Maisa splashes white paint using a toothbrush to create a light spot effect. He put down his brush, stopped the footage from his camera. A simple painting of a night panorama decorated with flippers of stars. There are three shooting stars. The silhouette of a tree stood firm, in the moonlight. The girl moved the video to the laptop and started editing it.
Bi Tari approached the gazebo behind the house where Maisa was still cool with her laptop. Beside the gazebo there is a mango tree and a favorite fish pond Mr. Chandra. The tray carried contained Maisa's favorite lemon ice and some snacks.
"Auntie doesn't understand painting at all. But this painting is good, Non."
Bi Tari put the tray on the table. Maisa smiled, her eyes glancing towards the painting she just made.
"Thank you, Bi."
Almost three hours Maisa struggled in front of the laptop, her fingers dancing agilely edit the video that was just recorded. The index clicked the enter button, finished rendering, live video uploaded on his Youtube and Instagram channels under the name Aporia.
The sound of cars entering the yard. Maisa rushed into the living room welcoming her with a smile developing on her face. Mr. Chandra had just come from his office immediately passed after returning a greeting from him. His face was flat as usual.
Maisa looked at her with a sad face until her silhouette disappeared from behind the stairs. Being ignored is painful. He went back to the gazebo, the video finished uploading. To get rid of confusion, his mind was busy replying to Instagram DM.
Mr. Chandra looked at his daughter from a second-floor window. It was hard to get a warm welcome from him. Her heart also ached when she saw her daughter grieving. But the ego still rules his mind. There was a strange tickling feeling when he saw his daughter smiling while typing something on his laptop. Maisa realized her father's whereabouts, she waved her hand. Mr. Chandra immediately closed the window curtain.
...****...
Maisa tries to avoid Ken. Kio would not like it if his friend was close to him. He chose to hide in the library or crouch in the painting room while continuing his unfinished realistic painting.
The girl looked back and forth to make sure Ken wasn't around. He went to the library alone. Mia has been traveling somewhere when soon the time to go to college. Maisa intends to take the library member card that she created a few days ago.
It just so happens that the library visitor is deserted. When Maisa was about to enter, her hand was pulled violently by someone. He was shocked and almost punched the person who pulled it.
It turned out that that person was his brother. His face looked sour as if he was holding back anger. A little confused, he followed his brother.
Kio pressed Maisa's body against the wall to keep her from wrinkling. His breath rose and fell in anger. Maisa just looked at him question markingly. Did he ever meet Ken? It doesn't seem to be according to his assumption.
“I told you. Don't go near my friend,” said Kio with explosive anger.
Maisa just being quiet makes Kio even more angry. He pressed his hand even harder to make Maisa sting. But Kio doesn't care. His heart was filled with anger.
Maisa pushed Kio's body away from her. Kio relaxed the pressure of his hand. Maisa tried to take in as much oxygen as she could, and turned her head in surprise. He showed a meaningful smile.
“Why is Brother Kio so angry? I didn't take your friend. Then what's the problem? Is everything I do bothering you?” maisa asked quietly and sounded soft in the ears.
Kio was furious to hear it. “Heh, you don't have a heart where you know how other people feel. You just want to take everything, right? Like that moment."
Nyut! His heart ached as Kio said something hurtful. His hands clenched tightly. I want to feel like hitting him. He tried to hold back all his feelings, maintaining his flat face. He cannot look weak in front of the man.
“That's all, right?” maisa tried to calm down.
Maisa tidied up her tangled clothes. After picking up the library card, he stepped out, down the campus corridor. During class, the girl held her painful hand.
“Basic sister. Squeezing people not approx,” grunts.
"Where's the plan?" Mia is taking Maisa's footsteps. Both are out of class. Today's class is pretty short.
Maisa hugged a few books in her hand. "Plan to go to the art club for a minute."
"When you were taking the road." Mia was shaking her lips.
Maisa laughed a little. "Sorry! Next time, yeah"
The two split at the corridor intersection. Mia joined some of her friends. He waved to her. Maisa waved her hand back.
The girl continued to her original destination. From the front he saw Ken and Erik walking towards him. The eyes of the two met with a look. From the side of the corridor was Kio who was walking towards them.
A little bit panicked. His eyes glanced forward and to the side. Her brain worked quickly, Maisa immediately turned her body around in a direction. But there was an unexpected event.
Ken sped up his steps followed by Erik who looked puzzled. The girl in front of him looked panicked. Someone ran away in a hurry without seeing the road, bumping into Maisa's shoulder. The girl lost her balance.
Maisa was surprised, dropping the book she was carrying. His hand immediately pulled the collar of Erik and Ken's clothes that had been in front of him. There is no romantic scene where male leads help female leads if there is a problem. All three collapsed kissing the softness of the porcelain floor.
I heard a loud sound. Ken and Erik's backs hit the floor. Maisa falls between the two. His face almost hit the floor if Ken didn't hold it. Some passers-by just laughed at the scene just now.
"Woi! If you look around first dong." Erik cursed annoyed at the person who hit them earlier. But it seems like that person has already escaped.
"Anjir it," he grumbled.
Maisa rushes to get up to pick up her book which is scattered with Ken's help. Kio approached and helped Erik stand up. Ken handed the book to Maisa. The girl smiled in thanks.
"You're okay, right? nobody got hurt, right?" Ken watched the girl from the tip of her foot to the tip of her head, looking for any wounds on her body. What's wrong with him, it feels strange to suddenly worry about someone. The girl patted her dirty clothes.
Maisa shook her head. He has to get out of here. There was someone who had been staring at him sharply since just now, as if telling him to get out of the way immediately. He glanced at his silent brother but gave off an ominous aura. Maisa thanked him once again and hurried to reverse the escape.
"Wait..." Ken tried to catch his wrist but was unsuccessful. The girl quickly disappeared at the end of the corridor.
Erik looks astonished at his best friend this one. He seems to be very interested in the girl just now. But strangely Kio looks not like it. What's with both. He felt no stranger to the girl.
"Wait on! She was the girl who kicked the bottle, right?" ask her to Kio.
Kio. Ken glanced at her, feeling that Kio hated the girl. What does this have to do with the girl. There was a sense of annoyance appearing in the corner of his heart. On the other hand, he got another reason for being interested in approaching the girl. The tip of his lips rose to form a smile.
