The two words that Gio spoke back then managed to make Flora's heart pound. But that was not the first time Gio said it. Gio had said the word many times, but Flora thought of it as mere seduction. But this time around, there was seriousness to Gio's face and eyes.

"You still think I'm kidding, Flora?"

Flora shook her head without taking her eyes off the man before her.

"I've repeatedly told you that I love you why you don't believe it. Now you're back to my sister. Did you know that hurt me so much?" Gio pressed his forehead against Violetta's forehead.

Flora further held her heartbeats when they were very close and only limited by the cloth attached to their bodies. Within such a close distance, Flora could feel Gio's breathing that made Flora's heart beat even more unfounded. Flora chose to close her eyes because she could not see Gio's gaze.

"I'm sorry Gio if I've hurt you, but please .. don't change" Flora said.

"Why? It's my way of forgetting my love for you" Gio said.

Flora's eyes opened again.

"Because I miss the old 'Gio ku'" said Flora.

My gio? Is it not too selfish to call him 'Gio ku' because in reality Gio is not his.

"Your gio? What do I mean to you, Flora."

"I can't interpret it. It's just that right now I miss Gio who likes to bully me, protect me, and I really miss the 'honey' call you used to say to me." Flora did not know why the words came out of her mouth just like that.

"Do you think I don't miss any of that. I miss bothering you, I miss you the most and what I miss the most is your fierce face." A small laugh adorned the lips of the two.

"Can we be friends like we used to be?" pinya Flora's.

"What if I ask for more?" ledek Gio's.

"Gio .. Stop teasing me." Flora pushed Gio's shoulders, to make some distance between them.

"Don't you say you miss me when I tease you?" ledek Gio followed his little laugh.

Tok tok tok tok

The sound of knocking on the door stopped Flora's words. Both of them looked towards the door. Gio then let out a rough breath, and cursed inwardly, who would dare to disturb him.

"I will open the door" said Flora who was immediately embraced by Gio.

Flora stepped up to open the door, while Gio stepped towards the sofa that was in the corner of his room. Flora's hand moved to open the door when the door opened there was Abi standing before her.

"Mas Abi, please come in" said Flora.

"Flora .. are you here?" ask Abi.

"Yes, there's something I'm talking about with Gio" Flora said.

"You're okay, right?" There was a worried tone to Abi.

"Yes I'm fine. Please come in. I'll go to lunch first" said Flora

Flora returns to her desk to retrieve her phone to contact Mutya. However, when going to press Mutya's phone number, there was a call that went into his phone first.

Number not known?

Out of curiosity, Flora finally decided to take the call. Flora pressed the green button and pressed the flat object near her ear. Flora's face turned pale as Flora heard someone's voice from across there.

"Well, I'll come" Flora said before ending the call.

Flora goes into the cafe that Mariana told her about. Upon arriving inside the cafe, Flora circulated her gaze to look for the figure she was looking for. After a while of searching, Flora finally found Mariana. Soon Flora stepped up to approach Mariana.

"Corn, Madam," said Flora.

"Sit down!" ask Mariana.

"Okay, ma'am," said Mariana.

Flora pulled the chair right in Mariana's hopes for where she was sitting. There was a nervousness mixed with anxiety growing inside Flora.

"What do you want to talk to me about" Flora said.

"I don't want to talk to you anymore either. So I'll get straight to the point" Mariana said.

"Leave my son!" ask Mariana.

Flora was not surprised to hear what Mariana said. He could've shot Mariana.

"Even though my husband has approved of you, but until now I will not approve of your relationship" continued Mariana.

Flora lowered her face while firmly grasping the bag that was on her lap.

"Daniel needs a much better companion than you and I've chosen one. If you really want Daniel to be happy .. leave Daniel right now!" mariana.

Flora's heart was like being stabbed by a dagger over and over again after hearing the words from Mariana. Clear liquid instantly dripped from Flora's eyes.

"Why do you hate me so much, ma'am?" ask Flora. "What mistake did you make that made you hate me so much?"

"I hate you because you are related to Daniel. I don't like that and you don't deserve my son" Mariana said.

"But we love each other" Flora joked.

Mariana shook her head while smiling at megejek. "Daniel is my only child, so I want the best for my child .. So let go of my child, leave him for his happiness" Mariana said.

"If you insist on maintaining your relationship .. then I will insist on separating you" Mariana said.

Mariana got out of the chair. "This is all I want to talk about. I wish you could consider what I said."

Mariana leaves the cafe leaving Flora in her grief. Three times, Flora had already gotten a rejection from Mariana. You idiot! That title feels worth giving to Flora.

What's the harm really? Flora just felt so in love with Daniel. When Ardi says she will approve of her relationship with Daniel, Flora feels there is a green light for her relationship with Daniel. But who would have thought Mariana still insisted she would not bless their relationship.

It felt like Flora wanted to just give up on her relationship with Daniel. There was no hope for him and Daniel anymore. Flora took a deep breath to neutralize the tightness that was on her chest. After that Flora wiped her tears and immediately returned to where she worked.

"Flora where have you been? I'm waiting for you in the cafeteria, he said to follow," asked Mutya.

"I'm sorry, I was in a hurry to meet someone so I didn't let you know" Flora said.

"Who? Daniel yes," ledek Mutya.

"I go first, yes" said Flora without answering any questions from Mutya.

Flora got into the elevator first to get to work. Flora came out of the elevator after reaching the floor she was on with a gloomy face. And that gloomy face was unintentionally seen by Gio.

"The gloomy face doesn't match your fierce face, my dear."

Flora looked up when she heard Gio's voice. Without wanting to return Gio's ridicule, Flora immediately hugged Gio's body.

"Help me to turn away from Daniel."
