alice smiled gently touching Ken's cheek. The man returned his gentle smile. He grabbed the girl's hand and kissed her. Alice's cheeks blushed red.

"I love you Alice."

"Me too, Ken."

The two joined hands, walking in tandem. Maisa ran up to the two. Their distance is getting further away.

"To Ken! Wait!"

Maisa fell. His eyeballs are wide. Ken and Alice have disappeared.

"People like you don't deserve to be happy." Kio laughed softly. He walked away. Maisa tried to reach him, did the hand power not arrive.

"Stay away from my life. You have no right to be by our side."

Mr. Chandra's turn to walk left Maisa alone in the all-white room. He tried to stand up, his steps stumbled after the four.

"Don't leave me alone. Papa! Kio Ka! Ken Ka!" He screamed with all his might. Silence, no answer.

"Sa... Maisa's...." I can hear someone calling him.

Someone shook his body. He opened his eyes. Blurry, slowly refocus. Recognize who that figure is.

Ken bursts into Kio's house in search of her lover's whereabouts. Slightly grumbling, Kio escorted her to the gazebo behind the house.

"Father! Kio Ka! Ka Ken's! Don't leave me!"

The whisper of the girl was heart-wrenching. He grabbed the girl, shaking her body.

Maisa opened her eyes. Ken looked at her with a worried look. His hand rubbed the tears flowing in the corner of the girl's eyes.

"Make it not sleep. Dream burukkan be," said Kio with a thin tone. He is upset to see the togetherness of Maisa and Ken.

Ken glared at him. He shrugged his shoulders, immediately leaving the two behind. Maisa's consciousness is back. He immediately broke away from Ken's arms, retreating a few inches.

"Since when have you been here, Ka?"

"Barusan, really. You read the latest news about my scandal, Sa?"

Maisa was silent, not answering. Ken took a long breath. He hurt that girl again. Maisa's nightmare must be because of her.

Ken held the girl's shoulder. "Sa! I'll sort this out. It's my fault for not being so strict. I consider Alice a friend. I actually hurt you."

Maisa held Ken's cheek gently. He smiled thinly. "Don't push yourself, Ka."

Ken grabbed the girl's hand, kissed the back of her hand. His left hand was clasping the girl's cheek. "Don't worry. I'm not forcing myself."

Maisa was rolling around in her room. His hands hugged tightly. Wake up a little, go to sleep again. The incident this afternoon was still imagined. His feet kicked the air.

The ringing tone of his phone rang. He grabbed a posel on his bedside nightstand. Mia number on the screen. He picked up his phone.

"Sa. You watch celebrity shows on the news?"

Maisa frowned. He watched it this morning. "He was this morning. Why the hell?"

"Quick watch now. There's Ken in there!" Mia immediately disconnected the phone.

"Why, anyway?"

Maisa held on for a while. He finally decided to go down. In the living room there is already Kio facing the television screen. There Ken was there holding a press conference. He closed his mouth with both hands.

"No way!"

...****...

"How long does it take to prepare for a press conference?"

Ken called Albert on his way to take a taxi to the boutique house. His hands were busy flipping through the sebritis magazine on his lap.

"It doesn't take long. Want me to call some of my acquaintance's reporters?" Albert said from across.

"Then please hold it at Hotel JW."

Albert was laughing from across the street. "okay! Okay fine! What the hell didn't make that guy."

Ken turned off his phone, taking a deep breath. He ruffled his hair.

"Please go to Hotel JW, sir." He told the taxi driver.

"Good, Mas."

Ken's cab drove fast on the highway. The streets are not too crowded. Taxi to the Hotel JW. Albert was standing in the lobby waiting for Ken to arrive. Several security personnel are on guard to prepare for the unwanted.

Albert escorted her to the hall room for a press conference. There were enough reporters gathered. A flash of camera light greeted him upon entering the room. Ken went straight to the podium.

"In response to some issues that have been circulating lately. Alice and I have been friends since childhood. In quotes, just befriend. The issue of our dating is not true. Right now there is only one woman who is my lover. So also in the future. I don't have to show you who he is. He was always in my heart. I want her to be happy next to me. That'sthat's all. So I beg you not to load the news that is not clear the truth that can make my lover hurt. I really love her. Ah...! The matter of the photo of Alice and me like kissing was not as imagined. Nothing happened between us. I think it is necessary to thumbs up because taking pictures from the right angle makes others misunderstand. Thank you." Thank you."

Ken went out of the room with Albert. In the car, he breathed a sigh of relief. It felt a little burden on his shoulders lifted.

"Really love her, uh...?" Albert chuckled softly.

Ken has changed. He could not guess what he would do again from now on. There is a saying that when you fall in love, the world around you changes as well. Albert shook his head. Understand the soul of youth.

"Shut up! I can't say that. I mean, I'm just saying how I feel."

"Oh...Okay fine! Don't be so hard."
